Prologue: The Mysteries of the World
Prologue -
The Petalburg Woods were usually peaceful at night, isolated and serene. Tonight should have been a peaceful night, with the Tailow and Wingull hunting Wurmple, and the Mightyena howling their song. But tonight was no normal night. Men in suits were running around while carrying torches, looking for a source of evil, like an olden day witch hunt. Meanwhile, less than 200 feet away, a crimson-haired woman, carrying two bundles, was fleeing these men's persecution. She was carrying special treasures, and didn't want to lose them.
Eventually, the men had chased her to the edge of a cliff. They threatened her bundles be shot if she didn't surrender. In response, she fell backwards off the cliff. As the men were walking over to see what happened, a beautiful Latias flew above the cliff face, and far away from the scene, carrying the same two bundles. However, one of the men's Mightyena was able to fire a Shadow Ball in the confusion, and the attack hit it's mark.
The Latias crashed into the woods, the Shadow Ball leaving a mortal injury on her abdomen. She dragged herself, never letting go of her bundles, to a secluded cave, where a strange, blue-haired man awaited her. "Rilee! You've been injured! What happened?" "They got me, Wyatt. A Mightyena struck my underside with a Shadow Ball. I don't know if I can go on." "No, you have to! They won't have a mother who could love them like you could!" "I know, and it saddens me, but it is for their own protection. They cannot be safe as long as those men know that I am with them."
Tears started to fill the man's eyes. "Please, Wyatt, take care of them, make sure that they will be safe, and make sure that they find happiness on their own someday." The Latias could feel her life force slipping away. "I must now continue the cycle, just as you will, just as they will. As long as they have the Soul Dew, I will always be with them. Goodbye, Wyatt." The Latias shed one final tear, before turning into two small orbs. The man slipped the orbs into the bundles, filling it's contents with a warm and soothing feeling, like being close to your mother. "Goodbye, my sister," he said, before turning into a Latios and flying away into the night.

Well, now I'm back, and I'm still kicking!
So, for those of you who read the AMA chapter of A Bagon's Tale, you would know that I hinted making a story that was more traditional than my other two. This is that story, and I hope you all enjoy it!
I wrote the entire book in advance, because I'm that guy, so parts will be uploaded twice a day, not including the prologue today, so the first day will get technically 3 parts.
Well, I have parts to upload and edit, so I shall leave you here! Happy Reading!
