ACT ONE  ━━━  CHAPTER ONE,
❝ do not engage, i think she did
something to my mind ❞

          𝓐n explosion was heard outside the building which made the Maximoff triplets glance at eachother in both fear and confusion. They were inside a room of the building with a group of other people, they stood in a dark corner just listening and observing.

"Report to your stations immediately. This is not a drill. We are under attack!" The voice of Baron Strucker said through the radio. Wanda Maximoff saw the fear on her younger sister's face and slipped her hand into hers which made Lucrecia look at her. Pietro Maximoff stood behind both of his sisters and placed his arms around their shoulders. Their actions might have looked sweet but it meant so much more to them, it showed that they cared for one another.

It told a story about three siblings who were forced to fend and take care of eachother at such a young age after losing their parents in a tragic accident.

Lucrecia felt something hit her magical force field around the building and she immediately tensed. Someone was trying to break in.

What if they try to kill her? She started to sweat and both of her siblings noticed, Wanda read her mind and heard what her younger sister was thinking about which caused her eyes to widen.

Wanda grabbed her sister's shoulders and made Lucrecia face her, "Lu, it's alright. Pietro and I will protect you, we'll make sure that they won't go near you, okay?" She reassured her sister as Pietro nodded in agreement even though he didn't know what the hell they were talking about.

Lucrecia reluctantly nodded her head and focused on making the barrier stronger.

Strucker walked into the room a little bit angry that they attacked when he didn't give the order, "Who gave the order to attack?"

"Herr Strucker, it's the Avengers," A man informed, referring to the footage of the group of superheroes fighting their soldiers.

Another man holding a gun went up towards Strucker and spoke, "They landed in the far woods. The perimeter guard panicked." And then he walked away.

Strucker turned to one of his men who was wearing a suit, "They have to be after the sceptre. Can we hold them?"

"They're the Avengers," He replied in an obvious tone.

Strucker ignored him and walked forward, "Deploy the rest of the tanks. Concentrate fire on the weak ones. A hit may make them close ranks," He ordered.

The triplets looked at eachother and as if they could read eachother's minds, which two of them actually can, they immediately knew what to do. They needed to fight to protect people, but also to get revenge.

Revenge on Tony Stark.

Strucker turned to Dr. List. "Everything we've accomplished... but we're on the verge of our greatest breakthrough."

"Then let's show them what we've accomplished. Send out the triplets," Dr. List suggested. He thinks that if the Maximoffs were to fight for them, then they would, no doubt, win but Strucker thinks the opposite. When the said triplets heard them talking about them, they knew that they had to fight even if Strucker says no.

"It's too soon."

"It's what they signed up for." Strucker looked at the trio in the corner of the room who all had their heads down.

"My men can hold them," was all Strucker said before ending the conversation and walking away.

Lucrecia looked at her older siblings who glanced at eachother and nodded slighty, Pietro faced his youngest sister and nodded which was another way to say 'we're going to do it'. Lucrecia nodded at him in response and looked at Strucker to see if he was looking—he wasn't. He was distracted.

"We will not yield! The Americans sent their circus freaks to test us. We will send them back in bags. No surrender!" Strucker shouted as to which everyone except for the triplets shouts "No surrender!".

Strucker leaned towards Dr. List and whispered, "I am going to surrender. You deleted everything. If we give  the Avengers the weapons, they may not look too far into what we've been-" But Dr. List was focused on something else and cut off Strucker.

Dr. List grabbed Strucker's arm, "The triplets."

"They are not ready to take on-"

"No, no, I mean..." He trailed off, pointing at something behind Strucker which made him turn around. "The triplets."

The triplets were nowhere to be seen. They were gone.

          𝓟ietro sped the three of them outside where the fight was—where the Avengers were at.

Clint Barton hid behind a tree as he loaded his bow and arrow, he turned around and shot the arrow then he quickly went back to hide. He was waiting for an explosion but it never happened which made him confused, he instantly loaded his bow and arrow once again and aimed at the same place but got knocked down, landing on his butt as he groaned.

He went on his fours and saw a man with silver hair walk past him, "You didn't see that coming?" He mocked and then sped away leaving a light blue trail behind him. Before Clint could say or do anything, a bullet came towards him and hit him, he fell down on the ground.

Natasha Romanoff saw what happened and called out to him, "Clint!"

Captain America stood where he was until he got knocked onto the ground just as Clint was. Cap looked around alarmingly, "We have an Enhanced in the field," He said through the earpiece that all of them had to communicate with eachother mid-battle.

"Clint's hit!"

Natasha bent down beside a groaning Clint. She saw that the bunker was still shooting bullets, "Somebody want to deal with that bunker?" The Hulk roared and went through it, destroying it. "Thank you."

Iron Man flew up in the air and shot at the building, trying to break the barrier.

Wanda and Lucrecia were together when the younger one groaned in pain which made Wanda look at her concerningly, "What's wrong, Lu?"

"Someone's trying to break it, I don't think I can hold it any longer!" Lucrecia groaned out, starting to feel the barrier going down. No one has ever tried to get rid of it before so this was new to her, it was her first time experiencing the immense pain and her energy was slowly decreasing from trying to keep it up.

Lucrecia cried out when the barrier fully broke and went away. Wanda was using her powers to make it hurt less, both of them were crouched on the floor. Pietro sped infront of them with a smirk on his face but it quickly vanished when he saw what was happening.

He crouched down and softly placed his hand on Lucrecia's cheek. Pietro's eyes were filled with concern as he looked at his youngest sister, "What happened?"

Before Lucrecia can explain, Wanda answered for her. "Someone broke the barrier, she was in pain from it. We have to go!" Lucrecia, who was now stable, stood up as her siblings followed suit. She smiled at them as they returned the gesture. Pietro grabbed both of his sisters and sped them back inside the building where Tony Stark and a certain Captain were inside.

Pietro dropped off Lucrecia and Wanda behind a wall where Captain America was standing a few feet away. Strucker was going up the stairs when one of his soldiers' dropped dead infront of him making him jump. Captain America emerged behind the now dead soldier, "Baron Strucker. HYDRA's number one thug."

Lucrecia swore she saw fear in Strucker's eyes for a second before they went back to normal.

"Technically, I'm a thug for SHIELD."

"Well, then technically you're unemployed. Where's Loki's sceptre?" Cap asked which made Strucker sigh.

"Don't worry, I know when I'm beat." Lucrecia started to emerge from the shadows with Wanda beside her, you could see their glowing eyes in the dark. "You'll mention how I cooperated, I hope."

"I'll put it right under "illegal human experimentation". How many are there?" Before Strucker could reply, Wanda came out of the shadows and blasted a red mist towards Cap which sent him flying back, tumbling down the stairs. He groaned as he regained his composure and looked up to see Wanda walking backward towards another room, she shut the doors using her magic and locked them.

Cap went up the stairs and talked through the radio, "We have a second Enhanced. Female. Do not engage." Then he looked to his right only to see Strucker still standing there. Lucrecia had to resist rolling her eyes from Strucker's stupidity, if he ran away he would be fine but he didn't. Idiot.

"You'll have to be faster than-" Strucker got cut off by the American legend kicking his shield off from the ground to the level of his waist then kicking it towards Strucker which caused him to fall. Strucker whimpered from the pain as he laid there on the ground.

"Guys, I got Strucker," Cap informed his team.

"Yeah, I got something bigger." Lucrecia heard Stark say from her enhanced hearing. The moment she heard his voice, all she felt was anger. Without thinking twice, she emerged from the shadows and used her magic to make Cap freeze. There was a violet mist around his figure, he struggled and looked down to see his body completely unable to move with a strange violet mist around himself which was, no doubt, magic.

Cap looked up to see one of the most beautiful girls he has ever seen, when he looked at her it felt as if he was getting hypnotized. Long waist length straight brown hair, a perfect body that had amazing curves in the right places, full pink lips — she was truly a beauty.

Lucrecia thought he was handsome, probably the most handsome guy she's ever seen in her life—but then again, the only people of the opposite sex that she's encountered in the past years were her brother and a few musty scientists.

They stared at eachother for a moment before Cap decided to speak, "Who are you? What did you do to me?"

Lucrecia walked closer to him and held her hands up to the side of his face, a violet mist coming out of her hands. "None of your business. And I froze your body, genius."

She spoke with her Sokovian accent. God, even her voice is angelic, Cap thought. The girl laughed which made him furrow his eyebrows.

Can she read my mind?

"Yes, I can read your mind. Thank you, by the way, I'm profoundly touched.

She gave him a small smile as she softy laughed again. Cap widened his eyes in embarrassment. To avoid any more embarrassing moments, he decided to change the subject.

"Uh, miss?"

"Hmm?"

Lucrecia's eyes were closed as she went through all his memories, from his birth to the present day which was right now. Everything. She could use what she got from his memories in an advantage in the future and she could have some information about the Avengers and SHIELD.

Once she finished, she opened her eyes to meet Cap's enchanting blue ones. She already knew what he was going to ask since she read his mind so she answered his not-even-asked question yet. "I went through all your memories, it was quite... eventful." She said, her lips forming into an amused grin. "Don't worry, I won't tell."

Cap widened his eyes at the girl's disrespect for his privacy and the fact that she now knew everything about him, "Why the hell did you do that?" He asked through gritted teeth, obviously angry.

Lucrecia, however, just smirked and started backing away. "Language!" She mocked, giggling as she ran away leaving a now unfrozen blushing Steve Rogers.

He just stared at the place she ran off to and tried to get rid of the blush on his cheeks and his fast-beating heart. He shook his head and tapped his earpiece which turned his mic on, informing his team of what just happened but leaving out the details.

"A third Enhanced. Female. Do not engage, I think she did something to my mind."

          𝓐fter her encounter with Captain America, Lucrecia teleported to where her siblings were. The Maximoff found them watching Tony Stark who was frozen in place.

It seemed as Pietro also just arrived since he looked clueless just as Lucrecia was, Pietro went to step forward but was stopped by Wanda who placed her arm on his chest.

"What's happening?" Lucrecia asked her sister, whispering. Pietro also looked at Wanda, waiting for a response.

Wanda looked at her and responded, "I went into his mind, I know his greatest fear. He's in a dream, at the moment," She informed both of them.

Tony Stark's greatest fear was everyone he cares about dying. His greatest fear was Captain America telling him that he could've saved them.

Both Pietro and Lucrecia nodded and looked back at Tony who seemed to snap out of his dream. Tony blinked a few times and looked around frowning. He looked behind him at the giant robot alien-thing that wasn't alive. He sighed in relief and turned his attention back to Loki's scepter and outstretched his arm, walking towards it.

"We're just gonna let him take it?" Pietro asked both of his sisters but none of them answered.

Wanda had a grin on her face when the three of them watched Tony walk closer to the scepter as his Iron Man hand flew to him and attached to his hand.

Then he took the scepter.
