A letter from Grand Maester Orwylle to the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms appointed by the Hand of the King, Otto Hightower.

It is with grand honour to announce that Her Grace the Queen Alicent of House Hightower gave birth to the King's fourth in fifth children. During the hour of the wolf, the Queen gave birth to twins. First came the boy, which the Queen named Aemond, and then the girl, which the King named Daenys.

The boy was born healthy and strong with visible blood of the dragon running through his veins. His sister was born weaker and could not cry for a few moments. When she was given in the arms of her lady mother, the babe cried out and was fine. I suggested His Grace to keep the girl close to her mother in order to calm her nerves.

Both the King and his Hand proudly speak of the babes and celebrate their births. We hope to see you all in the celebration of the births in a Tourney organised by the King in the next week.

Dear brother,

I thought of writing you last week but the snow felt harsher over Winterfell and the ravens are hardly sent out lately. We only use them if we are in desperate need of bringing the news somewhere. Lord Bennard says my letters to you are not top priority such as the letters for the Wall so they will be sent whenever the time is appropriate. I hope that is soon.

The snow is becoming less so I hope these are sent out early enough. I wish you could be here and see the snow in real life. I doubt you'd like it though. There's a girl that lives in the Keep, her name is Aranna. She is here with her father (who oddly enough reminds me of uncle Wayne in many ways) and he taught me how to make snow castles. I thought of making a Red Keep one but I doubt that I am so talented of doing so.

I hope this letter finds you in a better state that I am when writing it. I miss you and I miss home desperately. I wish to see you soon. Would you visit in the spring time? I believe Vhagar might enjoy a little warmer atmosphere than the one that surrounds us right now. Is Meraxes doing alright? I miss her terribly too. I wish I could mount her one more time and see the wonders of the Narrow Sea. I heard it was beautiful. When you visit, I hope you bring Meraxes alongside you and Vhagar. We could fly around the North and I can show you the Wall. Cregan told me the story of when Queen Alysanne and King Jaehaerys visited, their dragons didn't dare to fly over the Wall. Cregan said his ancestors build the Wall not to keep out the savages but death itself. I'm not sure either of us really understand that.

I also hope all is well back home. Cregan's half brother has some bugs in his chambers that I believe Helaena would quite enjoy to see one day. I heard she had her babes, too. I hope you can tell her my congratulations. As to Aegon. Daeron wrote to me the other day and told me he is well in Oldtown, that he enjoys it there. I also don't hold a grudge against you for not responding to my letters lately. I am sure you are busy with training with Ser Criston (do send him by greetings), or riding Vhagar or studying. I do hope you reply to this letter soon.

Please, do tell mother that I wish to see her soon. I believe the second pregnancy is harsher than the first one. Baelor was well enough when he was in the womb, until the second moon. Rhaella, on the other hand, feels like she's biting be from the inside. I prayed to the Seven about it the other day when I heard the stories about Targaryen's being born with scales. I don't think the people here like me that much.

hi hello & welcome to visions of gideon !!! daenys, robb & theon are my sweethearts that have been a work in progress for the longest time by now so i'm so happy to finally put them out here!!!🥹

anyway!! the timeline WILL be messy bc since when is this universe not messy? but the book is also a hybrid between book and show canon! i think the show made some good changes but also many bad changes. & yes, daenys rides a dragon that was supposed to be dead but my love for meraxes goes up and beyond!!

robb & theon — my beloved bastard children🫶🫶 none of these asoiaf men are good so obviously rickon has bastard children here!! (besides jacaerys😔😔) && also, as this book was made prior s2, arnas remains the cast for cregan because i have good scenes while i'm surviving off a minute scene pack from tom💔💔 && the three could actually pass as siblings too💔💔
