ELIJAH'S POV

I looked in the mirror and straightened my coat. I wiped some invisible dust off my coat and turned to the side to look at myself in the mirror again.

'Of course! My side profile always stays the same. Handsome!' I smirked to myself and walked to the door. And that was not show off...it was confidence!! Confident that I, Elijah was handsome and would always be handsome.

I got in my car and drove all the way to an abandoned building. It was very dark. I fished the phone out of my pocket and turned on the flashlight. This place was loaded with dust! My suit could get dusty!! Why did he had to choose this place itself?

Ring - ring

I jumped at the sound of my phone ringing.

'Oh god! This place is already creepy!'

'Hello Elijah.'

'Where the hell are you? I have already reached and I can't risk getting my suit dirty. I have an important meeting to attend. Get here fast!'

'I am on my way. I will reach in 2 minutes'

'Of course. You are never punctual!'

'Ugh! I am here. I have reached.'

And with that he hung up the phone.

'Elijah!' I almost screamed because of how he creeped up from behind me. I turned around.

'Are you mad? What if I got a heart attack?'

'Why would you get a heart attack?'

'No one creeps up behind a person to call them. And how dusty is this place! Didn't you have any other place where we could have been?'

'No one will see us nor will they come inside because no one has been at this place for years. So.. I thought this was the perfect place! Just like how you see in the movies!'

'Come to your senses. This is neither a movie nor a fairytale. This is reality!'

'As if I didn't know.'

'Let's just finish what we came here for?'

'Yeah. Here you go!' He handed me the pendrive. I put it in my pocket.

'By the way Elijah! I still don't understand why we had to meet out of town!'

'Firstly, this is not out of town. To be out of town you have to travel 8 more kilometres. And secondly, we don't want anyone to see us. If anyone does see us, it will lead to bigger problems which we won't be able to handle. So, it is better to go for the safer option rather than taking risks!'

'I just asked you one question and you have started giving a big answer. Before it turn to speeches, I am going to leave!'

He turned and walked away. No manners at all!! He could have at least said a good bye! It wouldn't hurt him. Whatever! It was not as if I would have jumped in joy if he said a bye!

I got out of that not-so-good-but- absolutely dusty place and drove back to my meeting. I finished my other works and went back home.

After reaching home, I took out my phone and dialled Ian.

'Hello Ian.'

'Hello Elijah. Any problems? It is very late at night. Is everything alright?'

'Yes. I called to say that you and Asa should be here at my house tomorrow morning. There is an urgent matter and  I think we are ready to strike.'

'Is everything ready? Did we get all we needed?'

'Yes. Everything's fine. Just get here tomorrow. Be here sharp at 9 am. Don't be late!'

'No we won't be. We will reach there at sharp 9 am. See you tomorrow then!'

'Yeah see you!'

I hung up and went to bed. I just hoped nothing would go wrong tomorrow. It was a very big day and I hope Ian and Genevive would be happy with the consequences.

I opened the door. Ian and Asa stood in front of me.

'So...you wanted to speak of something important?'

'Yes I do, Asa. Stop asking stupid questions and get inside.'

I went into the kitchen and took my mug of coffee. I took a sip of it and relaxed. I sighed.

'So, I have done everything and I think we will be able to get everything done by today.'

'What do you mean by today? You have got all the evidences needed then?'

'Yes. I have got all the evidences and I have already handed them over. Just pray that he won't have any suspicions or else nothing will go our way.'

'Yes that is true. I hope he doesn't suspect. By the way, where is Hudson?' Asa did many actions with his hand.

'You know where he is. And he won't be needed for now! Did you tell Genevive and Kamri? Do they know about anything?'

'No. They still don't know. We will let them know once we are sure of everything!'

'Yeah. No need to get their hopes too high.Even you both, keep your hopes low.'

'Then I guess we can leave now!'

'Yes Ian. That is a better option. We have to reach there in time or else we will miss the show! Come on!' I smirked.

'This is going to be interesting!' Ian turned to Asa.

'Hell yeah! I just can't wait anymore. The moment he realizes... I just want to see his face at that time. It is going to be a hell lot of fun!' Asa smirked.

'Alright let's go!' I smirked.
