You definitely don't want to lose your mother too, do you? And yeah all the credits to my well skilled accomplice! The person is quite talented I must say!

I was beyond shocked. I literally wanted to shriek out so loud and just burst into an ocean of tears. But have you ever been in that kind of a situation before? Where you just wanted to cry like never before but you're just too numb to even move a finger? I was stuck in that situation, where I was too overwhelmed to do anything! But suddenly realization hit me! Delano who was behind this note had said that our date was favourable for him. Only Kamri and Asa knew about our date! No! No! No! I shouldn't be thinking that! They would definitely not be the traitors!

You can't trust anyone so easily.

No way in hell would I doubt them! The four of us were practically like siblings ever since a long time. And I wasn't going to stoop so low as to doubt them just like that! Delano could have followed us behind and understood about our date. Couldn't he? Asa or Kamri wouldn't go behind our backs now, would they?

I didn't knew what to do. I slowly looked around and finally mustered up some courage to get inside my house. I couldn't stand there all day after all!

I quickly got in and shut the door. I let out a sigh of relief for God knows what! I had to tell Ian. At normal circumstances, I would have first informed Kamri and then we both would have thought about letting the boys know. But this time, I had to choose Ian before my best friend! It did hurt a lot! The fact that, my stupid logical mind wasn't letting me trust my own better half aka my idiotic best friend just based on the words of a man who was a total jerk, was driving me crazy!

I gulped down some water and dialled Ian's number. He picked up after a few rings and I told him whatever I had to tell him.

'You are right there Gen! Only Asa and Kam knew about our date. So If Delano had mentioned about the date in his note, it means the traitor knew.'

I sighed. That kind of a sigh which had so much emotions in it.

'But don't worry! I have an idea. As much as I refuse to believe Kam and Asa are the traitors, we still gotta confirm. So we shall just set a meet up at your house and then inform them about it.' - Ian spoke in a calm tone.

'Yeah! And we shall see how they react to it.'

'OK! Call those two idiots and tell them to arrive at your house. Ok?'

'Ok! You too arrive quick.'

'Sure my lady! And Gen! Don't stress out too much! I'm here for you.'

'Of course Ian! Thank you! ' - I smiled.

'You just don't learn! How many times have I told you not to say thank you?'

'Umm.... I ain't sure if I've counted how many times but I sure take my thank you back!'

Ian laughed and I too joined in. We then hung up and I informed the duo about the meet-up. I hadn't told them why I wanted them to come. Now it was time to see how they'd react.

'Gen!' - Asa yelled from the kitchen. And yes! Y'all guessed it right! He was searching for snacks.

'For God's sake can you just stuff some cotton into your mouth! Your voice is too irritating.' - and yeah Kam had to say it.

'Gennnnn!' - Asa sang and I quickly rushed to the kitchen. No offense here, but Asa isn't the best singer.

I handed him some normal stuffs to munch on and he casually walked to the living room not before passing me a 100 watt smile.

'Ok! So I called you guys here to - '

'Ouchhh!' - Kamri shrieked cutting me off mid sentence.

'Why are you screaming like the mad woman you are?' - Asa huffed.

'You actually have the audacity to ask that you brainless stupid buffalo?'

Ok, World War three has officially began. Ian and I sat back on the couches ready to watch their live bickering.

'You called me a buffalo Kamri?'

'Oh I'm sorry if I insulted the buffalo family.'

'Was I supposed to get offended?' - Asa shot back in sarcasm.

'Asa! I screamed like that because you stepped your foot on my palms. '

'Oh my god! Gen! Hand me some anti - bacterial cleaner. My foot must have got infected.'

'You know what Asa? You are a loser!'

'Oh wow!'

'Were you born on some highway? Because that's where most of the accidents happen! '

'Kamri! I pity you! I would have called you a retard. But that's just an insult to them!'

'Such a lame comeback!'

'Really?'

'Are you deaf?'

'Are you brainless?'

'Shut up Asa!'

'Can't you even struggle here to just come up with something good?'

'Don't talk about struggling when you don't know what it actually means.'

'Don't assume things if you don't know the real story.'

Oh no! They weren't supposed to talk about those things! This wasn't their usual bickering! Things were going out of control!

'You are a brat Asa! A spoiled rotten brat!'

'Kamri! I warn you!'

'You warn me what Asa? Huh? What?'

'Save yourself before I lose my temper.'

'Oh I thought this was the cheapest you could become!'

'Such a thought!'

'No wonder they left you Asa!'

'Kamri Luciana Cohen!'

'Asa Roux Dankworth!

'Don't blame me if I hit you!'

'Really Asa? How can you stoop that low?'

'If you can stoop damn low as to hurt a person deeply, then I ain't wrong at all!'

'You got hurt poor boy? I thought you had a stone in between your lungs.'

'Sure you are two faced! But can't you make atleast one of them good enough?'

'I pity your family that they still bear with you!'

Kam was not at all in her right mind. I got up to stop their fight but was taken aback when Asa snapped back at Kam.

'Too bad you can't Photoshop your ugly personality!'

'Mine's not as ugly as yours!'

'Sure! At least I don't go around spitting words that hurt people like hell!'

'Don't act like you are the most innocent being on earth Asa! '

'I told you I might not be the most soft hearted person, but I NEVER IN A MILLION DREAMS would hurt someone intentionally.' - Asa yelled and Kam flinched.

'You are a spoiled boy Asa! You bring so much joy to us when you leave the room.'

'I am not as worthless as you Kamri. I respect people's feelings. Even yours.'

'Asa, you insult me every day and you say you respect my feelings! Wow such a great liar.'

Ian and I got up. We had to stop it right then and there or one of them would be murdered. This wasn't their usual tracks. Today they had both gone overboard and we weren't going to let them carry on.

'Stop both of you!  That's more than enough!' - Ian made them sit down while I fetched water for them.

Ian blinked at Asa reassuringly while he just looked at us blankly. Man! Kam really had lost her mind when she was screaming things.

'Asa - '  Kam began.

'Please!' - Asa whispered so weakly that I, for a second, thought he would just cry. Asa was one strong guy if you ask me but he must have gotten hurt when Kam said those.

Kam looked down guiltily while Ian rubbed Asa's back. Kam is uncontrollable when she is angry. She would just yell out things and then regret later.

'Alright! We have more important things to discuss now. You guys ready?' - I asked them in a cheerful tone.

Ian gave me a thumbs up sign in a reassuring way while Kam straightened up from her position. And Asa? He just gave me a curt nod.

Boy he must have got really hurt!

I was a little nervous. What if they were the traitors in reality? No! I had to trust them. They would never even think of doing such cheap things. That's what I believed atleast. I opened and closed my mouth a few times like a fish. I was really scared to say the least. All the what if's were clouding my mind and I just wished for things to be as normal as they could be.

Under normal conditions, if I were to say these kind of stuffs, Kam would just freak out and Asa would mutter something like crap or dang. These would for sure be their first reactions. And now, if they were to react like this we sure had nothing to fear about and could just work together to find the traitor.

Trust me, hiding things from your best friend is way worse than you can imagine!

And how could I be so certain about their reactions? The four of us had known each other practically since we were toddlers! Ok that was an exaggeration but we were together since such a long time.

I finally opened my mouth and told them. I obviously skipped the part that proposed that they too were the suspects. I waited keenly for their reactions. But what shook me the most from within was that them, and that means the ever so dramatic Kamri Cohen and Asa Dankworth, seemed so unfazed by the news.
