I showed them the message.

'Woah! I think he genuinely likes you Gen! Congratulation! You have a follower!' I glared at Kamri and she shut her mouth.

'I really don't like this but I will do it!'

'If you don't won't to do it.. you really don't have to Gen! We can find some other way!' Ian kept a reassuring hand on my shoulder.

'No problem Ian! We may get some important information out of him!' I smirked.

'That is my gurl!' Kamri smirked at me and high-fived.

'Genny sound so odd and it does not match you!' Asa pointed to me.

'I agree with you Asa! Why would he call me Genny? I expected better from you Hudson!' I said staring at his message.

'Why don't we start calling her Genny? What do you think?' Ian smirked.

'No you won't! It does not fit me!' I crossed my arms over my chest.

'Then what about sweetheart? I already know your name sweetheart!' Kamri started laughing. We all joined her.

It was nice being with them. They always made me happy even when I was worse to them. Thay are always there for me. That is why I love them!

I bit onto my sandwich humming on my favourite song. Now we all sat in the cafeteria at school munching on our foods. After yesterday's meeting, Kamri, Ian and Asa went to their houses and I waited for any messages from Hudson. I never thought that we would chat for long but we did it anyway! That conversation went like this:

H: Hey Genny
                   -Hudson.

G: Hey Hudson.

H: What's up?

G: Everything good!

H: Any plans for tmrrw?

G: Not really! Why?

H: If you are free...we could go out after school?!

G: Of course! At 4?

H: Sure.. Be ready by the time!

G: I will be waiting!! :-)

H: Looking forward to it sweetheart ;-)

G: Yeah me too!!

H: Goodnight sweetheart!♡

G: Goodnight!

And this was how it went. He even sent me a heart emoji! Look at his attitude

Ian, Kamri and Asa read the conversation.

'I am not at all surprised!' We all turned to Kamri.
'Ever since we have been searching about Bardot Industries...only the unexpected happened! So I am not at all surprised!'

I smiled.

'Gen are you sure you want to do this? You can cancel this now if you want! You don't have to do this. Besides we know nothing about Hudson!' Ian looked at me.

I know he does not want me to do this because anything can happen. But I really don't think that Hudson is same like his father. I am sure about one thing that he is different from his father. I don't know why but he made me feel like that.

'It's going to be fine Ian besides I am only doing this to find something about Bardot Industries so that we can expose them. That is my only motive. If he does say anything about Delano or about Bardot Industries..it will be of great help to us right?!'

Ian nodded at me. I smiled at him.

'But to be honest guys! I want to spend time with you three instead of him! I barely know him!' I smiled.

'Gen if you need any help you can call me... I will reach there on the spot and kill him!' Yes you guessed it right. It was Kamri!

'She is not going on a murder mission Kam!' We all laughed.

The bell rang.

'So..see you some other time guys!'

I checked myself in my mirror. Not bad! I wore a pink floral crop top with jeans. I applied my liner and lipbalm. I thought of leaving my hair open.

It feels like I am going on a date! But the costume..it was all Kamri's idea. As she said if you are gojng out with Hudson..wear something you would wear on a date because you want him to tell you things! And with that she selected my dress and went home.

I sighed. I really wish that one day I would go like this dressed with Ian!

I heard a honk outside my door and that's my cue to leave. I had sent Hudson my address earlier.

I went out and closed the door making sure to check twice if it's locked. I turned around to see a beautiful car. Hudson sat in there smiling at me. He got out of his car and opened the door to my side. I gratefully thanked him and got in. He came in and off we went.

'You look beautiful'

'Thank you! You don't look bad yourself' I smiled.

'I never thought you would agree in coming with me but thanks for coming'

'I have been going through a lot lately so I also needed a break!'

He smiled.

'By the way, where are we going?'

'Its kind of a surprise'

'I hate surprises!'

'We are going to reach soon!'

We stopped in front of west rose park. I have never been here for 4 years. I used to come here with my dad but when he passed away I stopped coming.

'I have never been here for a long time. I literally love this place.' I had to keep up a conversation with him. I had to make him talk to me. 'I have many memorable memories over here.' I smiled thinking all those joyful times.

'Yeah me too. I used to come here when I was small with my father but then we stopped coming. So..let's go in'

'Sure!'

We walked side by side.

'So tell me something about your family!'

'My family! My mom works at hillside private limited. She is super busy and I never get to see her much. My dad..my dad is no longer with us.'

'I am terribly sorry'

'No you don't have to be sorry! It's not your fault..you didn't know! By the way, tell me something about your family'

'Sure but let's go buy some ice cream!'

'I love ice cream!' I smiled.

'Which flavour?'

'I will go for chocolate chip caramel'

He brought me my chocolate chip caramel and he brought cookie dough ice cream for himself.

'So where were we?'

'You were talking about yor family'

'Yeah..it's just me and my mom. My mom and dad got divorved seven years ago. I also had an elder brother who passed away ten years back!'

'I..uh.. I didn't know that!'

'No problem...he died in car accident'

It seemed he was not interested in talking about his father. I had to say something!

'So what about your father? You don't live with him?'

'My father..he is the manager of Bardot Industries. I did hear..some other person was the manager early but then he handed the company to my dad. After my mom divorced him, we never saw him again'

'Oh.. so who was the manager before?'

'It was one of his friend...i think someone named Asher Owens.'
