Unanimous winner of Judges Choice StillDreaming145. She wowed us with her writing style, flow and detail. Her main character was well constructed and relatable. Its message universal! Here she is to talk a little more about her inspiration and what diversity means to her-

Firstly, Congratulations on winning Judges Choice! How do you feel?

Thank you! I feel so proud and excited and very surprised because I did not expect to win this at all.

What made you want to enter the #visible competition in the first place?

Well, first I was just looking for competitions to enter since it was my summer holiday and needed something to do. So I stumbled upon the #visible competition and read through what it was and I just had to get involved because what you and everyone else in this project are doing is such an important thing and I just needed to be part of it.

The topics you have written about in your story- why did you choose to write about them?

So I wrote about a type of anxiety because firstly, it's what I have and everyone always says "write what you know" so I did. But secondly because when there is anxiety in books or films, it's always social anxiety, never any other types, so I wanted to show that there is more than one form of anxiety.

What do you hope the readers take away from your story? Is there anything you would like to say to them?

Well, like I said, there are many types of anxiety, so if you think you might have it but doubt yourself because it isn't the standard one everyone talks about, well don't. Go ask for help or speak to someone because the fears are most likely just in your head and can be solved. I didn't think I had anything and let it get worse, but now I know I do and have got help for it. But also, I wanted readers to see that things get better. No matter what happens to you, even if the problem never goes away, good things can still happen.
