Nami is (Jounin) 18

I woke to air blowing past me.

"You awake?" Deidara's voice asked.

"Y-yeah." I answered and sat up. My mind was all fuzzy and I couldn't concentrate very well.

I heard some yelling, behind me and instantly checked the Chakra.

Naruto was behind us, followed by Nami, Aimi and Taiki. Kakashi was right behind them.

I almost sighed in relief, "Why did Sasori tell you to take me?" I asked, irritated.

"I don't know how his mind works. Probably because he had Amaya and Akemi to help him and didn't want to have to make sure you didn't run off." He grumbled to himself about laziness.

I pulled my legs up to me and my hands behind me.

"Don't. Please. I don't want to have to catch you and risk those lot getting me." Deidara snapped.

I ignored him and pushed myself off the bird, backwards.

He expected me to listen and growled when I fell. 

I tumbled down, air whipping my hair back. Suddenly the fall stopped. Someone had caught me.

"You ok?" Kakashi asked.

I nodded, "Thank you." He put me down and sighed, "Boy have you grown." 

"Aisu! Aisu! Aisu! Aisu!" I was suddenly attacked by a small body. "Your ok, right?" 

"Yeah, I've missed you Aimi!" I hugged her back.

"Let's go! Gaara is still up there." Naruto growled.

"Hm... the Akatsuki member seems to be hesitant to carry on. Mei, I think you better be careful." Kakashi said lazily. I hugged Nami and Taiki as well quickly.

"Can we go now?" Naruto grumbled.

"Now that Mei is safe, we can attack without risk of harming her." Nami said. 

I felt Deidara move forward again, and we followed. Keeping on his tail Charkra surged next to me from Kakashi.

"Mangekyou Sharingan." Nami whispered to herself, sounding shocked.

The world seemed to tilt, the air felt all scrunched up and my insides felt tight. It was as if Kakashi's Sharingan was trying to suck something out of the air, twisting it and making it vanish completely from this world.

"What's happening?" I asked, my mind was a mess, so many feelings and confusion swirled.

"The air... The Akatsuki member... it's swirling." Aimi stuttered, she also sounded mixed up and confused.

Suddenly it stopped, and I heared gasping from Kakashi, "Are you ok?" I asked.

"Yeah, yeah it... it just takes a lot of Chakra because the Sharingan isn't originally mine." He mumbled, then sucked in a breath.

The strange feeling came back, the tightness and swirling. Then it was gone again.

"What is that technique?" Naruto asked.

"You got his arm, Kakashi-san." Aimi said gleefully.

"I wanted to get the whole of him." Kakahsi grumbled, while we jumped.

The trees that stuck out from the cliff faces seemed to go on forever, folowing the river.

"He has no arms now..." I whispered to myself.

I felt Deidara's Chakra move, heading away form the river and into the trees, we followed quickly. 

Naruto ran ahead silently, his Chakra moving fast and unseen by Deidara. He leaped up, in the air beside Dei and I could feel his Chakra focusing to his hand, swirling madly.

"W-what is that?" I asked.

"Ah, Naruto's new technique the Rasengan." Kakashi replied.

Deidara must  have noticed Naruto because he leaped back, off the flying bird and into a tree, causing Naruto's technique to slice through the bird instead.

"Kage bunshin no jutsu!" He yelled, splitting his Chakra into clones of him who caught the bird head and landed with it safely.

I ignored Deidara who hid in the trees, and landed next to Naruto to check on Gaara.

"Naruto, are you ok? Nami asked.

He didn't reply, but the red angry Chakra that burst from him was a reply enough for me, I stepped back, pulling Nami and Aimi with me. Taiki and Kakashi stood further away, realised something was happening and moved back.

Naruto dissappeared, even from my senses and appeared behind Deidara's Chakra. He punched Dei before he could even move.

Clones of Naruto appeared next to the falling Deidara, and using their momentum, smashed him into the hard earth. The real Naruto jumped off the tree and slamed into Dei.

Aimi gasped and Nami flinched slightly.

"What's happening?" I asked.

"He's gone crazy." Nami said.

"He's punching him." Aimi added.

He created the Rasengan again, and slamed it down, but Deidara's Chakra wasn't their any more.

Naruto's angry Chakra grew stronger, more of it protruding from his body, giving him a form of a human with tails.

I was confused, "What's happening to him"? I asked.

"The nine tails..." Kakashi mumbled quietly.

"Kyuubi." Taiki added.

Naruto leaps forward, crashing into a tree sending dirt, branches and leaves flyign everywhere and stinging my skin.

Kakashi's chakra moves quickly, landing infront of Naruto.

Suddenly, Naruto's fuming chakra diminishes. 

"What happened?" I question.

"Kakashi used a seal of some sort." Taiki mumbles.

I search for Deidara's chakra and feel it behind some bushes to the right of Naruto and Kakashi. Four other familiar chakras are closing in, and stop in front of Deidara's chakra.

Why am I not telling anyone this? Deidara is the enemy right?

"There he is!" Aimi exclaims.

Deidara is suddenly in the clearing near Naruto and Kakashi again. I feel Nami, Taiki and Kakashi gather Chakra.

I examine the other familiar Chakra, Neji, Lee, Tenten and Guy-sensei follow Deidara into the clearing. Tenten attacks first, her chakra moving as if she threw something. Two other Chakras appear, Sakura and one similar to Sasori's.

Deidara dodges, running up a tree which Guy then kicks. Dei lands, running but is stopped by Lee who is a flurry of moving Chakra.

Just as Neji builds up his Chakra, Deidara does too. 

"Art is an explosion!" Dei's familiar voice yells loudly. I feel his body slip away, down into the earth leaving a clone.

"Nami! Get Aimi away!" Taiki shouts.

I feel strong arms lift me up as I feel heat build up where Deidara was.

"We're not going to make it!" Neji yells.

The earth seems to expload, flying debris and dust smashes into me and the person carrying me, along with a wave of heat and a loud bang.

The person carrying me drops the the ground, sheilding me body from the explosion.

It dies down quickly, leaving silence and swirling dirt in the.

"Are you ok?" 

"Taiki?"

"Yeah." 

"You saved me?" I ask.

"Hm, yeah I guess I did." He replies.

"Thank you," He pulls me up and slides something into my hand.

I held it with both hands, a piece of string and hung in the middle of it was a distinct shape of a dragonfly.

"I never got to give you this before you left us." Taiki mumbled.

"Was this from..."

"The market, when you were nine." He answered for me.

"Taiki, Tha-"

"Aisu! You're ok right?!" Aimi attacked me with a tight hug, "I'm so glad you're ok, the mean leaf ninja thought you were dead btu I never believed it for one minute!" 

Nami joined the hug, "It's good to see you're fine." She whispered.

Taiki's chakra moved away from us, leaving us alone.

I was suddenly bombarded with hugs and talking, but that lasted for a very short time before everyone focused on Gaara again.

I searched for his Chakra but found nothing. What was there was such a tiny amount, I completely looked over it.

I slumped to the ground, my body tired and aching. My mind was cloudy as the past twenty four hours ran through me head. I'd met two new Akatsuki members who had not wanted to join, but joined for each other, Sasori had been defeated as Sakura had explained, Deidara had escaped and Gaara had died. Still, I hadn't given Deidara away... what confused me the most was why.

It's been ages since I last uploaded! I AM SO SORRY!!!

My school has been dishing out homework as if I don't have a life.

And... I kinda forgot about this story... please don't kill me!
