This is a random chapter before they get back to the Hidden Leaf, It's not in the actual program, I made it up :) PLEASE VOTE, COMMENT etc I love ya alll!!  Pretty please ;)

"There is a hot spring ahead, we can rest there for tonight." A voice says.

I lift my head grogilly.

"Ah your awake." 

"What happened?" I ask.

I sense Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura in front of me.

Kakashi puts me down, "How are you feeling?"

"I'm ok, what happened Kakashi sensei?"

"Not much, Zabuza and Haku are dead, Gato is also, the village defended themselves." He replies.

"Wait! Sasuke? Your ok?" I ask, looking over in his direction.

"Hn." He replies.

"Well anyway, there is a hot spring ahead, we can stop there for a night." Kakashi says.

Nobody speaks as we follow Kakashi through the forest to a hot spring.

Sakura trees surround the area, leaving pink petals everywhere.

Sakura likes this, she exclaims over the names of the trees, emphasising that she was named after them.

"You're named after a plant?" I ask confused.

Naruto burst out laughing, Sasuke lets out a chuckle.

"WHAT!?" Sakura yells in my face.

"Uh, sorry Sakura! I-I Just-"

"HAHAHA GOLD! That was halarious Mei-chan!" Naruto says laughing.

"Urgh! Mei! How could you! I thought you were my friend!" Sakura cries.

What did I do? "Sorry Sakura! I didn't mean it!" I try to comfort her.

She sniffs, "Really?" 

I nod, still confused.

Naruto is still laughing.

Kakashi sighs and leads us into the building.

"Shut up Naruto." I mumble as I walk past him.

He snickers, "Sorry Mei-chan."

"Ok Sakura, Mei, you'll share a room." Kakashi says pointing to a corridoor.

Sakura grabs my arm and pulls me down the hall.

We go into the room he pointed out and drop our stuff on the matts. (Beds :P)

"Let's go to the springs!" Sakura yells looking out of the window.

I undress and wrap a towel around me.

Sakura runs outside to the springs and climbs in.

I follow her and sit in the hot water, relaxing.

I stay for half an hour talking to Sakura, then climb out.

I wrap the towel around me.

"I'll see you back in the room Sakura." I say.

Only her eyes are visible over the water, so the response I get is bubbles.

I walk back into the building.

Third person POV

Naruto and Sasuke sit in the water in shock.

"You saw Mei-chan right?" Naruto asks.

"Hn." Sasuke replies.

"She's... She was..."

"Hn."

"Don't you say anything other than that?" Naruto yells.

"Yeah." 

"Ugh, your so annoying." Naruto growls, dipping under the hot water.

"Baka. You shouldn't spy on girls in the hot springs." 

"You were too!" Naruto exclaims loudly.

"Ah boys, now this better not be true what I've been hearing." Kakashi says laying a hand on each of their heads.

Noth of the boys's eyes widen. 

Caught red handed.

"N-no Kakashi sensei." Both boys mumble.

"Good good because It is rude to spy on young girls." Kakashi replies with a smile.

"Your one to talk! You read those weird books Kakashi sensei!" Naruto yells.

"Now Naruto, that is a completely different topic. You are only boys. Mei is a young girl. Don't let me catch you again. Actually don't do this again." He glares at both boys evilly.

The boys know he's smirking trying to scare them.

It works as well. 

Both of them are terrified and vow to themselves not to spy again.

Mei's POV 

I dry my hair in a towel, humming.

 Sakura stalks in angrilly.

"What's up?" I ask.

"Oh, I-It's nothing..." She sighs, "Just Naruto and Sasuke." 

I nod, understanding.

I turn away neatening the bedding.

I feel Sakura glaring at me.

"What's wrong Sakura?" I snap, "Why are you glaring at me?"

She stays silent.

"Tell me!" 

Silence.

"Sakura! If you don't tell me right now... I'll tell Sasuke that you don't like him." I know this works because she gasps.

"B-but Mei-chan! Oh alright I'll tell you... but don't get mad at me."

I nod and listen as she tells me everything.

~~ Time Skip ~~

"NARUTO! SASUKE!" I yell, stalking to their room.

Kakashi opens the door, "Ah Mei, hello." I push him out of the way.

"Where are they?" I snap at him.

"Uh..."

"Naruto and Sasuke! Where are they!"

"The springs, why?" 

I ignore him and run to the springs.

Luckily they are empty so I stalk into the males. 

Good thing I can't see. I sure would not want to see Naruto and Sasuke right now.

"Mei-chan?" Naruto's voice sounds confused.

"What are you doing here?" Sasuke asks.

 "You two... You two are going to pay." I growl.

They look at each other and curse.

"We didn't mean to Mei-chan! It was an accident!" Naruto yells.

"Sure. That's not what Sakura said." I reply.

"Sakura." Sasuke grumbles.

"You're going to be sorry for that." I say.

~~~ Time Skip ~~~

 The Sushi tastes amazing here.

I take another piece and pop it in my mouth.

"The food here is great!" Sakura says eating Onigiri.

Kakashi nods taking some rice balls.

The doors slide back to reveal a beaten up Sasuke and Naruto.

 They walk over and sit down at the table. I can tell that they are avoicing looking at me.

Kakashi and Sakura look between us.

 I smile innocently.

"Your late for dinner." I observe.

They don't reply.

"Mei what did you do?" Kakashi asks with a sigh.

"Nothing sensei. Karma got them." I say with a smile.

Sakura snorts causing me to grin.

"Right. Karma. Well, Karma should be a bit nicer towards he team mates." Kakashi says.

"Karma doesn't like to be spied on when in the hot spring." I retort eating another bit of Sushi.

He sighs again.

"I'm full! See you tomorrow!" I get up and walk out of the room.

I go to mine and Sakura's room and lie on my bedding.

To be able to see. To know my family and past.

The offer that those men had given me was a good one.

Nothing sounds wrong with it.

Apart from why they want me to join them. Surely they don't want a thirteen year old girl around, bugging them...

So why did they ask me?"

I fall asleep before Sakura comes in, thinking of the strange men.

Kakashi's POV

The way that those boys watch Mei is funny.

They care about her, worry when she is injured, protect her.

When she beat them up yesterday, although they now slightly fear her, they respect her.

Whatever she does makes them like her more.

It's funny really, seeing Naruto, the nuckle head ninja taking interest in a girl and Sasuke, normally silent and pushing everybody away from him, noticing Mei.

She hasn't realized though, she thinks of them as team mates, friends, that's all. She doesn't really see how she should react or act around them. 

It makes me wonder about her past. 

Her blindness also intrigues me. How without the blindfold, she sees nothing, with it she can see outlines of things. 

And now her new unknown power, freezing those two men without a hand sign or word, just out of fear is truely amazing for a gennin of her level, not knowing much about Chakra let alone how to use it.

She is a strange child, isolated and lonely, but she's starting to open up, she's acepting her team as friends and she's starting to care about them.

I want to protect her, to look after her. She is like my own child, I've only know her for about a week and I already feel of her as my own relation.

She really gets under your skin.

But I don't think she's happy with the Hokage banning her from the Portabijon, will she be satisfied with what she's got? I doubt it.

I just hope she doesn't do anything drastic.

Mei's POV

I walk next to Naruto as we make our way through the dense forests.

I forgave him and Sasuke this morning on the condition that they would never ever do that to me or any other girl ever again.

"So you like Sushi and Ramen, but don't like bean soup, fire or spiders?" Naruto asks, clarifying whta I had just told him.

I'm using Taiyo's (My character from my other story) fears here :L They are very alike :P There will be quite a few similarities so just ignore them or something :)

"Yep. And you love Ramen but don't like ghosts." I reply.

"Awesome, so we know each other better now!" He exclais loudly.

I smile slightly.

"So Mei-chan, do you like Sasuke?" He asks, his voice gone quiet suddenly.

"What do you mean?" 

"Do you like him?"

"Well, he's alright, a bit rude and unsociable, but he seems ok." I reply.

"Oh, right. Yeah, he is rude and unsociable! It's stupid! What a baka!" He laughs sounding nervous.

I ignore his weird behaviour and watch my feet, avoiding rocks and holes in the ground.

We stay silent as we walk through the trees.

"Mei-chan? How are your injuries?" Sakura asks.

"Fine I think." I reply.

"Your stomach was damaged twice and your wrist, you definately sure your ok?" She asks.

"Yep. My stomach is healed, and my wrist is too." I say.

She goes quiet again.

It takes us another day to get back to the Hidden Leaf.

A very boring day of silence. Well It was boring for Naruto.

Everybody else enjoyed the quiet.
