"Jolt," barked Shocksurge, half in relief half in surprise.
Jolt pushed past her and flicked his tail to show her that he wasn't listening. "I got this," he assured Ratchet as he looked over to what seemed to be the only place that was sanitary enough for surgery. Brisk and Shocksurge helped carry Cobalt over to the place which had a small berth. They set him down and Jolt looked down on him.
"Hang in there. This shouldn't be long," he assured before he grabbed a tube and attached it to Cobalt. "Induce stasis."
Ratchet nodded in understanding and hit the button. Cobalt was already unconscious but this kept him there. Once Jolt was sure he wouldn't wake up he took out a took he always kept with him and sliced into Cobalt's chest. Energon leaked out but he wasn't fazed. He forget this is what he loved to do, save Cybertronians.
Shocksurge couldn't watch though. The sight of energon made her want to purge her tanks. She turned back to Lumber who was sitting beside Eclipse on a berth. She leaped onto the berth and looked over to Eclipse.
"Shocksurge," barked Lumber as he darted to her and smiled as Eclipse tilted her head in confusion. "I'm glad you're alright."
"I'm fine," she assured as she looked over at Eclipse. "How is she?"
"A bit shaken up but she'll live," Lumber replied as he looked over to Eclipse who was standing with her head hung as she coughed pitifully.
Shocksurge narrowed her optics. Eclipse didn't have a lot of time. "I hope. The only thing that can save her now is Jolt."

Jolt worked as hard as he could. He was checking his vitals and he continued to check his chest cavity. He saw how much was destroyed because of the virus. It was a miracle that he was still alive. He knew that the damage was substantial but when he removed the virus Cobalt should be able to repair himself with a little assistance and spare parts.
However the problem was that he couldn't find the Virus. It was made to hide but he didn't know how well. "Where is the slagging thing," asked Jolt as he gingerly poked around inside Cobalt's chest cavity.
"Don't worry," assured Brisk as he sat beside Jolt and nudged his friend gingerly. "You'll find it. Just clear your processor."
Jolt took in a breath and relaxed his body. "Thanks Brisk." He continued until his claws connected on something metal. He clasped it and tugged it painfully off of Cobalt's respirator. That must be causing the coughing and the energon leaking in there.
He thrust the Decepticon Virus on the ground. It tried to get away but Brisk thrust a bucket over it. He looked up in relief. "If we can study that then perhaps that we can learn more."
"Good idea," murmured Jolt as he turned and tugged out all of the metal parts he had left behind. He then sighed heavily and looked to Brisk with downcast optics.
"What's wrong," asked Brisk in concern as he left the Virus and leaned closer to Jolt.
"Cobalt has lost so much energon and the rest of it is contaminated, "he confessed as he looked to Cobalt's still beating spark.
"So what does that mean?" Brisk was no medic and he didn't desire to be one.
"It means that he needs an energon transfusion," replied Jolt as he kinked his tail over his back. "And I don't know who is a match."
"Then let's go find out!" barked Brisk as he nudged his head against Jolt's shoulder. "You just need to ask and take an energon test."
Jolt turned to the bots standing around, waiting anxiously if he could save Cobalt. He took in a deep and bellowing sigh and nodded. "You're right Brisk." He placed Cobalt in stasis and stitched him up temporarily. He placed the virus in a sealed container and bounded after Brisk.
He knew that he was asking a lot of whoever would volunteer to give up part of their own energon so that Cobalt could have theirs. He would ordinarily have a stash of energon but energon was the whole reason, or at least part of the reason, that they were fighting the war. They didn't have the luxury of being able to give Cobalt whatever he needed. They needed to get whatever scraps they could find and that meant a certain type of energon that would also repair and renew what the virus had destroyed.
Cobalt's only hope sat in that warehouse.
