Cobalt lifted his head from Shocksurge and bounded toward Eclipse who was still hiding behind the container. "It's alright," chided Cobalt as he showed his face so that Eclipse knew it was him.

"Daddy," she yelped as she surged toward him and pushed her head into his chest.

Cobalt licked her cheek affectionately and tried to hold her as close to him as he could. He felt her spark beating a mile a minute and only want to assure her that everything was going to be alright. He curled his tail around her and rested a paw on her shoulder.

"It's alright," he kept repeating in her ear. "Everything is alright now."

"Where's Shocksurge," asked Eclipse as she looked around madly for her. She hadn't seen the murder so that was probably better.

Cobalt hung his head. "She's with your mother now," he confessed as gently as possible.

"Will I ever see her again," inquired Eclipse as she tilted her head in confusion.

Cobalt smiled before he picked her up by the scruff and began carrying her toward the direction of the warehouse. "One day you will. One day we will all see her again."
