Cobalt sat back on his haunches, watching Eclipse struggle as she tried to walk. She had managed a few steps before she fell harshly on her face. However she always hauled herself to her paws and tried again even though she would fall again. He would always be there to catch her when she needed him.

"How is she doing," asked Optimus as he lumbered forward before he kneeled and peered down on Eclipse. She hauled herself to her paws, whimpering since she still couldn't talk and took a step before she toppled over once more.

"Pretty good," Cobalt barked as he watched his daughter try to walk again. "She's growing everyday and I couldn't be more proud of her."

"I'm glad," murmured Optimus as he watched Eclipse try again to walk before falling. "She's certainly persistent."

Cobalt nodded vigorously. "Certainly! Just like her mother." He hung his head and shuffled his paws. "I just wish that she could have lived to see her daughter become the Autobot she could be proud of."

"She already was proud of her," assured Optimus as he looked back toward Eclipse who was still trying to walk.

Cobalt nodded and was about to say something when he heard something in his frequency. He realized it was Lumber wanting to meet with him. His ears flicked and he shook himself a bit.

"What's wrong," asked Optimus as he looked at Cobalt, his optics flickering a bit.

"I just got a message from Lumber," he confessed as his spark leaped in his chest. "He wants me to meet him at the border line."

"I don't think you should go. I believe it's a trap," advised Optimus as he straightened.

Cobalt shuffled his servos in discomfort. "I know that we're not supposed to socialize with Decepticons but he's my brother and I care about him and I like to think he cares about me. He would never do anything to harm me."

"Are you sure about that," asked Optimus and Cobalt lashed his tail. He knew that he shouldn't go but Lumber was sparkbrother and he couldn't not see what he needed.

He looked up at his leader and dipped his head. "I understand what you're saying but I have to go." He swiveled his head to look at Eclipse who took a step and fell, her muzzle colliding with the ground harshly. "Can you watch after Eclipse?"

Optimus sighed and Cobalt could tell that he was reluctant but he wasn't about to refuse. "Fine, you have less than a cycle of the moon."

Cobalt dipped his head. "It will take no longer, I promise," he vowed as he waved his tail. He bounded to Eclipse's side and licked her cheek affectionately. "Love you. Now be good for Optimus." He turned my head and smiled. "Thanks Prime."

He then turned and bounded out of the warehouse, ready to meet his brother.
