When It All Began
"Okay, now that all of our agenda have been completed you are all dismissed," Sir Keith said as he stood up," Goodbye, class."
"Goodbye and thank you,Sir Keith," We stood up and quickly fixed our things after sir left the room.
"Do we have any assignments, Emma?" Ryan asked as he placed his books in his bag.
"I was about to ask you that," I laughed and so did he.
"Thanks, anyway. I'll just ask our classmates on the group chat," he smiled.
"Fill me in once you find out," I grinned," Goodbye, dude!"
"You're a cleaner. Aren't you going to clean?"
"Nope!" I chuckled and ran away. I didn't really care about cleaning, though. I mean, who does that? I'm actually a class officer but I am sure our moderator wouldn't mind. I continued walking down the stairs. I passed by the school's lobby and saw my friends sitting on the stairs which was 2 steps only by the way, near the lobby.
"Hello, bishes!" I grinned and waved.
"Sup," Adrienne shrugged.
"Where's Andrea?" I asked, looking around.
"She already went home to get ready for the sleepover," Zackeisha said while removing her earphones.
"Let's go to tutor now?" Nicole suggested and we all nodded and they got up and we started walking to the tutorial center.
"God, Math is giving me a hard time," Adrienne blurted.
"I fricking know, right?" Zackeisha nodded.
"Two-column proof is going to be the death of me," I sighed.
"The death of us, you mean," Nicole said while putting on a dramatic face.
"Let's just finish early for the sleepover," Zackeisha said.
We crossed the road to our tutorial center which was right beside a convenience store. Convenient right? Ha, get it? Okay, I suck. Punch me all you want, I know. We went inside and placed our bags.
"Hey, Sir Jim!" We greeted and got out then went straight to the convenience store. I got myself some chocolate, vanilla-filled cubes with fresh milk. I went to the counter and the rest of my friends just bought chips.
"You guys have any homework?" I asked as we sat down on stone benches. I am silently celebrating because I do not have homework and that I am enjoying this delicious food I have in my mouth.
"Nope," Adrienne said while popping the p.
"Lucky ass. Sadly, we have homework," Zackeisha grumbled. "Which reminds me, Nicole!" She grinned mischievously.
"Right, right. I'll help you," she laughed as she rolled her eyes.
"It's 4:45, let's go?" I suggested.
"Sure," Adrienne said and they nodded.
Tutor passed by and it was already 6:50. I swear, my head was throbbing because of the worksheets our tutor gave. I let out a sigh and started fixing my stuff. I looked at our work table and noticed Zackeisha and Adrienne still on it. "You okay, Zack?"
"Yeah, I guess," she said with a tired tone. "I just have to answer this last question and I'm done."
I looked at Adrienne and she took it as a cue to speak,"I'm helping her, don't worry."
"Or you guys are just talking about Undertale?"
"Nope, we aren't." She raised her hands in defense.
"Okay, just make sure you answer it before our ride arrives."
"Yes, Goat Mom," she nodded and focused back on the paper.
"Man, this story is messed up," Nicole said. What? I looked at her and saw her reading a book.
"What's messed up?" I raised a brow.
"The girl in this story, Amy. She's messed up," she said nonchalantly.
"What's the story anyway?"
"Gone Girl."
"Oh," I mouthed an O. I sat down on an arm chair which was away from them. I took my time and let my head rest on my hand.
"You guys done now?" I said loud enough for them to hear.
"Yep. Chill your tits, woman," Zackeisha said as she passed her paper then prepared her stuff.
Now everyone is done, we can finally go to my house and play games and shiz. All we need now is my dad to pick us up.
As if one cue, my dad appeared. He tapped the window that separated me and him. He waved at me and I waved back and gave him a goofy grin. "Let's go, guys. Dad's here!" I picked up my bag and walked out. My phone suddenly made a gun shot noise, which means there is a message. I quickly pulled it off from my handbag and oh, it's from Andrea.
From: Andrea
7:00
WHERE ARE YOU GUYS?!! I am here in your house, btw. Your helper serves awesome food, hehe. :3
To: Andrea
7:01
We are on the way. Make yourself comfortable but not too much. >______>
"Andrea's already at my house," I announced. They were right behind me since I guided them to my car. I stopped walking and they suddenly bumped into me. I turned around and they were focused on their phones. "Ouch. What the heck guys?" I frowned.
"Sorry," Nicole said.
My dad was just beside the pick-up truck and he pressed his keys and it made a, 'woot-woot'-like sound. "You can go in now," he smiled.
I went to the co-pilot's seat. Hell yeah, I called it co-pilot! They just stared at me.
"Well? Get in. I'm not opening the doors for you guys, again. What am I, your maid?" I rolled my eyes.
They laughed and went inside. The three of them squeezed at the back seats. What made it harder was their bulging bags, probably filled with clothes, school stuff and God know's what stuff. I turned on the radio and it suddenly played Centuries by Fall Out Boy.
Some legends are told
Some turn to dust or to gold
But you will remember me
Remember me for Centuries
"But you will remember meeeeee," we sang out. "Remember me for Centurieeeees." Then we all started laughing.
"Wait, hold up guys. My mom's calling me," Nicole said. Adrienne, Zackeisha and I smirked. I turned off the Radio.
"Hello, mom?"
"GET READY TO PARTY!" Zackeisha said like she was a DJ.
"WOO! LET THE BEAT DROP!" Adrienne said while thrusting her hands in the air.
"TUG TUG TUG," I repeated as if I were the music.
Nicole gave us a frown and we laughed. "I'll call you later, m–"
"WHERE ARE WE GOING TO HIDE THE BODY?" I said in a panicky tone.
"OH MY GOD, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO WITH IT?" Adrienne screeched.
"LET'S BURN IT!" Zackeisha announced.
"Shut up!" Nicole grumbled. "Wait, no mom! I didn't– It wasn't for you!" She panicked and we laughed. "Sorry, mom. I swear it wasn't for you," she sighed." K'bye. Love you," she put down her phone and growled at us.
"Wow, really funny. Ha ha, it is so funny I forgot to laugh," she glared at us. We all knew it was sarcasm.
"Sorry, Nicole," Zackeisha snickered. "You should've seen your face!" She laughed while clutching on her stomach.
"We're here, Emma," my dad smiled.
"Get your stuff humans," I said as I picked up my bag and left. I went inside my house and petted my dogs. Mocha and Piolo who were wagging their tails and jumping on me. I let out a huge smile. These dogs always make me happy. My human friends followed me and petted my dogs too. My dogs were so used on seeing them, they probably got bored on chasing and attempting to bite them. When I reached the living room I saw Andrea chilling in the sofa. When she saw us she frowned. "What took you guys so long?"
"Math," we said in unison and laughed.
"Fine, let's start."
We all went to my room. My room wasn't that big but it fit all of us. They placed their stuff near the bed and wore their pajamas. They took turns and I was last. I wore my blue, teddy bear designed pajamas and my oversized gray shirt which I got from a Math thing in school.
"Let's start," I grinned and we went in front of my computer and placed 5 chairs; 3 chairs on the front and 2 chairs on the back. I sat on the left chair on the front. Nicole on the middle and Zackeisha on the right. Adrienne on the left while Andrea on the right. I turned on my computer and clicked Outlast, and signed in to Steam. Then we read something in the game: enjoy. We all laughed. Sarcasm in a whole new level!
"Change the gamma please," Adrienne said.
"Sure," and then this barrel and variant dude appeared on the screen. I didn't listen to the instruction though and turned the gamma in the middle.
"Thanks."
"Okay, as planned–shoot!" I screamed as thunder roared. It took me by surprised.
"Well, that wasn't expected," Zackeisha snickered.
"Shut up," I chuckled.
"Well, start the game, Nic," Andrea said to Nicole.
"Right. I'm just nervous," as she was about to click the mouse lightning flashed and my computer's light flashed. Fuck, my head hurts.
I opened my eyes and suddenly I was driving a car. What's going on?
I looked around and saw my friends waking up while groaning.
"Shit, where are we?" Nicole cursed.
"Guys, this seems oddly familiar," Adrienne commented.
"Hey, there's a folder in my seat," Nicole announced. "A video-cam and extra batteries too."
"Shit," Zackeisha cursed.
"Guys, look!" I exclaimed while pointing at a sign.
"Mount Massive Asylum," Andrea read.
"Oh my fuck," I pulled the breaks and we all looked at each other as realization dawned us.
"We're inside the fucking game," Adrienne said with eyes wide open.
So, how was the first chapter? Boring? Well, I think it will be better in the next chapters ;). Thanks for reading!
Oh and by the way, I'll be editing from time to time. I won't wait for the story to finish because I think I won't be able to finish this story. So yeah *awkward laugh*.
