"I graduated just recently."

"Wow, nice. Did you attend prom then?"

"Who did you go with?"

"A very sexy friend of mine."

"Sure, like you have any friends."

"No need to get jealous, Janette. I just went with a bunch of guy friends. It was fun."

"I'm not jealous."

"Sure, keep telling yourself that."

"Okay, we're getting off track here. Look, I'm saying is that you've been here for almost two weeks now. I feel like you've put your life on pause just to be here."

"Am I right?"

"No, it's not like that, Jane... It's just that... I want to be here."

"I know. And I want you to be here too. But I don't want you to put everything on hold just for me. Please, go back. We'll keep in touch and you can come visit me too after a while."
