She checked his account again that night. It had been several hours. It hadn't even been a single day and Jane was already feeling so lonely. It was ridiculous wasn't it?

Feeling this way over someone who she'd just met a few months ago. And she hadn't even seen him. They'd only texted each other.

What if he wasn't really the person he claimed to be? What if he lied to her and never really liked her in the first place? What if he wasn't even a guy or worse, he was a much much older guy in his forties or something?

Jane ran her fingers through her hair. Her head hurt and there were tear stains on her cheeks. For some reason, there was a part of her that refused to believe that all of it was just a lie.

It couldn't be a lie. There was definitely a connection and no one could tell her otherwise. It couldn't be a lie.

Charlie wouldn't lie to her...

And yet, he just disappeared...

Why?

And now, of all times? This happened at the worst time possible.

She wanted to tell him. And he wasn't there for her when she needed him the most. She needed him now, more than ever.
