"so, uh, what's the emergency? why'd you have me bring all my gear?" demetri questioned, his tech gear packed in a bag and slung around his shoulder.

he, mickey, robby, miguel and eli were standing outside the apartment complex where johnny, miguel and gioia lived at. sam had texted the group chat and told them all to meet her there, yet she hadn't arrived.

"you know just as much as we do." miguel shrugged. "sam just told us to meet here."

"at least she's talking to you." robby sighed. "i can't get a response from—"

tory and sam walked into the apartment complex side by side. "tory?" eli questioned in complete shock.

"what's, uh what's up?" miguel asked, extremely confused at the new duo. "hi."

while mickey was fascinated. "hello, girls."

"hey."

"what happened to your hand?" robby was staring at her wrapped-up hand with concern on his face. tory immediately pulled her sleeve down. "uh, training accident." but robby didn't look too convinced. "i'm okay." she reassured him.

"we think we have a way to prove that it was silver who assaulted stingray." sam explained. "if the attack happened at the old dojo, then it would've been after silver installed security cameras." tory said to them.

"so maybe it's all caught on tape." miguel added, understanding their plan.

"ah no, but that place was cleaned out." robby reminded them.

"yeah that might not matter." demetri chimed in. "the systems that we sell at techtown all save the footage to a central server. when silver moved out he probably took the whole system with him."

"i think he did." tory spoke. "there's a server in his office at the flagship dojo."

"if we get to access it, we can definitely find that footage. we even could post that stingray clip to their youtube channel." eli explained.

"show everyone who he truly is." mickey nodded. "maybe it'll help his students get rid of their brainwash."

"okay. get ahold of everyone else." sam ordered. "let them know that we're taking down cobra kai tonight."

"yeah well... we can't do it without gioia." mickey spoke up, her eyes on apartment number 105.

"wait, she's been in her house this whole time?" miguel questioned. "why didn't we get her?"

"eli was too scared." mickey revealed, making him groan that she had exposed him.

"well what are we waiting for? let's go get her." sam ordered, taking charge of the whole situation and making her way over to the door. she knocked and they waited. a barbusca opened the door, but it wasn't the one they had hoped.

"freddy? aren't you supposed to be out with our parents?" robby asked him.

fred leaned against the doorframe. "oh, hey kids. yeah, but i'm cutting down on the alcohol these days. and i've got a pretty early shift tomorrow." he smiled at them, and his eyes landed on tory. "wow... i haven't seen you in like a year."

"yeah. good to see you too, mr b." tory nodded.

"so... what's up?" fred asked them, wondering what exactly they were doing on his doorstep so late at night.

"we're taking cobra kai down, tonight." sam said.

"we were hoping gioia would come with us?" eli explained. "so everything she's done wouldn't be for nothing."

fred gave him a look and the boy instantly knew that he was aware of what he had said to gioia at the party. "mhm." his eyes glossed over the boy and he faced miguel "she's just in the shower."

"how long has she been?"

fred thought for a second as he yawned. "not sure, i've been asleep. but i'm pretty sure she got in before i went down, so maybe since about half nine?"

"that was nearly an hour ago!"

they pushed themselves into the house as fred stood there in shock. the seven made their way over to the girl's bedroom to see it was in a complete mess. mickey and eli made eye contact, this was not a good sign. miguel knocked on the bathroom door but received no response. he knocked again but there was still silence.

"hold on guys, i'll check." mickey announced and all the boys took a step back. "gioia, i'm coming in." she waited for a while before unlocking the bathroom door. there she saw gioia sitting in the bathtub, fully clothed. her injured hand was leaning out of the side as her head was up, facing towards the ceiling.

"holy shit!"

sam's hand flew to her mouth. "oh my God?"

"what?" demetri asked, growing extremely nervous. "can we look?"

"yeah, yeah." mickey nodded. she drew up the sleeves of her jumper, rushed over to the bathtub and pulled out the drain plug.

the four boys turned around, their jaw's slacking in shock at the sight. miguel rushed forward, dropping down to the ground beside her. he tapped her face gently, trying to wake her up.

once about half the water was down the drain, gioia began to groan out. her eyes fluttered open to see the seven staring at her. "wh—what are you guys doing here?"

"hey, what happened?" miguel asked her softly. her eyes were red and she had noticeable eye bags, he knew she hadn't slept.

"i'm sorry." she shook her head. "i fell asleep."

"why were you taking a bath... with your clothes on?" demetri asked her with confusion.

"gioia you could've easily slipped in and—" robby cut himself off, not even wanting to think of the possibility.

"it's okay. it was an accident." she said. "i'm fine. it w-was an accident." gioia repeated.

eli moved to the heater towel rack and pulled out a towel, before stepping over to her. miguel gave him a nod, shifting out of his way and back to the other four. "are you okay?" he asked her, taking a good look at her. he saw her hand was wrapped up. "what happened to your hand?"

his words caught robby by surprise. he peeked into the room again to see gioia with a matching injury as his ex-girlfriend. the boy's eyes travelled to tory, as if he was going to say something to her, but she just looked away.

"training accident." gioia spoke, almost robotically. they all thought the same thing. two girls from cobra kai had a fresh injury in their hands that they called a 'training accident'. it wasn't right at all.

"come on." eli wrapped the towel around her body and helped her out of the bathtub.

mickey stepped over to her wardrobe and pulled out an oversized shirt, some wide-legged blue jeans and a pair of socks for the girl to put on. she handed it to gioia and stepped out of the bathroom.

gioia shut the door behind her and everyone turned to tory. "what was that about?" eli was the first to speak, his voice hushed so she wouldn't hear them talk.

"i don't know." tory said, guilt overloading her. "i wasn't there."

"you weren't there? but you guys have the exact same injury." miguel pointed out.

"i know, but it's not as bad as it looks." tory shrugged.

gioia opened the bathroom door, her hair thrown into a high bun, towel-dried but still damp. she had changed into the dry outfit, but she looked exhausted. "what's the plan?"

"we're going to cobra kai's dojo." sam explained, "i'll text everyone to met us." gioia glanced over to tory at the mention of the dojo name, a confused look on her face. but tory simply gave her a nod, telling her it was okay.

"you okay, kid?" fred asked his daughter, now leaning against her bedroom door frame. he took in the cluster of the room and how small it looked with everyone inside.

"yeah." gioia said.

"alright. you guys need a ride?" fred offered. "half of you can ride with me." he turned to his daughter's boyfriend. "moskowitz, i hope you brought your car."

"yes, sir." eli nodded with fear, making demetri and mickey snicker.

"thank you mr barbusca." sam gave him a grateful look. "let's go."

"if it's the same alarm system he installed in the last place, i should be able to bypass it." robby explained.

the group had driven over to cobra kai's flagship dojo. gioia was in her dad's car with the three other girls. tory and fred spent the whole ride catching up, robby had already confided in him about their relationship so he wasn't surprised when tory didn't mention it. while they spoke, gioia sat in silence looking out of the window.

"spoken like a man that's done this before." demetri remarked.

"yeah well karate wasn't my first hobby." robby smirked. "i fractured a law or two before we met."

"or we could just scan my key card." tory stepped forward. "so that those of us on probation keep from... you know, violating it." she joked.

"what's happening folks?" eli greeted their friends who had just arrived.

"what's up, man? sorry we're late." chris apologised, glaring at his friend. "someone took forever to get ready."

"it's the middle of the night." mitch remarked before he detected tory's presence. "what is she doing here?" he asked with disgust.

"it's fine. she's with us." sam spoke in defence of the girl. "for what we're about to do at least."

"so what are we doing?" mitch asked. "all your text says is that we're gonna take down cobra kai. but like... how exactly?"

"gonna show them who their sensei is." miguel stated. "we think we have proof he's a criminal."

"we're going upstairs to silver's office. we need you downstairs as lookout." sam ordered.

they waved goodbye to their driver and friends before they stepped into the dojo. gioia and tory led them up to terry silver's office as the other six trailed behind them.

"hey, you okay?" eli asked, catching up to his girlfriend.

"yeah, i'm okay." she nodded, "you?"

"uh, yeah."

"this is awkward..." demetri muttered.

"shut up." mickey groaned.

"okay, pulling the clip off the server is first day of computer camp shit." eli explained, taking leadership. "got it?"

"yeah." demetri nodded, handing him the usb sticks to him.

the boy inserted all of the devices and set up the monitors. gioia sat on the edge of the desk, observing him work away. she had completely forgotten he was an ex-computer geek and she found it fascinating to watch. "we just upload the clip to the youtube channel, and cobra kai is out of business for good." eli concluded.

"okay." demetri sighed, taking a seat at the desk. "stingray's assault happened the morning after prom."

"any idea how to disconnect one of these?" tory questioned, staring up at the camera on the wall.

"yeah." robby nodded. he leapt up and dragged the camera down.

"i can't believe it's happening." tory spoke, stepping back over to the monitor. "we're really gonna take silver down."

"yeah. what could go wrong?" robby asked.

"see everytime they say that in a movie, something goes wrong." mickey said. "you've cursed us now, keene."

"hey... i'm sorry." robby frowned.

"okay... i got it!" demetri exclaimed, playing the video.

they all leaned in closely to watch it. silver stood in front of stingray with a smirk on his face. "you wanna be cobra kai. oh. so you wanna be cobra kai, huh?" the image began to distort and demetri frowned.

"sh—shit!" he groaned, pressing many different keys to make it continue.

"what happened?" tory questioned.

"that's all there is!" demetri exclaimed. "the rest of it's been erased!"

"well t-this is just great." gioia sighed in annoyance.

robby rolled his eyes. "silver covered his tracks."

"of course he did."

"okay. so-so what now?" miguel asked.

"i think there might be other footages we can use." tory spoke up.

"you wouldn't know the dates and times would you?" eli asked her. tory glanced over to gioia, and the girl gave her a nod of approval. so she stepped forward, typing in the date and times.

"okay. i think i got it." eli nodded, as two different tabs popped up on the screen. "are these the clips?"

"yeah, they're the one."

"guys!" chris's voice yelled out from downstairs.

"what are you doing here?" a voice yelled.

"we'll go check it out." sam told the two. "you guys stay here. we need that footage."

gioia quickly sat up from the table and began to walk behind the four. "hey!" eli called out, making her turn around. "don't you think it'd be better if you stayed up here? because of your injury and all."

"uh, no. i'm okay thanks." gioia nodded before exiting the office.

"nice try, brother." demetri shook his head.

they rushed downstairs to see kenny booting anthony onto the ground, while a large group of cobra kai students stood behind him. sam rushed over to her brother and helped him onto his feet.

"so you're both with them now?" devon glared at the two blonde girls.

"you knew what would happen if him and his friends ever stepped into this dojo again." kenny barked.

"wait, how'd they know we were here?" sam questioned.

"i don't know." miguel mumbled.

kyler and kenny shared a comical look. "mitch, come on, get your ass over here where you belong." kyler chuckled. the boy walked over to the other side, standing with the members of cobra kai. he smirked as he slowly zipped down his hoodie.

gioia scoffed when he exposed his cobra kai t-shirt. "wow, real cute shirt. you've been waiting for this grand reveal, haven't you?"

"the only grand reveal here is you switching sides, again." kyler spoke at her.

"yeah... okay." she shrugged.

"penis breath, how could you?" bert frowned with betrayal.

"gee i don't know." mitch scoffed. "maybe cause they don't call me penis breath. you know you guys have been so dead set on taking down cobra kai. and i didn't even wanna leave in the first place."

"uh, you didn't leave. you were embarrassingly kicked out by kreese." gioia reminded him.

"shut up!" he snapped, making her just grin. "i mean, look around. they got snacks, swag, smoothies. our dojo doesn't even have a roof. or, like, barely any chicks. no offence, sam." he glared at the blonde girl. "you too i guess."

"you guess?" gioia crossed her arms.

"all right. penis breath, shut up." kyler silenced him, making gioia scoff. "we got a spy, y'all got a spy, so that cancels out. but you've also got a traitor, which makes it unequal, meaning we have to throw down. let's go!"

"i'm not a traitor." tory shook her head. "i'm just not buying what silver is selling. and neither should any of you."

"silver lied." robby added. "to all of us."

"us? what us?" kenny exclaimed in robby's face. "the only person who lied to me is you."

"hey." miguel stepped in front of robby, his voice was calm but threatening. "robby's right. you don't wanna do this."

"yeah, i do." kenny shrugged.

gioia took miguel's place before the boy could raise his arm for the punch. "you sure about that?" she challenged, making kenny hesitate. the boy paused before he shook his head, throwing a punch her way. gioia swiftly moved her to the side before ducking down. she swept kicked him off of his feet and the second he landed on the ground, his team sprang into action.
