Day 1: Mother gave me this little notebook so I could write my thoughts in it.
She said that these weird settpers dropped it and so now it's mine!
I love mother so much, she's so pretty! She likes to sing and dance, and she lets me help her pick fruits and hunt with the tribe!
I like it here!
No one picks on me and I'm safe as long as I'm with mother. Mother says that these settpers are from some weird place called Engrand. I don't really know how to spell it...
Oh! I haven't introduced myself, I'm Virginia! I have a twin brother but I haven't met him yet, mother says I will soon though!
The settpers do really weird things! They build large weird boxes out of wood and basically starve to death! I feel bad for them.
I saw this one man with these really really really big eyebrows.
He was talking to the air, I thought he was crazy! So I threw a rock at him. He chased me and I cried, I was so scared!
He was yelling weird words at me I had never heard before! He had a little boy with him then too. He had blue eyes and dirty yellow hair. He had some weird moon thing sticking out of his forehead.
I don't think I like him, he's too quiet.
Well anyway! That's my day so far!!!

I smiled running out of my hut, to see 6 strange men outside talking to mother.
Who are those people? I wondered to myself I hid behind a pot to listen to what they were saying. I'm really good at listening to what people are saying when I'm really not supposed to.
"Yes I see then, you may have some of this land, but the land is for everyone to share equally."

I peeked out from my log to see the same man with the really, really, really, really big eyebrows as before! He had the little boy with him again, he was a little older then me by the looks of him.
Maybe he'd like to play with me and the animals sometime?
They started talking again so I started listening.

"Yes of corse love. May I meet the young lady?"
Young what?
Mother nodded. "Yes, I'm sure she'd be glad. She's very friendly. Victoria, could you please come here!?"

Shoot... Busted, if I come out they'll know I was listening! I'll stay right here then.
So I hid right where I was.
Mother had a confused look on her face, I would always come to her when she said my name.
"Victoria?"
I'm going to get in so much trouble...
"Hm... That's strange. I wonder where she could be?" Mother said, walking around stopping at the big pot.
"Maybe she's behind here?"

I've gotta think something, fast!

"U-um, no! This is not Victoria, this is a magic pot!" I blurted out, nervous.
"Oh really?" She said playfully, her arms crossed.
"Yes! I'm the magic pot goddess, guardian of the hundred stars! I grant three wishes to those who leave me alone and don't come near the pot!"

"Victoria my little bird, I know your there."
"I-I'm not Victoria!"
"Lying won't help you out of trouble to easdropping little bird."
I sighed walking out from the pot.
"I'm sorry..." I apologized, looking down at the ground. My toes on the bare earth.
"I know you are. But right now I want you to meet a very good friend of mine." She picked me up and carried me over to the bushy eyebrows man.
He looked slightly surprised when he saw me.
He remembers me! Oh no!

"Victoria. This is my new friend Arthur. Arthur is a country."
"A country. Nice."
"Nice to meet you love. I'm Arthur, otherwise known as great Britain. Pleasure." He greeted. "And this is Alfred. He's a new country." He gestured to the little boy.
"Hello! My name is Alfred and I'm your older brother!" Mother set me down so I could be at his level.

"Wait. I thought I already had a little twin brother, do I have an older brother too mama?" I asked craning my neck to see mother.
She nodded. "Yes you do, you're one of his colonies. A part of this country." Arthur explained.

"This is going to be so cool! We can go on adventures and play knight and dragon together!"
I yawned, I was still tired from earlier, I didn't get any sleep last night since we had a ceremony in the tribe.
"Yeah, that's great... Can I go to sleep now?"
"I'm afraid not love, but you can go to sleep after we've brought you home."
"Home? But I am at home." I corrected him.
"I'm afraid now love." He laughed, "we'll be taking you to your new home."
"W-what?"
"You'll be going to live with Alfred and Arthur from now on." Mother explained.
I felt tears form in my eyes. "But I don't wanna' go... What about all the animals? I don't want to leave my friends, or little rock, or you, or the tribe. I don't want to go!" I sniffled, starting to break down.

"I know you don't want to go..." Mother began kneeling down in front of me. "But you have to... If you don't go then you can't learn new things. How can you ever explore the world if you stay here?"
"I can explore it with you!"
She shook her head, "not now you can't."
"Common love, it's time to go." Arthur said, reaching out to grab my hand.
"I don't want to leave! I'm not leaving!" I cried  running and hugging Mother tightly.
She sighed softly. "Oh Victoria my precious flower... There's not much more I can teach you, you're going to have to go out on your own.
We'll see each other again."
"W-we will?"
"Yes we will. Don't cry child..." She hushed, wiping away my tears.
"It's time to go." She said, taking me off her and placing me besides Alfred.

"Well then we're off. Thank you love." Arthur said goodbye before heading off.
"Come along Alfred and Victoria."
"Ok!" Alfred called back, grabbing my hand and dragging me with him, literally.
I could tell that this would be super exhausting...
