Chapter Ten

Ground Level
Violets POV:

Violet sat on the couch with a cookie in her talons. She sat on the couch with Cumulus and watched as she drew things she liked. She noticed that Cumulus liked to draw scavengers, and she drew them really well. She even drew the small clothes they had on. She drew her small drawings with a small stick she called a pencil. She looked over and saw Aerial teaching Sól how to get Sizzle to say a new word. Which was a bit difficult with how she kept saying words other than what Sól was trying to teach her. She smiled as Cumulus showed her more drawings. This time the scavengers here were different. They had different clothes on. Instead they had mossy clothes with large leaves covering their legs. They looked a bit raggy. The ones on Serrene were a bit more advanced than the ones here. The ones in Bianor looked to be scared of the dragons here. She took a bite of her cookie. It was a bit warm and they were soft with chocolate chips in them. Violet looked at Cumulus and at the radio. "Have you ever heard anything about the Queen?". She asked Cumulus as she stared at the radio. The only thing she heard from it was bits of static. Cumulus looked at her a bit confused about her question. "Sometimes we do, But it's only when she decides to make announcements. We don't really know when she does, She sometimes just announces it on the radio since almost everyone has one". Cumulus told her while looking at the radio a bit annoyed. She leaned forward from the couch and she turned the dials a bit. The radio sputtered a few words before Cumulus stopped at a soft spoken voice. "Hello?, I'm unsure if this is working but, My fellow Orbitwings, I have learned that there are some new dragons that have appeared on this island of ours. If... you have them in your custody I would like to have a small chat with them. T-Thank you my fellow Orbitwings for listening. You may continue listening to what you were listening to". The voice on the radio told them. Cumulus looked at her shocked and amazed. She looked at Aerial. "Mommy did you hear that!, That was Queen Flicker!, She made an announcement!". Cumulus told Aerial excitedly. Wow, I didn't expect her to actually announce something when I said that. I wonder who the Queen wants to see. Cumulus thought as she looked at Aerial. Aerial looked at the radio a bit shocked. What?, But how did she know?, Did someone tell her about them?, Who could've her about them. It must've been someone close to the Queen. But I don't know anyone close to the Queen. Aerial thought while she looked at the radio. Aerial looked at Sól as he looked at Sizzle. "Can you say brother?, Say brother please?". Sól said as he looked at Sizzle. She looked at him and smiled innocently. "B-bro-brother!, brother!,brother!". Sizzle said happily as she jumped in a small circle. Sól looked at Sizzle and she almost saw tears in his eyes. He looked at Aerial happily. Sunslight!, Did she hear that!, she finally said that!, Oh Suns, I thought that it couldn't get better. I'll have to keep an eye on who is near her from now on. Sól thought as he looked at Sizzle softly. Aerial had looked at Sól and smiled. "She did!, That's amazing!, Try teaching her some more words". Aerial told Sól as she went into another room. She wondered what she was doing. She stayed in the room with the rest of the group. She heard Lavender laugh a bit as she looked at Sól. "Hahaha!, Do you want me t-to teach h-her more words?, Hahaha!". Lavender laughed softly as she covered her mouth with her talon. Sól looked at her and put his talons in front of Sizzle. She laughed a bit as she saw Aerial walk into the room. Aerial looked around for a moment before laughing softly as she held one of her own cookies in her talon. "What are all of you dragonets laughing about?, What's so funny?". Aerial said as she walked into the room. Did I miss something?. I what happened while I notified them. Maybe one of these dragonets made a funny joke and I missed it. Aerial thought as she walked into the room. Mist looked at Aerial as she stopped laughing. "Lav-Lavender told Sól that s-she would teach-teach Sizzle more b-bad words, Hehehe". Mist told Aerial as she laughed a bit. That was really funny. I wonder if Lavender will tell more funny jokes. Mist thought as she looked at Lavender. She did have many questions. Number One, Why did Kiran hand them over to Altitude and Aerial?. Violet understood that he was underprepared, but why not just lead them straight to the Queen if the Queen wants to see them. Number Two, Who was coming to get them and why?. Finally number Three, Why was an entire tribe of dragons living in the sky?. How did they get there?. And why were they here in the first place?. Were dragons after them so they hid?. If dragons were after them, the sky was a very good place to hide. She didn't know if this tribe had Animus magic, which was a very good thing if they did. They could go to the Queen and ask her to lower the island and the other prophecy was solved. She didn't know what would happen after the prophecy. She hoped that good things would happen. She started wondering what happen if the Queen denied their offer. Would the Seamwings still have a better future. She closed her eyes as she thought. White flashed in her vision. She saw a large marble castle which looked to be a Light Purple. It looked like one of Kirans painting. White flashed in her vision. She saw a large dragon on a throne with them in front of the dragon. The dragon seemed to be flying somewhere. She could see something in the distance. White flashed. There were dragons at Altitudes door. They were saying something but she couldn't hear them. The vision ended and she opened her eyes. She looked at Drizzle. I'm guessing she had a vision. I wonder what she saw..., I hope it was good. Maybe she saw something important. If it was important she would tell us... wouldn't she? Drizzle thought as she looked at him. Violet looked away from Drizzle and she looked back at Cumulus, she was typing something on the thing she called a typewriter. She was typing about the journey of a scavenger who got lost but they went on adventures. Cumulus spoiled what she was writing and said that it was just the scavengers dream. Hmmmm, What should I add now?, I already have the types of adventures I want in my head but I don't know what to put here.... I'll come back to it later. Cumulus thought as she got off of the couch and went into the kitchen. She wondered what else Cumulus had written. She had gotten off the couch to follow Cumulus until she heard a knock at the door. She looked at Aerial and Altitude. Were those the guards that she saw in her vision?. Were they here to escort them?. Altitude walked over to the door and opened it, standing in the doorway were two dragons. They were wearing armor plates on their shoulders, chest and legs. They both seemed to be the same color but she noticed that one of them was Purple. They had helmets on their heads. One of them was a Dark Azure Blue and the other was a Deep Green with small spots of an Amber color. She couldn't see their faces but she could see their eyes. The Deep Azure Blue one had Brown eyes and the Green one had Blue eyes. The Green one had a scroll in his talon, he unrolled the scroll and began to read out loud. "I, Queen Flicker, have requested that Coal and Stormcould, Take the dragonets to visit me. I would like to have a small chat with them, If that is alright with the residents of this household". The Green dragon put the scroll away in a pouch on his arm. The azure Blue dragon looked at Altitude and Aerial. Altitude looked back in the living room. "Yes, I think it is alright!, Violet, Drizzle, Sól, Mist and Lavender!, Some.. guards are here to take you to the Queen". Altitude said as he looked back at the guards. Violet got up and Cumulus looked at her. "Whoa!~, You're going to see the Queen!, Tell her I said hi, Oh! And take this too!". Cumulus said as she handed her folded piece of paper. Violet took the piece of paper and and she put it in the pouch she had on her chest. She noticed that her pouch was mostly empty, she had thrown out all of the bad food, which was most of the food. She put it in the pouch as she walked towards the door. She saw the guards waiting for them. Sól was busy putting Sizzle into the sling on his chest. She saw the rest of the group follow her out onto the porch. She had carefully laid the sling down and Drizzle carefully got into it. The guards looked at her a bit weary and they lifted off into the sky. Violet and Mist lifted the sling with Drizzle into the sky and followed the guards. I wonder why they have to carry the pink one?. I know he's injured but why can't he fly?. Hmmmm, maybe he has a wing deformity. Oh well, I guess I'll never know, I wonder what Queen Flicker is doing right now. The Green one thought as they flew. She could see a large castle in the distance, it was a Light Purple fading into a pearly White at the top. She could feel her wings getting a bit tired as they reached the castle. Violet landed a few feet in front of the castle with the group as the guards landed. The Green guard flicked his tail in a motion for them to follow him. Violet let Drizzle out of the sling and they followed the guards. They stopped at some large doors and the guard pulled open the doors. They let the dragonets walk in first and she saw the guards follow them from behind. She heard the doors close with a loud thump and she walked forwards. They looked to be in a large ballroom. In front of them was another double door. There were two empty hallways on either side. The guards opened the door in front of them and they stayed behind this time. She looked in front of her and she saw a dragon on a throne. The Queen seemed to be staring at them with all four of her eyes. Wait a minute..., Four?! These dragons only have two eyes?. Violet thought as she looked at the Queen. Queen Flicker was a deep Purple and her underbelly was an even darker Purple. She had Orange eyes and light Purple wing membranes. The Queen also had light Purplish Gray sail membranes. She looked at the Queen and she bowed respectfully. The others did the same and they rose. The Queen started to speak as they rose. "You dragonets are... Interesting, tell me.. How did you get here, and.. Why did you come here?". Queen Flicker asked them. Violet was a bit nervous. She looked at the Queen and she spoke. "W-we got here through a portal and we came here because... we need you to bring the island down, I-if you don't the tribe might keep fighting!". Violet told the Queen Flicker. She could see Queen Flicker get worried. Queen Flicker looked really worried as she looked at her. "T-The tribes are fighting!.....hmmmm, Alright I'll lower the island. Stormcloud can you remove the gem from its place?, Do it slowly please". Queen Flicker asked Stormcloud. The azure Blue dragon came onto the room. He went into a room to the right of the Queen. She heard a small ping and she felt strange. She could almost feel the island going downwards but she couldn't at the same time. It felt like a really slow elevator. She could barely feel if the island was going down or not. Violet didn't know how long it would take. They were above the clouds after all. She looked at Queen Flicker. "How long will it take for the island to go into the ocean?, not in a bad way?". Violet asked Queen Flicker. Queen Flicker looked at her and thought. I never thought about that. Well..... I think it takes about two hours to get down from where we are. Maybe if we go a bit faster we could get there in less than two hours, that sounds good. Queen Flicker thought as she looked at Stormcloud and nodded. He went into the room and she could now feel the island moving. It was like an elevator now, she stayed in place. Everyone else's mind was scattered all over the place. This feels weird..., I don't like it, I don't like it, I don't like it, I don't like it at all. When will this end!. Sól's mind thought as he looked at Sizzle. This feels just like the elevator but... somehow calmer..., I think I like this better than the elevator. This is quite calming. Mist thought as she looked around. She could feel as it got easier to breathe. I wonder what the other Orbitwings think about this... do they feel it to?. I wonder if they do, maybe. Drizzle thought as he looked at Violet. He smiled at her and she smiled back at him. She sat down as she waited. Violet didn't know what it would feel like when the island hit the ocean. She wondered if the Orbitwings could tell if the island was moving. They probably could. Violet has been waiting for about an hour. They all had waited an hour. She suddenly felt the island slow down even more until she felt it stop completely. She looked at the Queen. "Are we in the ocean now?". She asked Queen Flicker as she looked around. Queen Flicker looked at her with her four eyes. Queen Flicker motioned for the dragonets to follow her. They walked out of the room and turned to the left. She led them up a spiral staircase and onto a balcony. As they walked onto the balcony they could see that the island was touching the water. She looked at the rest of the group and she smiled. "I think the prophecy is over, we can all go home now. But first I want to see someone". Violet told them. She could tell everyone was relieved. They all went down the spiral staircase and out of the castle. They heard radio static and Queen Flickers voice. "Attention fellow Orbitwings!, I would like to announce that we have reached ground level. Constellation Elementary and Zodiac High you may resume classes. I will repeat that we have officially reached ground level. We are at peace with other dragons now, You may resume whatever you were doing". Queen Flicker announced over the radio. The announcement seemed to be coming from the City of Stars. The group nodded and she let Drizzle into the sling. Violet and Sól lifted the sling. Sól looked at her. "Where are we going?, To Queen Arachnie I guess?". Sól asked her. Violet nodded to him and they flew towards the forest. They flew towards the forest until their wings were tired. The group had finally made it to the beginning of the forest. They were going to go into the forest but she already saw Queen Arachnie waiting for them. Queen Arachnie looked at them happily, she walked towards them. "I was worried about you dragonets!, Did you get the lost continent down from the sky?". Queen Arachnie asked them softly. She looked at them with the four of her eyes and sighed. It was a sigh of relief. "Yes, we got the lost continent down from the sky. The continents name is Bianor!". Violet told Queen Arachnie happily. Queen Arachnie smiled. "I'm glad that you six didn't get hurt while you were up there. I hope your wound heals well....". Queen Arachnie told the group while she looked at Drizzle. "My name is Drizzle, The grumpy one next to me is Sól Lavender is next to him, Violet is beside me  and Mist is next to Lavender. Sizzle is the little one that is attached to Sól's chest by that sling". Queen Arachnie nodded as she looked at all of them. Her expression changed into one of realization and sadness. "Does this mean you have to leave now?. If it does, I hope you all have a nice trip home". Queen Arachnie them. Mist looked away and so did Violet. Violet looked at Queen Arachnie. She nodded and looked Northeast. "Yes, It does mean we have to go home. I hope you tell the other tribes you're not extinct. How long will it take for Drizzles wound to heal?". Violet asked Queen Arachnie. Tangle came out of nowhere and went to Queen Arachnies right side. "I think it will take about Three months for your wound to heal..., You didn't glide down, did you?". Tangle asked Drizzle a bit sternly. Drizzle looked at Tangle, proud of himself. "Nope!, Not at all!, The island got us down. It was like a really long.... elevator". Drizzle told Tangle. Tangle nodded as he looked at them. "I hope you have a nice trip home..., Be safe alright?". Tangle told them. Violet nodded and everyone said their goodbyes. Violet laid the sling out for Drizzle and he got in. Mist had grabbed the other side of the sling. They waved as they lifted off, Violet felt like she was forgetting something. As they were flying they had landed at the small island to rest. She felt a sense of familiarity with the island. Violet had suddenly remembered as she heard a familiar voice spoke in her head. Hello?, Are you there?. Violet almost jumped a bit as the voice spoke to her. Helpful!, you're back, I... didn't forget the promise. We'll get you out. She told him as she looked at the group. She sighed silently. "While we're all here, I have something else to tell you guys. No, it's not a bad thing. But a dragon is... trapped inside of the island. I don't know how he got there but I promised to get him out once we finished the prophecy..". Violet told the group. Mist looked a bit shocked and Drizzle looked a bit confused. How are we going to get the dragon out of the island if he's in the island?. Maybe we can melt the ground?. Sól thought as Sizzle peaked out of the sling. "I don't know how we'll get him out but we should all try our best to get him out". Drizzle said confidently. Sól and Lavender looked at each other and shrugged. Mist started looking at the ground and started to dig a hole in the grass. "I-if we dig-dig a hole here we-we might b-be able to get him o-out". Mist told them. Violet agreed and they started to help Mist dig the hole. I can hear... dragons digging?, Is that you and your friend?. Helpful asked her. Yes, it is, we're getting you out!. She told Helpful as they continued to dig. They continued to dig and soon hit solid rock. She saw Sól's horn light up with sparks and hit the rocks. She could see the rocks slowly cave inwards. I can hear something hitting the rocks.., I think I can get out if you make the hole a bit bigger. Helpful told her. Violet looked at Sól and Lavender. "He said that he can get out if you guys make the hole bigger". She told Sól and Lavender. They nodded and Lavender began to breath her fire. She looked into the hole and she could see the rock caving in faster. She could almost see scales through the small they were making. She could see the hole in the rock getting bigger. Violet could now feel the ground shaking beneath her. She thought it was an earthquake and the others backed away from the hole. She saw the ground lift upwards and break away revealing a dragon. He was pretty tall. Helpful had Dark Grey scales and a darker underbelly. Helpful had Blue eyes and deep Blue horns. Violet gasped softly as she saw Helpful stand on all four of his feet. He looked around for a moment before he looked at Violet. "You're the one that helped me escape!, Thank you!, All of you!". Helpful told them. He looked around before walking a bit. "Where are you dragonets going?. Maybe you could take me with you?". Helpful told them. I get to see my grandson!. I wonder how he's ruling, I hope he's treating the tribe the right. Helpful thought as he looked at her. "I guess we could, Where do you need to go?". Lavender asked Helpful. He looked at her and walked forwards a bit. "I need to go to the Boulderwing kingdom. I know you might pass there while taking that one home". Helpful told them while he pointed to Sól. Sól looked a bit offended as he looked at Helpful. Violet realized something strange about Helpful. He had small stars scattered across his wings. There weren't many stars, just small ones here and there. He didn't have the moons like she did. Helpful also had small teardrop scales by his eyes. She agreed to take Helpful to the Boulderwings. As she put Drizzle into the hammock. She saw Lavender grab the other side of the hammock. They lifted off into the sky and they went towards the Boulderwing kingdom. When they got closer to the Boulderwing kingdom. Helpful looked happy. He started to fly ahead of them and went towards a large tower that had small spikes on it. He looked back at her and the group as he dived down towards the ground. Violet and Lavender followed Helpful as he landed on the ground. The others followed as they let Drizzle out of the hammock. She had never been inside of the Boulderwings palace. Helpful opened the large wooden doors and let them inside. They walked inside and saw a large rectangular table with many chairs. The chairs had small red cushions with small blue jewels embedded into them. There wasn't anyone there except for a few dragons who were sweeping the floor. The dragons looked at them for a moment before going back to sweeping. They walked past the table and went into a hallway lit by torches. They saw two hallways on either side. The palace  was really echoey. Helpful looked for a bit before looking at them. "If I remember correctly, the throne room is to the left". Helpful told them as he began to walk to the left. The hallway echoed with his voice. Violet nodded slowly and she followed him. She knew something was strange about him. How could Helpful know where the throne room is after twenty years?. Maybe he lived here before he got trapped. She didn't know how he where he was going, but she kept following him. Why are we following him in?. This place is nice but I just want to go home!. I wonder if I could fly home myself... I won't. Maybe she'll let me go by myself once we reach the Solarwing kingdom. Sól thought as they walked through the hallway. Drizzle began walking to her right side. His mind was a lot louder than before. I wonder if he's going the right way. How old is he?. Isn't he hungry?. How is he alive?. Drizzle thought as he walked next to her. They turned right and reached a room. The first thing she noticed when she walked into the room was how nice it was from the room. The throne room was made of Marble and it had small streaks of Gold in it. She could tell that some of the gold had been taken out of the wall and replaced with Pyrite. She could see Fossil sitting on top of a Calcite throne, he looked at her and smiled. "Hello, Have you dragonets come to report something?. Did one of my Boulderwings say something rude to you?. I will punish them if they did!". King Fossil told Violet as she looked at him. She nodded as she looked at Helpful. "No, my friend Helpful here just wanted to come here since it was his home before he got trapped in an island". She told King Fossil as she looked at Helpful for a bit. Helpful looked at Fossil and nodded. "That's...a strange name for a dragon. I remember a dragon in Emerald Pillar that was called Sand. He was a strange Solarwing". Fossil said as he looked at Helpful. Helpful smiled softly as he looked at Fossil. "Oh no!, my name isn't Helpful!. Is that what you've been calling me?... My actual name is Boulder". Boulder said as he looked at King Fossil.

King Fossil looked a bit confused. He then looked a bit shocked as he looked at Boulder. "Wait...., Y-you're Boulder?. You're actually him?. I thought you were.... Dead". King Fossil said to Boulder as Boulder moved forwards. Boulder seemed a bit confused as he stepped towards King Fossil. "You know me?. I know that you're my grandson... or my great grandson, but!, Who told you about me?. Was it Bronze?". Boulder said as he went next to King Fossil. King Fossil seemed even more confused and a bit more shocked. "Who told you about him?. Did you know him?". King Fossil asked Boulder. Boulder looked down at the ground a bit and he sighed. King Fossil got down from his throne and went over to the desk. The desk had paperwork on it. The paperwork seemed to be important. King Fossil picked some of it up and placed it back down onto the desk. Boulder walked over to King Fossil. "I... did know your father... because I was his father. Maybe if... you don't mind I could.. help you with this paperwork. You know?, get your mind off of it?". Boulder told King Fossil as he looked at Violet. She looked at Boulder before she looked back at the tunnel. "Don't worry about me!. Take the others home, if you will. Don't forget to feed yourselves!". Boulder told them from down the hallway as they walked out the hallway. They exited the hallway and they were back at the large Dining room. They exited through the large double doors and they rested their wings for a bit. Violet saw Lavender look around for a bit. For some strange reason her mind was fuzzy and there was only a slight buzzing sound coming from her. She saw Drizzle get into the sling. Mist grabbed the other side and they flew towards the Solarwing kingdom. She could feel the heat before she could see the sand. They flew through the sand and past the oasis. They could see a bunch of houses neatly aligned in rows. Some of the house were spread across the sand. She could see dragons laying on their roofs with their wings spread. They seemed happy. Sól started looking around and he dove down to a house. They carefully landed with Drizzle in front of Sól's house. Drizzle stayed in the sling and she walked towards the door. Violet saw Sól knock on the door twice. She heard talonsteps come towards the door and the door opened revealing Sól's mother. Sól's mother gasped softly before hugging Sól softly. "Sól!, you're back!, I thought you had hurt yourself!, Don't ever... disappear on random prophecies ever again young dragonet!. Come inside, keep yourself warm. Oh my Suns!. Did your sibling hatch?!". Violet heard Sól's mom say as she closed the door. She was about to turn away when the door opened again. "Thank you for bringing him back, would you like some pie?". Sól's mom told her. Such a kind dragonet. I hope she comes over again sometime. Sól's mother thought. She nodded and she went back to Drizzle in the hammock. He looked at her and smiled at her. She smiled back at him and Mist picked up the sling. They started flying towards the Galaxywing island. "D-does this mean-mean that we're splitting u-up?, Do you-you think w-we'll see eachother-er again?". Mist asked Violet as they flew to the small island near the Solarwing kingdom. She nodded to Mist. She knew they would. They still had school together and they would probably graduate soon. They soon landed on the island and let Drizzle out of the sling. She couldn't see the sun setting but she knew that it was about to. After a few minutes their wings had rested enough. Violet had let Drizzle into the sling and they flew over to the Galaxywing island. The Galaxywing island was still very far away. She remembered when she first flew to the Galaxywing island. It was very exhausting. Her wings felt like they could fall off and she wouldn't notice. They had finally reached the Galaxywing island. She could feel the cold grass beneath her talons as they reached the island. Mist looked at her and smiled. "I g-guess i'll see-see you later". Mist told them as she breathed her gas in a circle. The gas glowed and sparkled before she could see the inside of a house. From what she could see there was a Golden bed frame that was made with wood. She could see a small cabinet next to it with a small flower pot. The flowers were roses and they were quite well kept. Violet watched as Mist stepped into her room and waved to them. I hope he's waiting for me. I'm glad to be home. Mist thought as the portal closed. The group waved to Mist as the portal closed. Lavender looked at Violet and she looked around. "I think I know what we can do now. We can go to the Moonwings kingdom and drop you two off there. Then I can fly home from there. Trust me, I know my way home". Lavender told them as she grabbed the other end of the sling. Her mind was still blank and Violet was confused. She could read her mind when they were at the continent why couldn't she read it now?. Violet thought as she grabbed the other end of the sling. They started flying towards the Moonwings territory. It was a long flight to the Moonwings territory. She could soon see the tall rocks of the Moonwings territory spiraling upwards. She could feel herself getting tired as she reached the Moonwings territory. Even though she flew to Emerald pillar everyday, this was a whole new record for her. She carefully landed at the entrance of their home. Violet watched as King Starwatcher walked out of the conference room. She saw him look at her and he walked towards her slowly. "Violet!, You're back!... Are these the dragonets that were with you during the prophecy?". King Starwatcher asked her as Drizzle stepped out of the sling. She nodded as Drizzle stepped towards her. She could see King Starwatcher glance at Drizzle before looking at Lavender. "Yes, these are the dragons that came with me during the prophecy. I also... had a.. request". Violet told King Starwatcher. King Starwatcher looked at her and then back at Lavender. "Is there a reason why she came along?. What type of request do you have?". King Starwatcher asked her as he kept glaring at Drizzle. Violet nodded and looked at Lavender. "Lavender helped me carry Drizzle here in the sling and...., I was wondering if.. Drizzle could live with us for a while..". Violet told King Starwatcher as she looked at Drizzle. He thought for a moment. If Drizzle stays here... Some other dragons could suspect kidnapping or some other dragons might know him... He can't glide because of that strange bandage on him... I think he will be a good addition to them... Maybe-. King Starwatchers thoughts were cut off as the protective shield boxed around his thoughts. He looked at her and nodded. "I think he can stay..., if he tries anything his head will be on a mantle in the conference room". King Starwatcher told Violet while glaring at Drizzle. He stepped away slowly as he looked at Lavender. Lavender looked at Violet and poked her with her tail. "I... have something to give you". Lavender told her as she reached into a pouch on her chest. Lavenders mind was blank and she couldn't hear anything from it. Violet watched as she pulled a rock out of her pouch. The rock was black in color and it had small holes in it. It seemed to be a lightweight rock. Lavender held the rock out to her. "This might help with your mind reading..., you're welcome". Lavender told her as she took the rock. As soon as Violet took the rock everything had gone silent. She couldn't hear anyone's thoughts. She could only hear her own thoughts now. She smiled a bit as she looked at King Starwatcher. She couldn't hear anyone's thoughts. Violet was happy as she held the rock. She looked at Lavender and smiled at her. "Thank you Lavender, I-I don't know how to thank you!. Is a hug okay?". She asked Lavender as she held onto the rock. Lavender looked at her and nodded. She stepped towards Lavender and hugged her. Lavender hugged her back as she held the rock. "I'll see you later". Lavender said as she flew out of the entrance to the Moonwings territory. Violet looked at the ground where Lavender once stood and she saw a second rock. She guessed that it was for Drizzle if she lost hers. She handed the rock to him and he held onto it. She looked at King Starwatcher. "Which cave did my family move into?, Do you know?". Violet asked King Starwatcher as he turned into the conference room. "Of course I know which cave they're in, Did you not expect me to know?. Follow me". King Starwatcher told her as she followed him into the conference room. Violet hadn't really been into the conference room before. She heard of the story of when King Starwatcher had yelled at Darkthought. King Starwatcher must've been really mad. The conference room was a bit organized with a map on the far left of the room. There was a table in the shape of an oval and it was nicely polished with a few papers on it. There were a few chairs with small cushions that were Purple with small gems in them. The gems that were placed into the chairs seemed to be Amethyst. She could also see different mantles with different horn types on them. King Starwatcher led her to a filling cabinet that was labeled. Two of the labels read, Caves and Organization and DWC, which meant Dragons with caves. King Starwatcher opened the file cabinet which read Caves and Organization. He started flicking through the papers. Violet could feel him get angry as he looked through the cabinet. King Starwatcher closed the cabinet and opened the next one. She heard him mumble some curses as he looked through DWC. He carefully looked through the cabinet and he plucked out an Orange folder with her parents names on it. He opened the folder and showed it to Violet and Drizzle. The file had a few pieces of paper in it along with a purple colored piece of paper. She looked at King Starwatcher. "What's the Purple paper for?". Violet asked King Starwatcher as she read the paper. The paper had information on it which read, Darkthought and Dawn, met about eight or nine years ago. Number of occupants: Five. Relatives: Mother: Dawn, Father: Darkthought, Daughter: Dark Sunset, Daughter: Violet, Daughter: Midnight, Aunt: Fatefinder. Cave number: Forty seven. All children go to Emerald Pillar. One of them will have to make up work in her free time. Notes: recently moved to a new cave with more space. Bought some scrolls. Need to get Violet caught up with schoolwork. Meetings at the Parent teacher conference soon. Violet handed the paper back to King Starwatcher when Drizzle finished reading it. He closed the folder and put the folder back into the file cabinet. King Starwatcher looked at her. "The Purple paper is so that you can stay after some classes and make up most of the work that you've missed. Each tribe has a different paper, ours is Purple". King Starwatcher told her as he handed her the paper. Violet put the paper in her pouch gently. King Starwatcher looked at Drizzle and back at her. "Who will bring him to your cave?. He can't glide with that bandage on him". King Starwatcher told her. Another dragon came into the room. She was a Dark Grey with a light Grey underbelly. She had Brown eyes with the stars on her wings looking like a question mark. She looked at Violet and Drizzle for a moment before looking at King Starwatcher. "Who are they?, Do you need any help dear?". The dragon asked him. Violet watched as King Starwatcher blushed a bit. "N-not at the moment no..., Maybe you could help Violet carry Drizzle in the sling to her cave". King Starwatcher told her. She looked at the dragon and realized that it was Queen Mindseer. Violet had been told by her mom that she had met Queen Mindseer when she was little. Violet couldn't remember it that well. She looked at Queen Mindseer and nodded. "Do you know where cave Forty Seven is?. We need to go there, please". Violet told Queen Mindseer. Queen Mindseer looked at Violet and she nodded. "Of course I know where cave forty seven is!. Starwatcher wouldn't let me forget where the caves were if I was sleeping!". Queen Mindseer told Violet as Drizzle got into the sling. Violet and Queen Mindseer left the conference room and flew out of the exit while holding Drizzle in the sling. Queen Mindseer looked around for a moment before looking at one of the caves and flying towards it. "Ah, It seems that my memory is a bit fuzzy, Cave forty seven is a few feet in front of us!". Queen Mindseer told Violet as they flew towards the cave. She could see leaf curtains in front of all of the caves they flew by. They landed at cave forty seven and waited until Drizzle got out of the sling. She could see some tree bark glued to the outside with tree sap. She could hear someone walk near the leaf curtain. The curtain was pulled back by her mom. Her mom immediately pulled her into a hug. "Violet!, You're back!, I was wondering when you would come home!. Have you eaten?, Are you hungry?....Who's that?". Dawn asked Violet as she stared at Drizzle. Violet felt her mom let go of the hug as she looked at Drizzle. "He's... a good friend of mine and.. he has nowhere to go so... he'll stay with us for a while". Violet told Dawn as she saw her mom let her inside. She walked inside of the cave and Drizzle followed her inside. She could see the sun setting behind her. The cave was large. The entrance had a small hallway which led into a large circle room. The circle room held a medium sized couch which was a Grey Purple color. There were Three rooms with doors covering their entrances. She guessed that those rooms were hers and her sisters rooms. She saw a hallway leading straight which she guessed led to her parents room. She could see a doorway going from the right side of the living room, she knew it was a kitchen. She could see her two sisters run from their room and hug her. They had hugged her tightly and then moved away from her. They were asking her many questions. Dark Sunset was the one asking the most questions. She was sure if Dark Sunset asked any more questions she would pass out. Dark Sunset caught her breath and looked at Violet and Drizzle. "Did you see any cool dragons?..., Did you get something cool for Windrunner like you promised?!". Dark Sunset asked her excitedly as she looked at her. Violet nodded and she pulled out the Yellow flower. It was a bit wrinkled and it seemed to be dying. She handed the flower to Dark Sunset. "I hope it's not too bad, maybe Windrunner can fix it". Violet told Dark Sunset as she looked at the flower. Midnight had looked at her room and went in it. Dark Sunset looked at the flower for a moment before sighing dramatically. "Oh no!. That poor flower!. Windrunner can definitely fix it!. I'll give it to her right now!". Dark Sunset said as she raced to the leaf curtain covering their cave. Dawn stopped Dark Sunset with her wing and looked at her a bit sternly. "Where do you think you're going at eight thirty two at night?". Dawn asked Dark Sunset sternly as she saw Darkthought come out of the hallway. He lookedat Violet and smiled at her. She smiled back at him. "I'm going to give this flower to Windrunner so it doesn't die!". Dark Sunset told Dawn as she stood in the doorway. Dawn looked at the sun dial on the ceiling. "Alright but be quick, you know how Darkthought gets...". Dawn told Dark Sunset as she saw her fly out of the cave quickly. Darkthought looked at Dawn and at the leaf curtain. "Where did she go off to?, Was it a boys house?". Darkthought asked Dawn as he eyed the leaf curtain covering the cave. Dawn looked at Darkthought and sighed softly. "No, She went to give Windrunner a flower so the flower didn't die". Dawn told Darkthought as she walked towards Violet. Drizzle was standing behind her. "Where will Drizzle sleep?, if he sleeps in your room don't try anything". Dawn told Violet as she looked at Drizzle. She blushed a bit as she looked at her mom. "Wha!-, Mom no!, w-we would never do that...". She stuttered to her mom. Her mom smiled at her softly as her and Darkthought went down the hallway. "I know you wouldn't, get some sleep or you'll be tired". Dawn told Violet as she saw Dark Sunset come into the cave through the leaf curtain. She looked at Dark Sunset and looked at the rooms. "What took you so long and which room is mine?". Violet asked Dark Sunset as she walked to the first leaf curtained room. "The one in the middle is yours!. We didn't really know if you like scrolls but we have some to you!. I think you'll like them!". Dark Sunset told her as she entered her room and closed the curtain. Violet nodded and went into her room, Drizzle followed behind her. Violet looked around her room and she saw a wooden bed in the left corner. There was a chest in front of it with random things in it. One of the things was a bug trapped in amber. The bug inside the amber was a colorful spider. She didn't know what type it was, all she knew was that it was a colorful spider. She saw that there were shelves on the walls and she put the spider jar on the shelf. She noticed a small bean bag in the corner of her room. She saw that there was a small bedside table near her her bed and there was a note. The note read, We gave these scrolls to you in case you got bored and wanted to read something. We didn't know if you would like them but I think they're cool. Most of these scrolls are fantasy and fiction stories, Love Dark Sunset and Midnight. She could tell it was mostly written by Dark Sunset because of her talonwriting. Dark Sunsets talonwritng was a bit messy and Midnights was neater. The ending was written by Midnight because she wrote with fewer words. Violet could see Drizzle peaking over her shoulder. He laughed a bit. "That's a nice note, they must really love you...". She could tell that he wanted to say something else but he stopped himself. She smiled at him. "They do love me and so no my parents". She told Drizzle as she laid down in her bed. There were about three blankets on her bed. Violet gave one of the blankets to Drizzle. She heard him drag the bean bag over to where he wanted to sleep, which was right in the middle of the floor. She looked at Drizzle and smiled softly. "Goodnight Drizzle, Hope you have a good sleep". She told Drizzle as she laid down in her bed. Her bed was comfortable. "Goodnight Violet, you too". Drizzle told her as he covered himself with the blanket.

Violet awoke the next day and she was happy to see Drizzle still laying on the floor. She didn't know if he was a heavy sleeper or not so she let him sleep. The next few months were a bit hard. Violet had eventually made up the work she missed and so did the rest of the group. She learned that Aithria had learned a way to contact Serrene through letters. From what she knew there was a letter from all of the tribes that led Serrene know they existed. The letter told them which path to take and that they were always welcome there. The letter from Aithria read, Hello Distant Kingdoms, or whatever you call yourself. We have contacted you to let you know that other tribes exist. We also know about the dragonets that came here to fulfill a prophecy. The tribe that sent you this are called Seamwings. If you would like to know more about our tribe, you can reserve a trip and learn more at one of our museums. If you do have a phone you can contact us at ***********, If you don't you can fly over like we mentioned earlier. From, Queen Arachnie. Violet knew what a phone was but she knew they didn't have them at Serrene. She knew that she was happy and she then told her family about and Drizzle being together. Dark Sunset and Midnight were happy for her. Dawn was also happy but she a bit disappointed that she didn't tell her earlier. Darkthought was happy but he threatened Drizzle by telling him, "If I see a single scratch on her, your head won't be the only thing that comes off of your body". Dawn has told Darkthought to threaten guests and from there life was normal. They had gone to school and there were no more cryptic prophecies. Violet was happy and so was everyone else. She learned that the Seamwings told everyone that they weren't extinct by sending a letter to each tribe. The Orbitwings also accepted visitors and the Moltenwings eventually found a new home. This was the future. She would would make sure that it would stay that way. This was her beginning. Violets Beginning.
