Chapter Eight

A New Moon
Violets POV:

Her and Drizzle were slowly walking through the trees and taking in every plant that was there. Most of the plants were unfamiliar to her. Drizzle was also curious but he seemed nervous about something. Instead of asking what was wrong she read his mind. This is a nice walk. Should I ask her? We are in the middle of a walk, would that be to weird?, to ask her now? I wonder what she would say?. Would she accept, am I to nervous?. She went out of his mind and blinked. What did he mean by asking her something?. Was it bad or good?. She decided to ask him what was wrong in case something was bothering him. She looked at him and saw that he was trying to climb a tree. "Why are you climbing the tree?, Is there something you see?". She asked him. He looked back and almost fell off the tree. "I think I found a deformed coconut". He told her. She looked up at him and flew up the tree. There in the tree was a bean although it looked strange she felt something was off with the plant. She felt dizzy looking at it. She flew down to the ground and white flashed in her vision. It showed Drizzle eating the strange plant. White came into her view. It was Drizzle again but this time laying in a bed somehow unable to move. White flashed again. There was a large stone sticking out of the ground. White flashed a final time before showing them in the forest laughing as if nothing happened. She blinked and and felt tears in the corner of her eyes. Would Drizzle be in danger if he ate the plant?. She felt her mouth move before she could think. "STOP!, D-don't eat it...". She shouted at him. She watched as he flinched and looked at her. "Why?, did you see something?... oh". She watched as he got down from the tree and walked towards her. "Whatever you saw won't happen now, Because I didn't eat the deformed coconut". He reassured her. She smiled at him, still calling the plant a deformed coconut. They kept walking for a while and stopped to look at some flowers. One of them was Red and Green and it grew from a stem. "This flower kind of looks like a lobster claw but except it smells nicer". He said. Drizzle also explained to her what a lobster was, It was this Red creature that had three pairs of five legs with bigger claws in the front to grab food. He told her that when they were cooked they would turn a bright Red and could be eaten. She told him that it was interesting how lobsters could be eaten. They had begun talking about all the cool plants they had noticed and soon the sun was about to set. "We should get back Acid might start to worry". She said as she turned around with Drizzle following behind her. I think now would be the time to tell her. If I don't, How will I know if she does. All right here goes nothing. She shook her head reminding herself to stay out of other dragons' minds. She felt butterflies gather in her stomach. It reminded her of her sister Midnight because every time she said that Midnight would respond with, "Well there could be butterflies in your stomach because they would only be caterpillars". Then Midnight would ramble on about how it wasn't scientifically possible to have butterflies in your stomach. A little while later she felt Drizzle tap on her shoulder. She looked at him and saw his pink scales glowing in the sunlight. "Violet... I have something to tell you". He told her almost messing up his words. Three moons I have to tell her if something happens on this journey. Also because of... certain things. She felt blush creep across her face. She didn't know what he was going to say next so she stayed silent. She heard him breathe and he began speaking again. "I.....I like you!, I was wondering if you would like to be my girlfriend?". He quickly told her. She felt her face heat up even more. Was this what it was like to love someone?. Yes, yes it was and she was going to make it stay that way. "Yes!, I-I will!". She responded while laughing through her words. He hugged her and the hug felt like it lasted forever. They had gone back into the house and realized that Acid was standing in the hallway by the door with a disapproving look on her face. "Where have you two been?, It is now past sunset at 8:35 and you both were supposed to come back about two hours ago!". Acid scolded them for the next two whole minutes about being responsible and making sure to come back on time. When she was done she told them to go upstairs and get some rest.

She shot her eyes open and saw darkness. At first she thought she was with Void dragon but she wasn't. She could feel hard sharp points around herself. If she tried to move, the sharp points would cut her. She couldn't move wherever she was because she would move without telling her body to. She realized that this wasn't her body, It was someone else's but whose?. She wanted to breathe a fume of fire but this wasn't her body, she couldn't move it by herself. Suddenly she blinked and she could see. She guessed this dragon had night vision wherever they were. She saw moss was growing on the stone below her. She could feel a draft of air coming through. She guessed this was how the dragon who was trapped breathed. She tried thinking of any dragons that she had spoken to who were trapped. She thought for a while. Her eyes widened in realization. She knew who this was now. It was _______. She couldn't remember their name. She didn't know if they had a name. She felt the ground crumble beneath her. She didn't know why but this time she tried catching herself with her wings. She found herself opening her eyes again but this time she could see a bit better. She could see that the place was all jagged rocks. She could move but she could only move her head. She was trapped in place by something. She looked at her wings and she was trapped by vines. The vines were wrapped tightly around her and she was stuck in mid flight. She couldn't move and she was still stuck. She summoned the stingers from her wrists and tried cutting the vines around her. She looked around and realized that they weren't vines, they were roots. She tries moving her wrists to cut the the roots. It wouldn't work. She sighed and hoped she wouldn't have to burn anything again. But now was the time, she had to get free. She called upon the fire within her and breathed the flames. They lit up the surrounding area and she could see that the roots were a deep brown with yellow flowers on them. The fire burned through them and hit the stone wall. She was glad that they burned through but it now meant she could burn through these roots without feeling bad. Silly dragonet... You think burning me is going to stop me? I will take OVER THIS ENTIRE CONTINENT AND SOON I WILL BE UNSTOPPABLE!. Something spoke in her mind. What are you?, Are you the Plant or another mind reader?. She asked whatever was speaking in her mind. She wondered if she would ever get out of the roots and escape. She wondered if she would ever see Drizzle again. If she would see her friends again, Her sisters, Her Mother and Father, everyone she cared about. She didn't even know if this was a dream anymore. It was a dream, she realized. She turned those What If thoughts into she would thoughts. She imagined herself flying free out of wherever she was. She slowly felt the roots slip off of her. She started flexing her wings and flew upwards until she saw a light so bright that she had to close her eyes. She kept flying though. The light eventually faded until she could open her eyes. She opened her eyes and saw that she was on a tree branch. She was looking out upon something. She had to blink again to make sure she was seeing things correctly. Violet saw bridges of silk connecting trees together and some dragonets were coming out of a large building with books and carrying bags of things. She saw some of them come out of the large building with smiles on their faces. She couldn't read the words on the building but that didn't matter. She didn't know what this was but it was beautiful. She realized that the dragonets were all Dark Grey, Light Grey and some of them had different colors. She knew what this was now, this was the future and she would make sure that happened. She opened her eyes and looked around. She was in the spare room with the Olive green walls and the two hammocks. She saw that Drizzle was awake along with Lavender. "Good morning Drizzle". She said to him. "Good morning". He said back while earning the same mumbled Good morning from Lavender while she walked out of the door. White flashed in her vision. A cloud was floating in the sky but it wasn't moving. White flashed in her sight. There was a dragon but it looked like the one from her dream. It had more than two wings and it was Dark Purple. White flashed again. The sky was Red and the group was standing by the start of the forest. White flashed a final time before showing her a thing with circles and letters on the circles. The vision before her ended and she was laying on a cushion with Drizzle beside her. He tilted his head sideways. "Did you see something?, Was it bad?. He asked her. "I-I did, But it was weird?, There was a cloud... and then a dragon but it wasn't a dragon?, The weirdest thing was that the sky was Red and we were standing by the forest's edge and-and there was this thing that had circles with letters on it". She told him while stuttering. Drizzle nodded then put a webbed talon to his chin. I read that if a vision for a Moonwing repeats it will be very close to happening, but I can't ask her, would that be disrespectful to ask a Moonwing about their visions. I don't think so. Doesn't Mrs. Duskmender have visions whilst in the middle of teaching? Should I ask her? If I don't ask her she could get stressed. She listened to his thoughts for a while before shaking her head a bit and reminding herself. She looked out of the window and saw that some dragons were flying through the sky with their dragonets. Some of them were small and Gray while some of them were larger and Dark Gray. She hoped that she could grant them the future she saw in her dream. She felt Drizzle tap on her shoulder. "Has the vision happened before?, Or has it just now happened?". He asked her. She looked at the hammock where Sól was sleeping. "It's happened before, It happened two days ago". She told him. He nodded and asked her if she knew the specifics of the visions. She nodded. "The first half of the vision starts with a cloud in the sky that won't move and then it shows a dragon but it has more than two wings, It shows me the sky but for some reason the sky is Red but the last part changed. The first time it showed me the moon and the other time it showed me the circles with letters on them". She told him. He put his webbed talon to his chin and thought again. If this kept going on for two whole days then it could possibly mean that it's going to happen soon, but when?. She couldn't possibly know when it's going to happen, could she?. If she did that would be useful, but I don't think visions would work like that. I should've listened in Science class. That would be helpful. While he was thinking she got up and went to the window. This time she saw fewer dragons. The dragons that were out were spinning something that seemed to be glowing and putting it in glass balls. They looked at the sky every few minutes and seemed worried about the same thing Acid seemed worried about. She remembered that Acid had mentioned something about a Moon festival. Violet wondered if the Moon festival was like what the Moonwings had back on Serrene. She didn't know how the Moon festival worked in Aithria. She figured she would have to ask Acid about it if she was awake. She turned around and looked at the sun dial. The time on the sun dial read 8:43 which meant that someone must be awake. "I'm going to ask Acid a question, I'll be right back". She told Drizzle who looked at her and nodded. She opened the oak brown door that seemed to have darker spots on it. The door knob was a silver color with a few scratch marks on it. That meant someone really small must have tried to open it. She was confused but she went outside of the room and went to Acid's doorway. The door to her room was a faded White. There were also small scratch marks on her doorknob as well. She started wondering why there were scratch marks on the doorknobs. She noticed that above the sign that Acid had on her door there was a small hole above the sign. How had she not noticed that before?. She looked at the crack beneath the door. There was a light beneath the door. She wondered if the light was always on or if the light had a way to be turned off. She knocked on the door and heard shuffling behind the door. Another sound came from behind the door, it was from a dragonet. Violet knew it was Sizzle, Sizzle had started making small sounds that sounded like words. "Onf eve, eep, Eep!". The dragonet protested from behind the door. "It's ok little one I'll come back, besides what if it's important?". Acid told the dragonet. The shuffling had gotten closer and it eventually stopped once it was behind the door. The doorknob turned and the door opened with Acid standing in the doorway. "Hello Violet, Is there anything you need?, Would you like breakfast?". She asked her. "No thank you, but I have a question". She said to Acid. Acid tilted her head. "What's the question?". Acid asked her. "You mentioned something about a Moon festival and said it was in two days, which would be tomorrow, What is the Moon festival?". Violet asked her. Acid looked at her then looked around her. "Dear, I never said that out loud?, How do you know about that?". She asked her. Oh no. She thought. How am I supposed to tell her I'm a mind reader and that I can see the future. Well it was going to happen eventually and I can't keep secrets forever. She took a deep breath and sighed. "I... have something to tell you all... I want to gather everyone in the kitchen to tell them". She told Acid. Acid got a worried look on her face. Is everything alright? Did something happen? How am I supposed to explain the Moon festival to her?. Acid sighed and turned around to get Sizzle. "Eep?, you eff eep?". Sizzle asked her. Acid picked her up and she started squirming. "EEP!, ne no uant up". Sizzle cried. Acid carried her down the stairs and she went back to the room. She opened the door to see Mist and Drizzle talking. Mist looked at her and back at Drizzle. "So-so have you gu-guys gone somewhere spe-special yet?". Mist asked her. She looked at Drizzle and her face turned red. Drizzles did too but to her it looked Pink. "I-I want everyone to come downstairs. I have something important to tell you all". She said looking at Mist. Mist looked at her and back at Drizzle again. It was obvious she knew what was going on between them. She started shaking her head no and Mist gave her a thumbs up. Drizzle started waking Lavender up while Mist started waking up Sól. She walked out of the room and went down the stairs. In the kitchen Acid was sitting with Sizzle who was eating mashed up apples with cinnamon again but seemed to enjoy it. She watched as Mist came down the stairs along with Drizzle, Sól and Lavender. They all looked at her and sat down at the table. Acid served them the pancakes again and they were surprisingly still warm. "What did you have to tell us that was sooo important that you had to wake up?". Sól asked her while eating a piece of his pancake. "I've been hiding something from you all and I thought you all should know". She said while biting into a pancake. Lavender and Sól both looked at her. Acid started spinning silk out of her wrists and made something. They looked to be earplugs and she put them into Sizzles ears. Sizzle didn't seem to notice. She's been hiding something from us? What has she hidden from us? Is it a bad thing? What if she's been an Animus this whole time and hasn't told us?. She kept out of Lavenders mind. She easily slipped into into Sól's mind. She's been hiding stuff from us!, How long has she hidden her secret?!. How many secrets does she have?. One?, Multiple?, I guess we'll find out. She slipped out of Sól's mind. It was hard to try to not read minds, it was like walking into a conversation you didn't know about. She took another bite of her pancake. "I-I can see the future a-and read minds". She said quietly. Sól shot up out of chair. "You LIED!, You said that you could only see the future and nothing else and just now you sit us down and tell us!". He yelled at her. Lavender looked at him and tapped him with her tail. She could see flames rising on his back and they slowly went down his tail. He got up out of his chair and went towards the door. "I'm going to take a walk, I'll be back". Sól said as he almost slammed the door. Lavender sighed. "I can't believe you didn't tell us sooner, I'm almost as mad as Sól but I understand why you want to keep things to yourself". Lavender said while going out of the door after Sól. Mist had kept quiet and had put her talons over her ears. She uncovered her and and looked at Violet. "Why did you keep that a secret?, that sounds like a cool power to have". Mist said to her. Drizzle leaned over and whispered something in her ear. She blinked and stared at the pancakes and took a bite. She nodded. What does he mean by it doesn't stop happening?, Does that mean she can't stop it? Has she been listening to my thoughts the whole time? Is she listening to them right now? I don't know how to feel about this... Mist thought while taking small bites of her pancakes. Drizzle looked at her and back his plate. Wait, if she can read minds does that mean she knew that I likes her before we got here?... So when we were walking in the forest did she...? She was going to know either way If she read my mind or not. But I am a bit disappointed that she didn't tell me about that. As long as she doesn't read my mind in awkward situations... Kind of like this one... She went out of Drizzle's mind and looked at Acid who looked at her and came towards her. She hugged her with her two front arms. "It's ok dear, Both of them will forgive you, everyone has their secrets". She hugged Acid back and Acid pulled away from the hug. Her, Mist and Drizzle ate their pancakes in silence. She realized that she hadn't seen Tarantula or heard from her. I haven't seen Tarantula in two days. I hope she's okay. Maybe she's at Widows house or Cobwebs. She could be taking care of the egg, but she would come out of her room to get a snack and then go back upstairs. She will come back as she always has. Acid thought about where Tarantula could be and which friends house she might have gone to. She looked at the sun dial on the ceiling and the time read 9:18. She looked at Acid and she had pulled the earplugs out of Sizzle's ears and had put them somewhere. "Acid, Where do you think Tarantula went?". Sh asked Acid as she was washing the dishes. "Well knowing that she doesn't get out of the house much she either went to Widows house or Cobwebs, But since Widows house is closer I think she went there". Acid told her. "Where is Widow's house?". She asked Acid. Acid put the dishes on a metal rack and turned around. "Do you want to go there?, I can can take you if you want but you have to come back at Eleven, Do you understand?". The three of them nodded and Acid started towards the door. Acid went upstairs to grab something and came back down with a piece of paper and a long stick with a Gray end. She started writing something on the piece of paper. She went to look at the piece of paper. The note read, Dear Sól and Lavender, I have taken Violet, Drizzle and Mist to Widows house, If you would like to come along notify me when I get back, Love Acid. Acid opened the door and the three of them went outside. The air was cool and crisp. She stepped outside and there was a small gravel walkway. She went to the left of the house and they had walked until they had seen a sign that read, Marble street. They had gone onto Marble street and walked a few feet. They soon approached a blue house with two stories. The door was a nice Dark Brown with a golden handle. Acid walked up to the door and knocked. A dragon opened opened the door. A dragon opened the door. They were a very Light Gray with stripes on their wings. They also had spots Brown and Orange. "Why hello Acid, have you come to see if Tarantula is over?". He asked while looking behind her. "Yes I have and I was wondering if you could watch these three and I'll come get them at Eleven". She asked him. "Of course I could!, Thank you for bringing them over. I needed some new guests". He said to Acid. "Remember Hornet, I'll be here at Eleven to pick them up along with Tarantula". She told him in a stern motherly voice. Hornet laughed nervously before letting them inside. They walked into a living room which had nice Crimson colored walls with a hexagon pattern on it. There was a kitchen in front the living room and there were stairs to their right. There was a hallway going from the living room into somewhere. She went down the hallway and that there were three rooms. One of them had a bowl with a curved silver rod and two handles next to it. It also had another bowl next to it with a lid and only one silver handle. In front of that was a larger bowl but it was in the shape of a rectangle. It had a short silver rod with two handles beside it. Violet came out of the room and went into another room that was across from the other room. She opened the door and went inside. The room was big but there was a bed taking up most of the room. There was a cabinet beside it. The room was big but there was a bed taking up most of the room. There was a cabinet beside it. She went in and opened the drawer. There was a book in the drawer, it had a Green cover with something covering the title. Although there was something covering the title she could make out some of the letters. S__r_ T_e __l_ W__. She wanted to open the book but put it back and walked out of the room. At the end of the there was another room. The door to the room was different. It was painted Silver but whoever painted it put in a lot of detail to make it look like real metal. She tried opening the door, It was locked. She turned to go into the living room and found a door that she hadn't noticed before. Was it there before?. She lifted her talons to the door and opened it. There was a staircase and railing on each side. The inside of the downstairs seemed to be wooden and a bit old. She closed the door and went back into the living room. She saw that everyone was a bit more quiet. She expected this, after all she had just told everyone she could read minds and now everyone's mind was filled with questions. The one who had the most questions was Hornet. His mind was all over the place. How did they get here? Why do they have two wings instead of four? Do they have any powers that we know about? Why does one of them have a teardrop by her eye and and the rest don't?. Finally he thought of something that interesting her. If only the Queen could answer my questions. She realized that Acid had never mentioned anything about a Queen. Did they they have a Queen?. If they did, Where was she?. Did they have a Queen?. She didn't want to think about it too much so she went upstairs to find her friends.

Violet slowly went up the staircase and held onto the railing. The railing was made of dark wood and it had a few talon marks in it, showing that it had been in use. She went upstairs and saw that it was different from Acid's house. There were only two rooms on the left side. One of them was a nice Light Blue and the other was a Light Purple. She opened the door that was Light Blue first and it was a bedroom. It was painted a Light Yellow with hexagons on it. The hexagons were painted a Darker Yellow with Lighter Yellow in the middle. There was a small bed in the corner of the room by a window. The blankets on the bed were a nice Light Red. The window had Orange curtains with small dots of Red mixed in. There was a small bookshelf against the wall with a few books in it. One that had caught her attention was a book called, Biology of Plant and how to care for them. The cover was a Lime color and at the bottom was the author's name, Anaxipha was the author's name. She opened the book and immediately saw a bunch of plants. One of them was called Peace Lillies. They were described as being a white flower with White berries in the middle. The berries were not to be eaten and the reason was because if you did they could cause tingling, burning sensations and mouth swelling. Next to it was a flower called Bromeliads. They required high amounts of light and some of them needed special temperatures. They could be colors like Red, Orange, Yellow, Pink, White and Purple. She flipped a few pages and saw that there was something called a Venus fly trap, A plant that ate bugs and sometimes dragons. It had Green and Red on it and it trapped the insects inside of its jaws. She looked at the next plant. It read the word Pitcher plant, A plant that led insects or dragons into it. It had had very slippery rims that would make things slip into it. The things that were inside couldn't get out because there were slippery walls that prevented climbing and whoever was trapped couldn't fly out because there was a liquid that prevented dragons from flying out. She quickly closed the book and put it back on the bookshelf. It had many more books including one on how to tell which plants were poisonous or not. Next to the bookshelf was a desk made of darkened wood. The desk had a Book on it which had a Brown cover. She opened the book. It was empty, all of the pages were empty. She saw papers on the desk and saw that they were drawing of dragons. They were all different. Some had eight legs, six legs or four. She realized that when the dragon's leg had been amputated above the other arm moved forwards. She looked at some of the other drawing. They were backgrounds of things. There were trees and bridges were connecting them and small Black dots were walking across them. There was another one of a large Gray building. There were words on it that read School. It had many windows and two large wooden doors. There was another one beneath that one. She went through the two pieces of paper and picked up the one that was underneath. It was picture of a rock, A sun overlapping the moon, a feather and a spider. There was another symbol above all of them, A constellation, the constellation was Ursa Major. It was coming down from somewhere. She didn't know what the constellation meant but there were stars coming out of the constellation. One star going down to each continent. She noticed that the Volcano had been drawn smaller and was farther away. She placed the drawing back down back down and placed the drawings back on top of each other and left the room. She gently closed the door and went out into the Dark Green hallway. She went to the Light Purple door and opened it slowly. The room had darker Yellow walls with hexagon patterns that were darker, the same patterns as the last room. There was a bigger bed with Darker Orange blankets. There was a drawer beside the bed. She walked towards the drawer and opened it. Inside the drawer there were tons of letters, all of them sealed with sap. They looked brand new as if they had just been written. The ink on them had almost looked fresh but it was dry. She picked one up and it had been signed, Dear Arachnie. She put the letter back into the drawer and picked up another one. It had also been signed to someone named Arachnie. She put the second letter back and closed the drawer. Whoever was writing these letters was obsessed with this dragon named Arachnie. She looked towards the wall and saw double door in the wall. She walked over to the double footed room and opened it. There was a drawer in the room. The drawer was painted a Deep Red. She looked up and saw that there were bags and different types of books. There were different types of books, one of them was titled, Changes in the continents, expanded edition. She took the book out from the other books, making sure to take it out gently. The other books landed on top of each other with multiple thuds. She looked around to make sure no one was coming up the steps. Silence. She opened the book and saw that there was a map of the continents. They looked different than what she had seen. The Moltenwings had more land and they had a different Queen. Every continent looked way different. She noticed that there was a lot less snow on the Featherwings territory and the Queen was also different. She saw a giant colored hole near the middle of the map, what could've been there?. She looked at the Eclipsewings and to where the Seamwings would've been. She noticed that there were a lot more trees than what there were now. The trees in this map went all the way to the sand near the Eclipsewing's territory. What had happened to all the trees and why had they disappeared?. She flipped a few pages and saw that there was something on how the Moltenwings had lost most of their land. She had read the section and learned that the reason the Moltenwings had lost most of their land was due to erosion and floods. The cause of the floods was unknown but that was the reason for the loss of land that had happened. She noticed that other continents were also affected by the floods. The Eclipsewings had lost a few small islands they had and the Featherwings had lost a small portion of their land. She had looked at the colored hole in the middle. She flipped back to the old map where the old Queens were listed, Obsidian was the Old Moltenwings Queen, Agrias was the Old Featherwings Queen and Delte was the Old Eclipsewings Queen. There was another tribe that was named, Orbitwings, their Old Queen was Vega. She flipped back to the newer map, The continent in the middle was gone. Strangely enough the newer map had no Queen for the Orbitwings, it was likely they had disappeared somewhere. She tried to remember if anyone she had met anything about a missing tribe. She suddenly remembered what Queen Blaze had said, about a tribe that into the sky. Questions started whirling in her mind. Where do the Orbitwings go?, Even though Blaze said that they went into the sky and I've been seeing a cloud in the sky with my visions... If they had Animus magic does that mean that the non moving cloud is... where they are? Does that mean we have to fly up there?. How is Drizzle going to get up there... Wait didn't Lavender say that she could carry Drizzle herself, maybe, just maybe if she wants to... Mist can create those portals! We could go through one of those to get there faster! I've done it, I've solved the conflict! But now I need to tell everyone... She slowly closed the book and put it on top of the others. She exited the room and closed the door. She walked into the Dark Green hallway and walked downstairs. She walked down the dark wooden stairs and into the living room where her friends were nowhere to be found. She went up to Hornet who seemed to be making something. It was two pieces of bread and something was in between them. It was nice light Brown and below it was a light Red. The food was on a nice White porcelain plate that had small designs of bees in it. "What have you made?". She asked Hornet as he was going into the living room. He looked at her and turned around. She still wasn't used to them having four eyes and almost freaked out but stayed calm. "Oh I've made a Peanut butter and Jelly sandwich, would you like one?". He asked her slowly walking back to the kitchen. She looked at him confused. "What is that?, Is it a good thing to eat?". She asked, turned to him. He grabbed some bread from a box. He looked up and opened a cabinet grabbing two jars out of it. I hope she's not allergic to Peanut butter or the Jelly. That would be bad. How would she know if she's allergic when she's never had one before? Does she have this stuff where she came from. He thought while making the sandwich. When he was done making the sandwich, he carefully cut off the crust with a knife and cut it diagonally. Hornet put the sandwich on a plate and handed it to her. She took the plate from him and sat down on the couch. She looked up at the sun dial and it read 10:23. She still had a few more minutes to tell them and until Acid picked them up. She looked at the sandwich for a bit before biting into it. It was wonderful, although the peanut butter stuck to parts of her mouth the jelly helped get it unstuck. She sat for a few minutes eating her sandwich. It felt like the sandwich was gone in seconds even though she had eaten two hours ago. Had her friends eaten? Were they hungry?. "Did you see where my friends went?". She asked him as she put the dish in the sink and walked back into the living room. Her friends?, Oh does she mean the dragons with two wings? I think they went downstairs. "They went into the basement, I think". He told her while walking towards the sink. She went towards the door that was near the entrance to the hallway. Her talons pulled open the door and she went down the stairs. The light on the ceiling helped her see her way down the stairs. She went down the stairs slowly and reached the bottom. There were two doors to her right and to her left a large room. She heard laughing to her left from the second door to her right. She opened the door and saw Mist, Drizzle and Tarantula sitting in a circle with another dragon. The other dragon was a Light Gray with Darker Gray wings with spots of light Orange and Dark Blue. The dragon had Dark Brown eyes and the upper ones were a lighter color. She wanted to read Tarantulas mind but got sucked into the other dragons mind. She tried getting out but she kept on getting sucked back in. Oh?, A new friend. I wonder if she's here to tell stories about her life or maybe they'll tell me the stories they read in the Distant Kingdoms. I wonder what life is like there, not having to hide their whole life because some other tribe thinks you're extinct. They must be really happy not knowing their entire existence isn't in danger because some stupid dragons wanting trees! I wonder if they still want the trees? What if... Wait... The dragons eyes dilated and they looked at each dragon in the room. IS SOMEONE THERE?!. She was quickly shot out of the dragons mind. She shook her head. Was it really that hard to not read minds?, She wondered if there was a way to stop the mind reading. Although she liked being able to, she didn't like reading her friends' minds. She thought it was an invasion of privacy, It was like hearing something you weren't supposed to. She knew that some dragons had a wall come up whenever she tried to read their mind, Like King Starwatcher when he was too busy with something, this strange wall closed up his thoughts like they were in a small box. The same thing happened with Fatefinder. It also happened to this dragon just a few moments ago. She closed the door behind her and walked into the room. There was a plate of food on the ground. It was apple slices and peanut butter on a glass plate. She walked over to them and sat down. "So What have you guys talked about?". She asked them while picking up an apple slice and dipping it in peanut butter. "We were talking about that one time during the end of third talon where there was that massive food fight, were you there?". Drizzle asked her as she sat down. She swallowed the apple slice. "Y-Yes I was, I was hiding under a table". She told him while looking around. "Who is this friend of yours Tarantula?, You never introduced her". She asked while looking at the dragon. Tarantula looked up at her and opened her lower eyes. "O-oh her?, That's Widow, she's a friend of mine... We met in school when we were four". Tarantula said while looking at Widow. Widow silently nodded and looked around. The Purple one looks nervous. The Pink one told me that her name was Violet... That's a nice name. His name was Drizzle and the one with the Galaxy in her wings was Mist... Drizzle looks to be happy about something but what?.He also seems nervous about something... I won't question it. Drizzle also seems happy... Well ever since Violet walked in he acts as if..... Oh... Maybe they have something between them. Well I won't pry in their business. Violet went out of her mind and went into Drizzles mind. I was beginning to worry about her... She hadn't come down and I thought something happened to her. Does she like the apples?, Maybe she's not hungry. I shouldn't worry about her, she looks okay. She went out of his mind and went into Mist's mind. I like it here... It's peaceful. Although the dragons here are a bit chaotic I... Don't mind... hehe 'Mind' Violet might like that... If she likes jokes that is... maybe she does or not I won't judge... She went out of Mists mind and looked at the sun dial. It read 10:45. She only had a few minutes to tell them before Acid had to pick them up. "I-I have something to tell you guys...". She said nervously. The group looked at her. Widow looked her up and down like she had something on her. Tarantula tilted her head and looked at her. What could she have to tell us... Well after Drizzle told me she could read minds. I'm quite nervous about this... What if she tells us that she could control minds too?... No, I must stop overthinking... It could be a- good thing. Yes... a good thing. Tarantula thought as she went out of her mind. Violet could understand her, after all she would be nervous after one of her friends told her they were a secret mind reader. She sighed softly. "I-I know what the conflict is...". She said to them. They looked at her confused. "What conflict?". Widow asked her. She took a deep breath. "I-I know about the Moltenwings taking the trees from you guys and I know you're angry. But I've found another conflict...". She said while looking around and hearing shocked gasps from the room. She continued speaking. "While you guys were down here... I found out about another tribe called Orbitwings, it seemed every tribe here knew about them until they disappeared, but I think I know how they disappeared. Drizzle do you remember when we met Queen Blaze?". She asked, looking at him. She could tell he was nervous because his gills would flatten down when he was. "Y-Yea, I do, why?". He asked her. Did she hear something from her mind?, Was Queen Blaze hiding something from us?. He thought while she continued. "When we met Queen Blaze she talked about throwing a party but she also mentioned a tribe that disappeared into the sky so... If I've been having visions of a cloud that doesn't move...". She looked at Drizzle and saw he was confused before his eyes lit up and he shouted the answer. "That means they went into the sky!, And if they went into the sky then that means..... That we have to... go there...". He said his voice sounding nervous and shaky. They looked at her with fear and excitement, Something was wrong though. The two of them looked scared, The two dragons that were scared were Tarantula and Widow. Why were they scared?. Unless the Orbitwings did t do anything bad, why would they be scared. Maybe it was because they thought they were extinct. She did t want to ask. "Violet, did your vision specify when we needed to go?". He asked her, his voice shaking. She tried remembering the vision she had the morning before. Just then something happened. Was it just her or was the room closing in on her?.No, it wasn't something else was happening. She blinked and saw a throne with a dragon on it. Their eyes were blurred out, she couldn't see them. There was also something on her head that seemed to be melting, it was made of flowers. White flashed before her eyes. She saw a door. It was made of metal. She could see sparks coming from somewhere, the door was now open. There was nothing inside. White flashed again. The sky was Red and so was the moon, they were by the trees at the beginning. White flashed a final time. The cloud had moved and above it was a dot in the sky. The sky slowly faded away swirling into Light Browns, Grey and other colors. She blinked a couple of times and looked around. Drizzle was looking at her with a worried look. Is she ok?, Did she have another vision again... I hope it wasn't bad like the last time. I wonder what the vision was about. Was it the same vision?. He thought while looking at her. She nodded her head no and continued speaking. "The vision I had kept showing us at the beginning of the forest and the sky was... Red". She stopped talking, she didn't want to talk about her visions. She didn't like talking about them. Widow and Tarantula looked at each other and their lower eyes closed tightly. "You can see the future?". Tarantula asked hesitantly. She nodded slowly, she knew Tarantula was going to ask her questions. Everyone always did when they found out she could. They were simple questions like, 'What's happening in history class' or 'Is there going to be a substitute teacher today?'. Sometimes the questions were harder to answer and she didn't know how to give them an answer. Some of the harder questions were, 'Is there going to be a fight at lunch?' Or 'Is the rumor about Silence true?'. Those were the types of questions she didn't know how to answer. She realized she had known someone named Silence. She would remember the rumor sooner or later. "Y-Yes I can.. I can't make it happen by itself, they JSU happen whenever they want". She told Tarantula and Widow. They looked at her and looked at the clock. It read 10:53, Acid would be coming to pick them up soon. "What was the vision of?". Widow asked her, looking at the doorway. She looked at Widow and realized the vision was different. She looked down at her talons. "The vision was... different this time, there was someone in a throne and they were a Dark Gray with a crown of... Flowers?, I couldn't see their face, it was blurry for some reason. There was a door that was metal and there were sparks coming from somewhere and then the door was open but I couldn't see what was inside... There was the sky... it was Red and so the moon..... I think I know what we have to do now". She told them while standing up and walking towards the door and went to the Crimson color med couch and waited. She sat on the couch nervously and thought about how this was going to work out. Ever since Drizzle and her had gotten together things had been different but there was still a prophecy to finish. She realized that Solarwings could make sparks with their horns, if she saw sparks in her vision that must mean that Sól came along with Acid. The dragon in the throne was a mystery, she knew the dragon was a Queen but what did they look like?. She was about to find out soon enough. She heard a knock on the door and Hornet quickly rushed to the door and opened it. "Why hello Acid, have you come for the four of them?". Hornet asked. She got up from from the couch and went towards the door. "Can I show Sól around for a bit?". She asked Acid and Hornet. "Sure you can, make sure to bring him back". Acid warned her. She grabbed him by his talons and led him through the house near the end of the hallway. "Wha- Hey!, where are you taking me?!". He asked while she dragged him through the hallway. She stopped as they reached the end of the hallway. "Why did you drag me all the way back here?, Do you have more secrets to tell me?". He whispered to her. She looked at the door and back at him. She realized the door had a key hole and she knew what she had to do. "Sól?, Do you see the keyhole in the door?". She looked at him and back at the door. He looked at her. What is she planning?, Does she want me to break the door down? Couldn't she have done that herself? What does she need me for? He thought while looking at the door. "Y-Yes I do, why?, do you need me to break it down?". He asked while looked at the door. She looked back at him and at the doorknob. "Are you able to put your horn into the keyhole, we have to get into this room". She told him. She wants me to WHAT!, would that even be possible?.What if my horn gets stuck and it can't get out, no my horn won't get stuck I'm just overthinking it. I...I need to do this for... for the prophecy... and for Lavender... She quickly exited his mind and looked at him with Hope in her eyes. He must've seen the look because he went over to the door slowly and bent his head down to the keyhole. He put his horn into the keyhole and it started glowing, she saw sparks come out of it and she saw the metal to the keyhole start to warp as it got melted. He pulled his horn out of the keyhole and breathed heavily. "I-I think the metal has melted enough". He told her. She looked at the door and saw that the metal was warped. She pushed the door open and it was surprisingly easy to open. They stepped inside the room and she closed the door behind them. She looked around, The room was empty except for some boxes. She went to one of the boxes and opened it. There were books inside of the box. Each of them had different colored covers, one of them was Green and the other was Yellow. There were a lot of books. She could almost fill her sleeping caves with these books. "Whoa, Is it just me or are we standing on a Trapdoor?". Sól asked. Drizzle looked at him and went over to him. She looked down at the floor. Sól was right, She could see a line under where she was standing. "I need one of you to get Lavender, and don't get caught". She said while looking at Sól. He looked at her and nodded. She watched as he quickly ran out of the room. She heard as Sól went down the hallway. She couldn't hear what he was saying. Her, Drizzle and Mist looked at each other and at the trapdoor. They looked at it once more before nodding and heading to where the front of the trapdoor was. The front of the trapdoor had a small indent carved into it, It had no handle. Drizzle leaned down to the trapdoor and got his claw into the indent and got the trapdoor open. When she heard Sól, Lavender and Sizzle come through the door, Her, Drizzle and Mist opened the trapdoor and let the others go in first. It was a tunnel that led somewhere. She didn't know where but she knew it was important if it was in her vision. Her, Drizzle and Mist went in last and closed the trapdoor behind them. The trapdoor closed with a soft thud and they went in. It was dark but her moons gave off some light. Drizzle brightened his spots and Sól lit up his horn. Sizzle looked at Sól and tried to light up her horn, small sparks came out of her horn. Lavender, who held Sizzle while they entered, looked at Sól and laughed. "Aaw, she wants to be like her big brother, see she's trying to light up her horn like you Sól". Lavender teased. Sól turned around and looked at her. "Please give her to me". He groaned as he turned around. Lavender handed Sizzle to him gently. He carefully put Sizzle in the sling he had for her and they continued walking. The tunnel had small spikes coming from the ceiling. It was pretty deep and it got a bit cold. "It got pretty cold down here, didn't it?". Tarantula asked from behind her. She jumped a bit and almost forgot they were there. "Y-Yea It did, how did they even make this?". She asked Tarantula. Tarantula went quiet and spoke quietly. "I-I don't know, I do t even know where this leads to!". She shouted as they were walking. Sizzle was making small sounds and eventually fell asleep. Widow had come up beside her and she didn't notice. "So, how did you know about the room?". Widow asked her. She looked ahead of her and back at Widow beside her. She saw that Widows eyes were reflecting light and she could probably see better than the entire group. Tarantulas eyes were doing the same as well. "How well can you see in the dark?". She asked Widow while she kept walking. "It's like someone turned on a light that's very dim, I can sort of see colors but not as well when it's dark, That's strange...". Widow told her. The rest of the group turned to her. "What's strange about the tunnel?". Drizzle asked Widow. Widow seemed to stop walking and so did everyone else. "This tunnel seems to be... turning into somewhere else?". Tarantula said to the group, cutting off Widow. Mist, Lavender and Sól looked at her. "Ho-How can a Tun-Tunnel turn?". Mist asked Tarantula. Tarantula and Widow both looked ahead of them. Tarantula looked back. "Well we have to see what's there, I'm curious about it". Tarantula said, avoiding the question. "The turn seems to be a few more steps ahead, don't worry I'll tell you when the turn comes up". Widow said, she seemed to be wary of the tunnel. It was almost like she knew what was in here and don't want to tell them. They kept walking and Tarantula soon tapped her shoulder. She looked at Tarantula and Tarantula nodded. "The turn is coming up now, it seems that the turn is wide so me and Widow will guide you through the tunnel". Tarantula told them, She felt Tarantula grab her shoulder and lead her somewhere. Although she could see in the dark, she couldn't see that well. For her it was as if someone turned on a bin blue light. She felt as Tarantula pushed lightly on her shoulder and soon stopped. She could see that the tunnel had somehow gotten a bit brighter. The tunnel had gone into a straight line and they had approached a room. The room had a dim light inside of it. Her night vision was a bit weaker now but she could still see most of the things in the room. There was a large box in front of them. It had two large doors. It had a small button next to it with an arrow leading upwards. "What is this thing?". She asked Widow and Tarantula. They came over to her and looked at the thing with her. "Well let's find out". Lavender said as she pushed the button. The doors opened with a small rattle and they carefully got into it. There were small bars on the sides, she grabbed onto one of them and felt the thing go upwards. It felt like her stomach was still at the bottom of wherever they were. This thing is weird... I don't like it, I prefer flying. It's a lot more peaceful than whatever this is.She heard Mist think. I've never seen one of these outside of here?, Why is there only one in here and not outside of wherever we're going. Why didn't they make these sooner, we could've gotten everywhere faster and not had to go up stairs. Widow thought angrily. I wonder where we're going. I hope it's a good place and not like the other places we've been so far. Maybe it's good, I sure it is, because if someone here is mean to Violet... I won't hesitate to slap them in them the face... With my talons. Okay maybe with a chair. She shivered at the thought of that. She couldn't imagine Drizzle doing that to someone, or anyone. She did think it was sweet though. She did t really know if Drizzle had the heart to do that for her. Would he do that for me?, Is he capable of doing that for me?, I wouldn't doubt that he's capable of it. I don't really know what's he's capable of now that I think about it. She thought while going into Sól's mind. This is what's been hiding under Hornets house?!, How could he not have known about this. Maybe he never went into that room for a reason. Maybe he knew this was down here and didn't want Widow to know... This is a strange place. She heard Sól think, She shook her head remembering not to invade others privacy. It was hard not to read minds as she didn't know how to stop it, if there even was a way to stop it. She probably should've listened to Storydreamer about Moonwing powers, that would be helpful right about now. "How far up is this thing?, does it go on forever?". Drizzle asked to group. "I don't know how far this thing goes!. I've never been in one!". Widow snapped at him. Suddenly the thing came to a halt and stopped. The doors opened and the stepped out silently. They were somewhere else now and it was really high up.

She looked back at the thing and saw that there was a tree trunk where the thing has once been. They were in a room made out of wood. There was a small window to her left. She looked ahead and opened the wooden door in front of her. She stepped out of the room along with the rest of the group. There were three dragons rushing around with items. Only one of the dragons stopped to look at them. The dragon ran over to them and looked at them with shock. "You aren't supposed to to be here right now... The Red sky is coming tonight!". She told her. How did they get up here?. They can't be here now, but... Wait a minute... The dragon thought while coming closer to her. The dragon touched her wings and spread them out a bit. She saw Drizzle come to her right side. Is she studying her?. They probably haven't seen dragons with two wings until now. Is she hurting her?, I sure hope not!... Drizzle backed away and looked around the room. She looked at the dragon. "Why do you only have two wings?, Is it a mutation or a deformity?". The dragon asked her. How strange... She also has those moons on her chest, those are pretty. Oh!, That one has a Galaxy in her wings! How is that possible?. I've heard of the Distant Kingdoms but I didn't think it was real... Are they here to see the Queen?. She was shocked and confused. Why now would this dragon mention the Queen?. She recalled her and remembered that they did have to meet her. "Can we see her now?". She asked the dragon. "Who do you want to see?".  The dragon asked her while she looked at the sun dial. It read 12:37. Had it it taken them that long to get them?. "We need to see the Queen". She asked the dragon. The dragon looked at her and looked at the other dragons scurrying around. They stopped and went different directions. She saw Tarantula and Widow look at each other with shock and disbelief in their eyes. "Alright, right this way". The dragon sighed as she led them through the place. The place seemed to be organized, being in the shape of a circle. The dragon went through a hallway and they stopped at a silk curtain. The Silk curtain was a bright Red with small white edges on the bottom. A voice could be heard from inside. "Come in, Mite, I could be doing more but... You know the reason...". Mite opened the Red curtain and inside sat a large dragon atop a throne. They were a Light Gray with Dark Gray wings. They had Dark Grey patches in places on their body. Their stinger seemed to be bigger than Tarantulas and Widows. They also had a crown of flowers on their head which was made of Oranges, Greens and Purple. She couldn't see their eyes but they soon lifted their head to look at Mite. "Who is it you wanted me...to.....See". The Queen said as she looked at them. "Who are... They?". She asked Mite. Mites lower eyes looked to the left and her upper eyes looked to the right. "They're visitors and one of them asked to see you, My Queen". The dragon said while bowing. The Queen looked down at her. "Please stop doing that... So..., which one of you wanted to see me?". Violet walked forwards and looked at her. She had Deep Brown eyes with the upper ones being a bit lighter. She had a flower petal on her nose, She didn't seem to notice. How strange... She has two wings and stars on them. She has Green eyes too. I like her purple color... I wonder what the teardrop by her eye means... I hope it's a good thing... The Queen thought in her mind. "How curious... What is it you needed, young one?". She asked her. "I-I'm here to tell you something, it's really important ". She told the Queen while her wings shivered for a moment. I haven't heard an actual important thing in ages... I wonder what it's about. The Queen looked at her intensely. "Go on...". She told her. She looked at the ground. "It-It's about tonight!, There's going to be a-a different sky tonight!. The sky will be Red instead of the Black color and so will the Moon. There will be another thing that happens, There is a cloud in the sky that will move after not moving at all". She quickly told the Queen. The Queen looked at her skeptically. "When will this event occur?, Has someone told you when?". The Queen asked her. She looked at her talons and back at the Queen. "No, no on has told me... I can see the future and that is what the future is... I think it will be a few hours from now". She told her. The Queen looked at Mite. "Mite, can you get me a book and pencil... I need to write this down". The Queen said while looking at her. Mite looked around before running somewhere and returning with the items the Queen had requested. She flipped to a page and wrote something down. The Queen left the book open. "Have you seen anything else besides that?". The Queen asked her while holding the pencil to the book. Her lower arms held the book while her upper arms held the pencil. She noticed that the Queen wrote with her left talons instead of her right talons like Drizzle or Mist. The Queen tapped her pencil on the paper in the book. The book was a light Red color. She saw a name on the book, The name on the book read Arachnie. That was the same name on the letters she found in the drawers. If the letters in the drawer in Hornets house said Arachnie that could only mean that Arachnie was their Queen. If she was the Queen why was she hiding here for so long?. Did she do something that the tribe would think was unacceptable?. Was she hiding from something?. How long had she been here?. She watched as the Queen looked over her notes and tapped her pencil on the book. This is something that needs to be noted down, After all I've never seen someone who could see the future. Are they having a vision now?. How do I know when she will have a vision?. If I am correct she has come from the Distant Kingdoms. So have her friends who look very different from her. She stopped tapped her pencil and looked at her. She closed her lower eyes and stared at the ground. She quickly slammed her book closed and put the book on the arm of the throne. "If we leave this place now we might get there fast enough to see the sky, I will have some guards come with me, Mite, you know what to do". Queen Arachnie said while the dragon scurried off somewhere. The Queen sighed and got off of her throne. She realized why the Queen didn't get off of the throne. When Queen Arachnie got off of the throne she almost hit her head on the ceiling. "Oh, Well it seems I am too big for the elevator, That's what windows are for...". She said while going near on of them. "You're not going to jump out of it?, Are you!". Widow asked her while the Queen put her upper arms on the window sill. "How else would I exit this place?". The Queen said while jumping out of the window, leaving large talon marks in the window. Everyone ran to the window and saw the Queen flying peacefully in the sky, like she hadn't jumped out of the window a moment before. How did she do that?. Has she done that?. She acts like she's always done it. Time to follow her. Lavender thought quickly before trying to jump out of the window. They watched as Lavender jumped from the window, flying after the Queen. She saw Sól as he looked out the window and at the Queen. I won't jump out of the window, not with Sizzle. What if I try to find another way like a balcony. Yes, that would suitable. Rather than just jumping out of a window. Sól thought while walking away. She looked at Drizzle and he looked at her. "Can you glide from here?, will you make it to the edge?". She asked him carefully. He sighed. She started thinking he would say no. "I can glide from here, in fact I think I will make it farther than the forest's edge, No need to worry". He told her. She saw Lavender get onto the window sill and jump out of the window. Mist went out after her. "Are you sure you can make it?". Violet asked him. He looked at her with Hope in his eyes. She climbed onto the window sill and jumped out. She quickly spread her wings to catch herself. She flew higher into the air. She looked back to see Drizzle jump out of the window and spread his wings. She got nervous, she thought he wouldn't make it. He started gliding towards her. She went down lower to him. He looked at her and smiled. "See?, I told you that you didn't need to worry, I'm just fine". He told her while gliding ahead of her. Why was she so worried about me?, Did she see something about me not being able to glide?. Did she think I wouldn't make it..., She doesn't have to worry now because I might go farther than the forest's edge. He thought while they flew. She had seen the Queen in front of her and the Queen was larger than both Widow and Tarantula. She realized she hadn't seen them jump out of the window. She looked back only to see them fly past her and towards the Queen. She looked down and could see some dragons through the trees looking up at the Queen. It was like they had seen her for the first time in their lives. It was probably the first time that the Queen had been outside. The way the Queen flew was... weird. She would stop flapping her wings for a while and than she would suddenly start flapping her wings like any other dragon would. After a while the Queen had started flying normally. She could see the sun almost start to set. She flew towards the Queen. The Queen started looking around for something, presumably the beginning of the forest. The Queen seemed happy and calm, so did everyone else. "I think the edge is coming up soon, so we better be on the lookout". Queen Arachnie told them. Tarantula and Widow nodded to her . As she flew closer towards the Queen she saw something on her wings. It was the shape of a spider on her wings. She didn't know what that had meant but she thought it was a sign of royalty. At least I finally got out of that treehouse. I haven't been out of there in ages, Well not really I was only in there for thirty two years... At least my daughter is here with me. Queen thought while they were flying. Queen Arachnie has a daughter here? But who, It couldn't be Tarantula because her mom is Acid. The only one left is Widow..., But she doesn't have the same symbol as Arachnie on her. What if she covered it up, which is why no one knows that she's royalty. That's why her wings looked weird. I'm guessing that she didn't want to tell other dragons because if they found out they would probably start asking questions about royalty. She thought as they were a bit closer to the forests edge. The Queen looked back at her and smiled. "Why are you back there?, You should be up here with us!". Queen Arachnie told her confidently. She flew up to Queen Arachnie and smiled back at her. "Sorry... I was thinking about something". The Queen looked at her and frowned. "Why are you sorry?, there is nothing to be sorry about...,We are getting near the edge here in a few minutes". Queen Arachnie told her while flying a bit faster. She saw Drizzle glide beneath her. She was happy to see him glide, He looked as if it was the first time he'd glided. She was glad to see he was happy. She thought of what was to come next. She still the sling that Lavender could carry Drizzle in and Mist was able to make those portals so that checked out. But what about getting through the portal?. At the Galaxywings' island Andromeda had pulled them through the portal. Would Mist be able to do the same?. She would know the answer to that in a few hours. She felt nervous but excited at the same time. She wanted to explore whatever was behind the cloud. She knew it was a continent full of unknown dragons that she hadn't seen before but she was excited and scared to meet them. She thought of how advanced they would be considering the dragon here had something they called coffee and they also had small libraries along with flower shops and whatever a candy store was. She wondered if the dragons on that continent had more advanced things.

Queen Arachnie looked back at them and sighed. "W-Why don't we land, I'm getting a bit tired". She told the group. Queen Arachnie dove down into the trees. The rest of them followed her and dove down into the trees as well. Queen Arachnie chose a clear spot to land in. There were a few stick that scratched her pretty well. She saw Drizzle crash through the trees pretty hard He had small scratches but did get a big scratch. The scratch was near his back which had ripped some of his webbing on his back. He was bleeding but not to bad. Queen Arachnie looked around at everyone. She saw Drizzle and gasped. "Oh three moons!, Are you alright?, I'll get you some bandages". Queen Arachnie told him while looking around. "Tangle!, get over here!, We have an injured dragonet!". Queen Arachnie yelled into the trees. She heard the trees shake as something came through them. She saw a head come down onto the ground. The dragon came towards them with many pouches attached to them. "O-Oh, Uh, I-I'm fine really, It only hurts a little". Drizzle told Queen Arachnie. Queen Arachnie looked at him for a moment and grabbed his arm. "You are staying here and letting me patch you up..., It is the least I can do for you after you all decided to visit me , especially... since..., That doesn't matter, for now we will get you patched up". Queen Arachnie told him while Tangle got closer to him. Tangle inspected his wounds. He took out a few small white fluffy balls and dabbed them over Drizzles' wound. "This might take a few months to heal..., You'll need lots of rest and you might not want to glide for a while". Tangle told Drizzle "Oh, O-Okay, I'll try not to". Drizzle told Tangle. Tangle looked at him with all four of his eyes. "No, You won't glide, At all..., Because if you do, You might reopen that wound of yours and the healing process would take even longer than a few months, Do you understand?". Tangle asked Drizzle as he pulled some bandages from a pouch. "Y-Yes I understand, I won't glide at all". Drizzle said as Tangle wrapped bandages around the wound. Tangle kept silent as he finished wrapping the wound. When he was finished Drizzle lowered his wings to his side. "How is it this uncomfortable?". Drizzle said to Tangle. Tangle ignored him. "How long is it now that we're walking?". Lavender asked Queen Arachnie. "I think it will be a bit longer, but we will still get there early if we start now ". Queen Arachnie told them. Sól went near Arachnie and by now Sizzle was awake and a bit grumpy. Sól almost panicked and they had stopped. Sól picked Sizzle out of the sling and held her close to him. "Hey Sizzle, You're awake!, We're in a forest now and we're going to see the sky for some reason, Maybe you could stop fussing so we can get there faster". Sól whispered to Sizzle. Sizzle got quiet and lit up her horn in response. Sól had gotten hit by one of the sparks. Sól slowly put Sizzle into the sling and they continued towards the forests edge. They had been walking for a while,  stepping over large sticks and vines. They had almost begun to trip over the vines with how fast Queen Arachnie was. She had almost gone into a full sprint. They had almost gotten into a full sprint when suddenly Queen Arachnie had stopped in her tracks. She had started walking slowly. "Why did we start walking?, Is something wrong?". Drizzle asked Queen Arachnie. Queen Arachnie held up a finger as a signal to be quiet. They were all quiet as they slowly walked past a tree. As they all passed the tree she could see that something was attached to it. It was a plant, it looked exactly like the one that had attacked Drizzle. It was curled around the tree and had small antenna on it. They had kept walking silently. Queen Arachnie breathed a sigh of relief. "The reason I told you to stay quiet was because that plant is awakened by noise, and large amounts of movement, That is why you all needed to stay quiet". Queen Arachnie explained. They had continued walking forwards to the beginning of the forest. She had heard some noises behind them along the way. She guessed those were the guards that Mite sent along with Queen Arachnie. They were doing a pretty good job. She mostly couldn't see them or hear them except for when it silent. She had started noticing that the trees were getting farther and farther apart. She knew that was a sign of them getting closer to the forests edge. She could see the sky getting a bit darker and it got Orange in color. She could see as they were approaching the forests edge that the sky was now a Bright Red. She looked at the moon, It was also Red. She felt a small tingling in her head. She didn't know what it meant but it had seemed bad. She looked up to where the non moving cloud in the sky was supposed to be. It was gone. In its place was a small Brown dot. She had read about this in this library, The blood moon was supposed to make her see all natural disasters and... she could project her thoughts into others. She felt dizzy. She saw the trees lean sideways. Were they falling?. A dragon was bursting from the rocks and climbed out from somewhere. They were taller than Queen Arachnie. White flashed. She saw a portal, it was Purple and Blue with swirls of Yellow. She couldn't reach it and she started falling. White flashed. Drizzle was there in a hammock. She felt the hammock slip out of her talons. Drizzle fell farther and farther. White flashed. She saw Sól, he was trying to defend someone. He lit up his horn but something was wrong. The rest of his body lit up at well. His body lit up as well, he was frying himself and Sizzle. White flashed. A dragon was chasing her. They had multiple wings. Violet was met with her looking at the ground and at her talons. It wasn't real, I-It wasn't real. none of that was, was it?. She thought in her mind. She wanted to test if what she read was real. She focused on Drizzle, she knew he would be the one to not get started as easily. Drizzle..., I think you know what we have to do now, don't you?... Drizzle looked around for a moment before looking at her. Was it just me or did Violet speak to me without moving her mouth?. Wait a minute, I think I know what's going on. I read a book in the Eclipsewings' library that mentioned this. Moonwings see all natural disasters and their able to project their thoughts into other minds, not just other mindreaders. That must be why she looked like she didn't speak, she was seeing if it was true... she asked me if I knew what we had to do, does that involve me going onto that continent?. Drizzle thought to himself. Yes, Drizzle the whole group has to go up there. She told him in his mind. Drizzle nodded lightly. "How- How Are we go- going to get up- up there?". Mist asked from her right. She jumped a bit. "Do you know how to make those portals like Andromeda?". She asked Mist. Mist looked up at the sky, It was still Blood Red. "Y-Yes I do, Wh-Why?, Is tha- that how we're going to get- get up there?". Mist asked her while looking up. Violet looked at her. "Yes, that is how we're going to get up there, did you see where Lavender went?". She asked Mist while looking around. Mist looked over to Queen Arachnie and pointed. Lavender was talking to the Queen. She walked over to Lavender. Lavender looked at her and looked up at the sky. "So how do we get up to that continent?, Are we going to fly all the way up there?". Lavender asked her. "No, That's what I wanted to talk to you about. You mentioned that on the way here, you could carry Drizzle by yourself. I was wondering if you could do that, when Mist makes a portal closer to the island we will go through there and arrive safely on the continent". She told Lavender. Lavender looked at Drizzle for a moment and at the hammock on her back. "Sure, I will try to carry Drizzle to this random continent". Lavender told her while walking over to Drizzle. She had planned this way to get to the continent. She had multiple visions of it. Now it was time. The only direction they could go was up. There was nothing that could keep them down.
