Violanthe Joanne "Violet" Benton is the main protagonist and narrator in the teenage graphic novel, mysterious, suspenseful Violet-verse series, VIOLET. Violet Benton is portrayed by Sofia Black D'elia.

Violet Benton is a homeschooled high school student at Somerville High School, a Eaglette cheerleader on the Somerville High cheer-team, a member of the Cobras, the preschool best friend with Sonya Hedrick, and she is also the ex-girlfriend/reconciled girlfriend to Aaron Hayfield.

Despite having harbored a romantic crush on Jonny Harper, and for the sake of not wanting to form a love triangle in between herself, Jonny, and Monica, Violet agreed to be best friends with Jonny, despite their strong chemistry connection between them; and Jonny also agreed as well.

Throughout the Violet-verse series, Violet has become the Knight In Shining Armor, and a confidante to her best friends and buddies. Such as comforting Cherry when her parents were divorcing and comforting Jonny after Monica broken up with him. She has also become the Knight In Shining Armor as well, such as sacrificing herself to Eleanor Reese.

Violet has also Scooby-Doo books, which developed her amateur sleuthing, such as helping her best friend, Special Agent Maggie Pollard, with uncovering The DollFace serial killer, helping Cherry Jenson with her Jenson family drama by figuring out the fake beneficiary forms, and exposing Miss. Jenson's marriage cheating on her husband, Mr. Jenson.

Physical Self
Violet has shoulder-length dark brown hair with dark brown eyes and is medium height and sometimes wears her hair down, in a low ponytail or a ponytail. She has a medium complexion and a slender, slim build. She wears dresses, skirts, skinny jeans, ankle boots or ked shoes. She wears a little jewelry, such as her choker V necklace and her hoodie cape.

Personality
A Sweetheart, bold, yet, goofily of a person, Violet is adored by her best friends and buddies, who she likes to help whether they ask for it or not. And also with anger management therapy. She walks the walk, talks the talk, doesn't take any nonsense from nobody. However, she has a darkness within her. Her dark alter ego, Dark Violet, which she wore a bra, a skirt, along with a light purple hair bang wig. But despite her darkness, however, Violet is good person. She is also honesty, such as telling her boyfriend, Aaron, that Jonny kissed her and she kissed him. And also says falsely things, but to protect, such as, telling Aaron that she doesn't want to be with him and she doesn't love him anymore, but she was just protecting him from what psychotic Eleanor Reese wanted her to do, which Aaron figured out.
