The Next Morning, in the student lounge, I'm sitting on the three seat sofa beside Sonya, snacking on some gummy worms.

My phone buzzes in my jeans pocket. I pulls out my phone and looks at it. Cherry

I answer my phone. "Cherry? I'm worried about you, you're not at school, are you okay?"

"I don't know. But I'm stuck." Cherry tells me on the phone.

"Cherry? Where are you?" I asked her, becoming worried.

                               minutes after...

CLEARWATER SWIMMING HOLE

Me and the guys drives up to the Clearwater Swimming Hole in Eric's truck.

"Cherry?!" I exclaimed. "Cherry?!"

"Violet?!" Cherry said, atop of the cliff.

I look up at Cherry and becomes worried. "Cherry? What are you doing up there?"

"I don't know. I was brought here." Cherry tells me.

"By who?" Jonny asked, looking up at her.

"I don't know. I had a pouch bag over my head." Cherry said.

"Can you get down?" Sonya asked Cherry.

"I'm not sure." Cherry said, and starts to lose her balance a little.

"Cherry, I'm coming?!" I exclaimed.

But Cherry loses her balance and falls into the water.

"Cherry?!" I exclaimed, and without thinking twice about my clothes, running up to the water and dives into the water.

I swim towards Cherry and gently grabs her, and pulls her to me and swims back up to surface.

Sonya and Ava gently pulls me and Cherry onto the dirt ground.

I gently lays Cherry down on the dirt ground and starts performing CPR.

"Cherry? Wake up. Wake up, Cherry." I said, performing CPR, and becomes worried. "Cherry? Wake up."

Cherry pukes up the water and coughs, sitting up straight, panting.

"Cherry? Are you okay?" Eric asked me.

"Yeah. I'll be fine." Cherry said.

Cherry and I exchange looks at each other. And I gently hugs her. She gently hugs me back.

JENSON HOME

In the living room, I had wrapped a blanket around Cherry's shoulders, she's drenched from the swimming hole as well.

Cherry told me that Eleanor Reese kidnapped her, gave her a drug that made her a bit dizzy, and brought her to the Clearwater Swimming Hole.

So, right now, the guys and I are with Cherry is sitting on the three seat sofa, spaced out. I sit down on the three seat sofa beside her.

"I would asks you if you were gonna be okay, but clearly, you're not." I said to her.

"I'll be fine." Cherry said with a blank look on her face.

"I'm gonna destroy Eleanor Reese." I said.

"Don't be a Heroic Knight, Violet." Cherry said, looking at me, but smiles a little. "But thanks for saving me." and looks at the guys. "You guys too."

"Hi, guys." Mr. Jenson said, upon slowly walking into the living room.

"Hi, Mr. Jenson." I said.

"Cherry, sweetheart, are you hungry?" Mr. Jenson asked her.

"I'm fine, Dad." Cherry said.

"Cherry, you need to eat something. Or even a snack." I said.

"Violet's right. You need to eat or snack on something." Ava said.

"Okay, how about a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?" Cherry said.

"Really? Sarcastic." Matt said.

"Cherry's not being sarcastic. And I can also tell when she's being sarcastic." I said.

"A peanut butter and jelly sandwich." Granny Jeana said, in her mechanical wheelchair. "Sounds very good." and drives away.

"You guys should go, I'll be fine." Cherry said, reassuringly.

"Okay." I said, getting up to my feet. "It's still afternoon, and school is still in, so, yeah."

I slowly walks away.

"Violet?" Cherry said, causing me to stop walking and looks at her. "Thanks again for being there for me, and for saving me."

"You're welcome." I said, and walks away.

JEN'S DINER

That same afternoon, Maggie and I are sitting in a booth table across from each other with our milkshakes.

"So, I've been keeping tabs on Cherry's Mom, Kelsey Jenson, and I've been doing some research digging." Maggie said, pulling out a small ziplock bag containing a pill. "Kelsey has been making pills."

"Drug pills?" I said.

"Kelsey has been making drug pills for Eleanor Reese." Maggie said.

"But I don't quite get it, what does Eleanor Reese wants drug pills?" I asked her.

"Don't know, but Violet, the drug pills are being made at Oak Valley." Maggie tells me.

I become worried.

OAK VALLEY FOR TROUBLED PEERS

That evening, Jonny has accompanied me to the institution.

"Miss. Bergstine?" I said.

"Violet?" Miss. Bergstine said, slowly walking up to me. "What is it?"

"Is there a drug lab here?" I asked Miss. Bergstine.

"Not really no, why do you asks?" Miss. Bergstine asked me.

"Miss. Bergstine. You know I deeply care about you, right?" I said.

"Yes, and I deeply care for you as well. You were one of my therapy sessions." Miss. Bergstine said.

"If you know anything, or even a little bit, you can always tell me." I said to Miss. Bergstine said.

Miss. Bergstine becomes worried. "I can give you a hint."

"What's the hint?" Jonny asked.

"Eleanor Reese." Miss. Bergstine said.

JEN'S DINER

Jonny and I are sitting atop of his truck's hood, gloomily.

"Eleanor Reese threatened Miss. Bergstine." I said to Jonny.

"Don't do that." Jonny said.

"Do what?" I asked, looking at him.

"Don't blame yourself." Jonny tells me. "I know you, Violet, so does the guys. You're a good person, and despite your darkness, you keep your head up. So, I need you to be strong. You're Violet Benton. An incredible person. And also a badass."

"Thanks." I said.

"You're welcome." Jonny said.

Jonny and I exchange smiles at each other and in that tenderness moment, he and I kiss each other, passionately, gently cupping each other's faces.

But then, I stopped kissing him, and pulls myself away from him.

"Oh gosh. I'm so sorry." I said, realizing what I had done. "We should've have kissed.

"I'm sorry too." Jonny said.

"Take me home, please?" I asked him.

"Yeah, sure." Jonny said.

Jonny and I gently leaps off his truck's hood and gets into his truck. And drives away.
