3-Hey Eli
❀VIOLET❀
'Iam Proud of my Heart. It's been played, stabbed, cheated, burned, and broken, but somehow still works'
The pulled the car to a stop at the bustling airport drop-off area. My head pounded as I stepped out, the noise and activity washing over me like a wave. People hurried by with their suitcases, voices blending into a chaotic noise of departures and arrivals.
Inside, the airport was even more overwhelming. Lights reflected off the polished floors, and signs directed travelers to various destinations. Sophie led me to the check-in counter, where she spoke to the airline attendant. I stood there, clutching my backpack tightly, trying to keep my breathing steady.
After what felt like an eternity, we moved on to security. The line was long, and I fidgeted nervously, my mind racing with a mix of fear and anticipation. Sophie stayed close, occasionally offering a comforting smile. When it was finally our turn, I placed my belongings in the bins, removed my shoes, and walked through the metal detector.
On the other side, I gathered my things and followed Sophie to our gate. The waiting area was crowded, filled with people staring at their phones or chatting with travel companions. I found a seat and sank into it, my body feeling heavy with exhaustion.
"How are you holding up?" Sophie asked, sitting down beside me.
"Okay, I guess," I replied, though I wasn't sure if I was being honest. My emotions were still a tangled mess.
Sophie nodded, understanding. We sat in silence for a while, the minutes ticking by slowly. Eventually, the announcement came: our flight was boarding. I stood up, my legs shaky, and followed Sophie to the gate.
The flight attendants checked Sophie single ticket. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and looked at her slightly scared.
"Why is there only one ticket?" I whispered. My voice was barely audible. Sophie looked at me he expression soft and her honey brown eyes stared into my deep blue ones.
"I'm sorry violet but can't travel that far. Besides, i have to stay here. I still have some of your papers that needs to be sorted out and sent to your brothers. Take care." She said with one small smile and ushering me to the flight.
She disappeared out of sight and i stood there silently my head hung low. My hands and feet trembled as i stepped inside. A flight attendant showed me my seat, and i was surprised the first four seats ahead of me were empty. It was first class?!
"This is your seat. I'm Amy please feel free to signal me if you need anything" she said.
I nodded and got in my seat. I took my headphones and connected it to my very broken phone and played my favorite playlist. The mix consisted of a bunch of sad songs which always soothed my mind whenever i was depressed.
I looked outside the window, and we were still on the runway. I closed my eyes to fall asleep because the flight was about 8 hours long anyway.

My eyes peeled open tiredly. I glanced at my phone, and it was 8:08PM in the night. i had slept for 3 hours and that meant i still had 5 more hours. The gut feeling in my stomach never went away since i had come here.
From a distance i could see Amy, coming forward heading towards my direction.
"Hey Violet. It's nice to see you awake. It's dinner, anything you'd like to eat?" She asked.
I shook my head. "No. But maybe some juice, and a small cup of ice cream would do." I said with a tired smile. I know, she was probably weird out by my food suggestions but i to my surprise her face lit up.
"Really? I also like eating ice cream with juice! Apple?" Amy smiled at me. "Any flavor."
A few minutes later Amy returned with my ice cream and a glass of juice. She handed it to me along with a spoon and left. I took small bites out of it and forced myself to eat the cup.
I never really ate well so i always had a lack of appetite. I finished half of my apple juice and placed the glass to the empty seat beside me which had a place to keep bottles.
I took out a hoodie and some fresh jeans out of my duffle bag and made my way to the luxury bathroom in the plane. There was a shower, but it was cold so i just washed my face, changed and went back to my seat. I adjusted the lights to a dim orange Ish color and made myself comfortable in my seat and fell to a deep sleep.
When i woke up from my slumber, there was 15 minutes left for the plane to land. I quickly packed everything including my phone making sure it was in my hoodies pocket.
I secured my headphones and closed my eyes feeling even more like throwing up. I was going
home.
If i could at least call it that.
I hope i could. I had no idea where to go or if anyone would be waiting for me.
I shook away my thoughts and as soon as we landed i took my duffle bag and made it out before muttering a small thanks to Amy as well.
"Wait violet!" Amy's voice echoed behind me as i made it out the staircase. "Here is my number. Hope to see you around!" She said handing me a piece of paper.
I smiled and went to look for somewhere to sit. I took one of the benches nearby and sat down my eyes visibly tired. It was 1AM And i needed sleep so badly.
A few minutes later i see a tall man standing in front of me. He was dressed all-in black suit and i let out a small scream and flinched backwards, but the man caught me.
"Hey violet." He spoke offering me a small smile. "Don't be scared, I'm Elijah your 3rd oldest brother. Let's go, shall we? " His voice was smooth and had a tinge of Italian and English accent mixed together like mine. No wonder i never knew i had a Italian kind of accent.
I visibly relaxed as he introduced himself and i was too tired to even ask if he was actually my brother or not. The next thing i know is I'm being carried inside a car which looks super fancy and luxury and filthy expensive.
The interior is dark purple seats and grey walls. The seats were so soft i could sleep in this car.
"The ride home is 2 hours, you can sleep Sorella." Elijah said. I fell asleep immediately.
