Dear Lily,

      Not a day goes by where I don't thank the gods for giving me the chance to meet you and have your friendship. Of course I could never disclose this friendship to anyone considering my bloodline, it made me like Malfoy a bit for pairing me up with you during our first patrols as prefects. He probably thought I'd have an amazing time in tormenting you but oh how wrong he was.

       That night was one of the most fun I've had. And it's not because of that. But because I met you. And you opened up this whole world I never thought I'd ever see. You told me about your family and your friends, you ranted to me about Potter and just anything that comes to your head.

       I knew you were a bit hesitant at first, considering I come from a long line of purebloods, but I'm glad you get to open up to me.

       Thank you for you friendship, Lily. I promise I will cherish it.
