" lumos! "
In the dead of the night, a bright light shone through Hogwarts' Astronomy Tower. Sapphire Vore writes down in her little blue stationery paper. It was that time of the day again where she felt inspired to vent out her feelings. And what better way than to write to the cause of her feelings?
Wistfully, she wrote down the subject of her prose.
Dear Lily,
I don't like lilies. I always thought they looked weird. I don't like how it makes me feel whenever I look at it. For example, I don't feel drawn to the vibrance of their colors nor do I feel attracted to their scent. I never understood how some people claim to love the scent of lilies (or any flower at that) and I don't think I ever will. I don't like how they move whenever the wind passes them by. Just the touch of them is enough to make me irk. They remind me too much of someone that I always wanted to forget. But they don't make me forget. Which makes me despise them more.
But somehow, seeing you here as you walk down the halls make me forget how you were named after such a cursed flower. You were always a weird one but in the best way. I always felt drawn to the way you look, so vibrant and magnetic especially when you talk about something you like. I can imagine you talking for hours with the most radiant smile I could ever see.
I never understood how much I could love the scent of your hair and I don't think I ever will. It smells like the warm coffee you have in the morning, it smells like cuddling up to your lover after an exhausting day, it smells like the sunset by the beach giving a quiet ambiance to the people on the shore, it smells like home. And don't get me started on how the wind would brush across each strand as I watch you pass by. Eyes wide and smiling as you run along. Those green eyes never once trailing to the girl standing by the wall. Me.
Just the touch of you is enough to set me aflame. The fire coursing through my veins and I wouldn't even mind it. I would gladly burn for you. Even if it meant scorching myself. Even if it meant having a scar. I would gladly do it for you.
You make me forget. You remind me so much of something I never want to forget. I would give everything to remember that. Which makes me love you even more.
I never liked lilies but I guess you're an exception.
Love,
Blue
