4 days passed since the events on the river side. 4 days in which the search for Lady Arya Stark and her beast began. 4 days since Prince Joffrey Baratheon refused to answer his Lady Mother. 4 days since Queen Cersei Lannister dragged her lawful daughter to the Stark's tent and ordered her to be held there until their sister appeared.

4 painful days.

Many had tried to get the truth out of the wedded couple, without avail. It was clear as day that Lady Elowen would not spill the truth, as the truth had to do with her sister and the beast's disappearance, but the fact that Prince Joffrey Baratheon was just as tigt lipped as his Lady Wife was surprising as before he had no qualms in outting those that wronged him.

Lord Stark himself had grown annoyed with his eldest daughter and her sudden mutedness, his pleas for the truth falling deaf on Elowen's ears, even Lady Sansa had grown curious with the situation that her twin sister was in.

The King and Queen of the Seven Kingdoms had also grown annoyed with their own eldest child, who, when not asking about his Lady Wife's status, was also suddenly mute.

It wasn't until Lady Arya was found by searchers that the couple was brought out of their tents by the White Cloaks and to the hall where everyone had gathered.

Upon entering the room in the inn where everyone was, the couple shared a look of worry, Joffrey's was for Elowen, and Elowen's was for her sister, who she'd been warned had been found.

The sight of Arya standing before the King, with muddy and ruined clothes, had Elowen dashing forward while calling out her name, saying something for the first time in 4 days. Arya turned around to face her sister, a glare on her face, assuming the worse, until she saw the panic and relief shinning in her sister's deep blue eyes.

Elowen threw her arms around her sister, and held her to her body, thanking the Gods for having kept Arya alive these past 4 days. Joffrey could only watch as she was led to his mother's side, he was glad that his Lady Wife's sister was alright, but he knew that this was not over, he knew that the girl would suffer for her actions, even if he didn't tell his parents what had happened.

The next person to enter the Hall was Lord Stark, glaring at everyone in his way until he reached his daughter, daughters much to his surprise. Elowen let go of her sister and curtsied finally, both to her Lord Father and the Rulling Couple.

When he was close enough to his daughters, Ned reached for his youngest daughter, pleased that she was well. Arya turned to her father and apologized as she was buried into his chest while Ned glared at his best friend, the Queen, the Prince and barely spared his eldest daughter a glance.

Even if he had, Elowen wouldn't have seen it as she was actively avoiding her father's angry gaze. In the 4 days that passed, Ned barely spoke to Elowen, when it wasn't to press about the subject of what happened and to berate her for allowing her sister to disappear.

"Are you hurt?" Ned questioned worried as he pulled away from his youngest daughter to check her for injuries. Arya declined having any injuries, and given she didn't have any part of her gown stained red or cut.

"What is the meaning of this?" Ned questioned, turning to his best friend and his wife, anger clear in his tone and face, so much so that his eldest daughter flinched, knowing that when her father was angry is was best not be in his line of fire. "Why was my daugther not brought to me at once?"

"How dare you speak to you King in that manner?" Cersei questioned, her lips twitching with her own anger, only to be ordered silent by her Lord Husband.

"Sorry, Ned." The King started, staring at his best friend, "I never meant to frighten the girl. But we need to get this business done quickly. Since neither of our children will tell us what happened, the girl is the only way that we can know for certain."

The King's words surprised the youngest Stark, who looked at her sister in shock. She truly had expected the Prince to rat her out to his parents, or even her sister to attempt to lie to protect the Prince, but to have neither of them say what happened was truly unprecidented.

"The only thing we know for certain, by comparing bitemarks, is that a beast of yours nearly tore his arm off." Cersei argued, shooting Arya a small glare. "Which beast we can only assume that it's Arya's since both ran off and only the child returned."

The couple was quiet and looked at the ground where they stood.

"That's not true!" Arya shouted, her voice loud and shrill, "She just... bit him a little."

A mean smile grew on Cersei's lips, as the revelation of what happened came to light, the 'what' from which Elowen and her own beast saved the Prince from. The truth that Elowen was indeed innocent and the Queen had hurt her, barely phasing the Queen.

"He was hurting Mycah." Arya started, waiting for someone to interrupt her and tell her that they knew the truth of what happened.

"My son would not hurt anyone without reason." The Queen snapped, annoyed and protectively. "You and this Mycah boy probably beat him and you set your beast on him."

"THAT'S NOT WHAT HAPPENED!" Arya shouted, taking a step forward, only to be caught by her father. "Mycah and I were playing, the two of them showed up and he hurt Mycah, I only defended my friend."

"He was hurting my Lady's sister, I had to do something!" Joffrey rebutted, finally speaking on the subject after 4 days. "And as I'm defending her, she hits me over the head with a stick and throws my sword in the river."

Arya's eyes turned wide as the Prince spoke, anger burning through her, "And you cut my sister's arm!" she shouted, attempting to leap forward from her father's grip.

The news that Elowen had gotten hurt during the altercation had the King and Lord Stark turn their gazes to her, wondering if it was true. Elowen stood still, only flinching as her father approached her and grabbed her injured arm, pulling out into the dim candle light.

Ned let go of his youngest daughter, to push the sleep of his eldest daughter's dress up, revealing a much larger bandage than what he'd been expecting.

"The Maesters said you got cut on a rock and it was a small cut, deep enough only to draw blood." Ned started, his tone harsh and gruff, annoyed that he had been kept out of the loop.

"Did the Prince cut you?" Ned questioned, attempting to control his anger. However, when Elowen refused to answer, Ned repeated the question in a more firm and demanding tone.

"It was an accident." Elowen replied in a low tone that was almost unheard by everyone.

The King grumbled under his breath, before ordering Elowen to step closer to him, prompting Ned to let go of his daughter and watch as she slowly crept before the King, stepping in front of Arya.

"Tell me what happened. Tell it all and tell it true. It's a great crime to lie to a King." The King ordered, throwing in the gentle reminder that Elowen shouldn't lie.

Elowen kept quiet for a moment before inhaling, she rubbed her sweaty palms against her nightgown as she gained the courage to speak.

"The Prince and I went for a walk, in an attempt to get to know each other better. We were walking by the river side when we came upon Arya and Mycah." a shaky breath left Elowen's lips.

"They had yet to see us, so the Prince and I watched, we watched until Mycah hit Arya. The Prince did indeed remind Mycah that Arya was my sister, and that I am the Prince's Lady, grant it might not have been the best way of reminding the boy but he did."

Elowen's eyes moved to Joffrey's, watching as they narrowed ever so slightly.

"My sister attempted to defend her friend by hitting the Prince, and I rushed to seperate them, knowing that neither were in their right minds. The Prince reacted accordingly to having been attacked, and as Arya hid behind me in order to avoid the Prince's anger, the Prince cut me without meaning."

Arya looked at her sister, in awe that she was telling the truth, rather than protecting her Husband.

"When Arya saw the cut, she yelled. Nymeria merely reacted to Arya's scream and what she perceived as a threat, which is why she lunged at the Prince. Wylla rushed to pull Nymeria away from the Prince quickly enough, allowing me to tend to the Prince."

With a stronger inhle of air, Elowen continued.

"My sister did throw the Prince's sword into the river, to prevent any more cutting or maiming to happen before running away... Each of the two were only trying to protect another person, it was an accident which ended with blood being spilt."
