Tiffany and I decided to start things off slow and secret, just to see how things would develop. I couldn't resist her, and she made it clear that she couldn't resist me either. Things with her were better than I could have ever expected. It has been six months of us secretly dating and decided to finally let everyone in on out secret.
We took everyone out to eat and decided we would tell them over desert. I think I let the secret out of the bag a little too early by opening doors for her and the stupid grin on my face that I couldn't seem to hide when I looked at her. I had a feeling that Lacy and Tom were watching us and knew what was going on. Mrs. Emily and Mr. James were obviously completely oblivious to the whole situation. They thought we were just all going out for a nice dinner together, they showed no signs of knowing what was coming.
"Mom, dad, I have to tell you something." Tiffany began the conversation in a nervous tone. Neither of us knew how they would respond to the news. Tom and Lacy were easy to predict because they have made it very clear they wanted us together. I would never tell them that they are the reason I even considered acting on my desires.
"Oh, no, are you in trouble?" Mrs. Emily asked while dropping her fork and pulling out her phone. "Who do I need to call?"
"No, mom." Tiffany laughed. "I am not in trouble, put your phone away."
Mrs. Emily let out a relaxing breath, "Thank goodness. Ok, what is it?"
"Um, I, uh, I'm not sure if I can do this." Tiffany began again feeling nervous. Her feelings were written all over her body. She clamed up and pressed her lips tightly together and looked down at her hands in her lap tightly clinched. To help her relax, I reached over and placed my hands on her and smiled at her when she looked up at me. She smiled back and held my hand. As she continued to smile and look at me, she let words slip. "Jay and I have been dating for six months now." She said softly but still loud enough for them to hear.
Lacy squealed with excitement, Mrs. Emily placed both of her hands in front of her mouth, Tom leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms over his chest with a big smirk on his face, and Mr. James continued to eat his chocolate lava cake.
"Are you serious?" Mrs. Emily asked, feeling the shock of the words sinking in. "Yes Ma'am." I answered. "I knew it!" Tom responded. We all waited for Mr. James to chime in with his response, but it didn't come until after he finished off his desert. He wiped his mouth with his napkin and placed it on top of his plate, took a sip of his drink and looks at me. "So, you think you can just secretly date my daughter without me knowing about it, do ya?" He began. We all stared at him waiting for his head to explode with disappointment and anger. Instead, he had a reaction that none of us were expecting.
"Let me tell you something Jay. You can't hide anything from me. I have known about this relationship since it started. Do you know how? Haha! I'm not going to tell you how!"
"Are you mad?" Tiffany asked, squeezing my hand.
"No, I'm actually relieved. I expect issues to come along with this though. People are going to find out and start questioning me about how I can allow my daughter to be with such a dangerous man that has taken many lives, (he paused and stared at me for a moment), and that has cheated death on more than one occasion, and many, many, many, other things they don't like about you. But to be honest with you. I don't care. You have been apart of this family for a long time. I know the real you, all that stuff that you pull is not you. All I am going to say about this is, Jay, you better treat her right! I know you will, I trust that you will, and I approve."
Mrs. Emily had tears forming in her eyes. "I approve too!" she said.
The news of Tiffany and Jay's relationship began to spread, just as Mr. James predicted, people began to question him as to why he would allow such a danger to society get so close to his daughter. Fathers are supposed to protect their daughters from people like Jay. Mr. James refused to answer the question that were thrown at him.
"You know he has killed people, why are you ok with him being anywhere near Tiffany?"
"Jay is such a danger that he is not allowed near prisons, and you let him date Tiffany? I mean how bad does one have to be to have a restraining order preventing them from being around other criminals. You are a horrible father for allowing this!"
"You suck as a father! You shouldn't be allowed to have a daughter!"
Mr. James knew the real Jay. He knew that the things Jay has done in the past were only done because those people came at him first. Jay is not a career criminal; he treats others the way he wants to be treated. If someone comes after him trying to take his life (which they do all the time and Mr. James never understood why) Jay will take theirs first out of self-defense. Jay does not go around killing people for the thrill of it. In fact, he hates it, he hates that he has a bad reputation, he hates the way people treat him, and he hates that no one understands why he has committed the crimes he is known for.
Jay understands that the reasoning behind his actions does not justify what he has done, but when someone comes at him, he is not going to just lay there and take it, he is going to do what anyone would do and defend himself. It just so happens that he does not know his own strength. When he fights, he blacks out and his body takes control. Deep down Jay is a good man, he is misunderstood, the number one enemy to the public, and the most sought out prize to worst people.
Sarah (Jay's sister) heard about the relationship and had a vision. Marcy noticed Sarah go into a trans and asked, "What did you see honey?" Sarah snapped back and smiled at her mother. "Nothing mother." She refused to let the secret out. Instead, she grabbed her phone and sent her brother a text, "Congratulations bro, I'm very happy for you!", then sat her phone back down continuing to shine her smile. Marcy knew something was going on and Sarah had the details. She tried to tap into her daughter's thoughts, but Sarah managed to block the information from her mother.
'Now, mother. We would not want to invade anyone's privacy, would we?' Sarah spoke silently giving her mother a go to hell look.
'What are you hiding from me Sarah?'
'Nothing you need to concern yourself with mother.'
Sarah knew better than to speak to her mother with such disrespect, but she had information that not even Jay had about his own life. She knew exactly when and where it was going to happen, and she had a plan.

Ace was spotted near the lake that Jay had dumped Gage into several months earlier, he was fishing again and talking to Blaze. "I feel like Gage is still out here somewhere. I can feel him." Blaze spoke first. "Why did you leave him pop?"
"Your brother pulls this kind of crap all the time Blaze, you know that. He has been this way his whole life. He thinks he knows everything and thinks he can get away with anything." Ace responded.
"Yea, but I feel like something happened to him."
"Some things are better left alone." Ace responded with a smile on his face as he stretched his legs out and crossed his ankles. Blaze looked confused for a moment, then stood, and threw his fishing pole onto the ground. Ace didn't budge. "Something did happen to him! And you know all about it don't you!" Blaze raised his voice at his father. Ace continued to hold his captivating smile and remained seated in his relaxed position. "Tell me!" he paused for a moment and a switch was flipped in his mind, his facial expression showed the switch flip clearly. "It was Jay wasn't it." He said calmly. Ace still refused to answer. "I'll kill him!"
That was the sentence that cause Ace to flair up. He leaped out of his chair, grabbed Blaze by his shirt and shoved him against a tree, he couldn't reach the ground. "You listen to me, and you listen to me good boy. You are not going to touch Jay; do you understand me? The problems between Jay and Gage are for them to handle. We have bigger fish to fry, and we need Jay's help. We won't win without him. Got it?" Ace kept his voice low throughout the conversation, changing only his body language as his voice and facial expressions remained the same.
"Yes sir." Blaze answered and Ace put him down and straightened his shirt. "Great, now sit your ass down and catch some dinner, I'm starving. Get some better bait, we need a lot of fish this time."
"Why?" Blaze asked.
"Because, we have company and your brother will be rejoining us any minute."
