Test Me, You Asshat

(AN Sorry guys for being gone so long. I've actually taken down all of my other stories for now because I can't find the motivation to write them... I'll be redoing them all and amping them up! For the next chapter, prepare for it to be longer and more...detailed. Anyway, please enjoy!)

It was funny how some things work out but honestly, this was pushing things a little too far in the direction of 'protagonist of a manga series; part one' for Izuku's taste.

There weren't many people around at the moment, mostly because he was late but that was fine with him. He didn't particularly want to even be here in the first place. He swore he would curse Shigaraki into the depths of hell for this. The asshole.

Thinking about things wouldn't help him much, he would just have to do it and get it over with. He couldn't fail even if he had the urge to just throw the entire thing because he could...but this was what had to be done so that the league could get on the inside.

He found his way to the auditorium he was supposed to be in, but as he was going to open the door, another person opened it and smashed it into his face, knocking him backward. But he didn't hit the floor, he hovered there his bottom only a few inches off the ground.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't notice you there! Are you alright?"

Izuku wanted nothing more than to narrow his eyes at the bumbling idiot of a girl, but he refrained and forced himself to be nice and somewhat awkward.

"I'm okay, no harm, no foul!"

He was more than happy when their brief conversation of introductions was over and he could leave to find his seat in the auditorium that he and all the other testers were to be in.

Surprise surprise he was sitting next to his old friend Kaachan. Yay.

Thankfully Bakugou Katsuki was much too invested in himself to even think about who was sitting next to him, for now, Izuku was sure he would notice eventually. Izuku couldn't care less, at what the explosive boy would think once he figured it out.

Once Present Mic started talking, things became very very real, he was really doing this. He was really taking the entrance exam for the prestigious UA.

It wasn't untill right before they went off to their own separate areas to prepare for the exam that Bakugou finally noticed him, the brute sent him a wicked glare that didn't faze the greenette in the slightest.

"What are you doing here, Deku?!"

He growled out through gritted teeth.

Izuku looked over his shoulder and gave the blond a look of confusion.

"Do I know you?"

The pure shock and confusion on Bakugou's face was enough to make all of this worth it for him. The red-eyed teen removed his hand from the no longer wimpy boy and mumbled something under his breath.

Izuku was practically beaming with delight by the time it was time for his test, and his happy mood was not dampened in the slightest by the countdown of the clock beeping loudly for everyone to hear.

Once the sound was made and the robots were unleashed, Izuku began his relentless attack.

He seemed to move too fast for the human eye to catch, one minute he was one place and the next he was somewhere else and then next to a robot that was powering down and had wires torn out and sparks flying everywhere.

"Who is that?"

One of the Pro-heroes asked aloud, making another shuffle through papers and documents until the found the right one.

"Midoriya Izuku, age fourteen, uh... it says here that his quirk manifested late at the very end of the school year last year....his quirk is registered as.."

There was more flipping through pages and a mumbling as the others watched all of the children who were racking up points.

"That's weird... his quirk registry says he has two quirks? Time-Turner and Analysis."

Even All Might made a surprised face, no one had ever heard of someone having two quirks, at least not without help from an outside source.

"Keep a watch out for him."

---

Blinking in and out of the vision of other people always made Izuki grin from ear to ear, seeing their faces as he just vanished before their eyes. It made him giddy. What didn't please him was the fact he was only limited to two quirks and that made him a bit angry. Then again, he couldn't have people knowing just how many quirks he had or just how well he could use them. He had to be seen as an above average kind of guy with crazy intelligence... only because he refused to pretend to be stupid. That would not fly with him.

This actually wasn't too bad, he was already seeing some interesting quirks that he could write about at a later date, he already found a few people from this little group of students that he knew for sure would be part of the Hero program.

How many people could he get to explain their quirks to him like he wasn't a villain? How gullible would these people be to his plain appearance?

It wasn't long before a loud rumble shook the ground and made the buildings shake.

That zero-point robot had appeared, and low and behold, the same girl that had smacked him in the face with the door was about to be smashed into oblivion. He really wanted to leave her there but what kind of wanna-be-hero would he be if he did? He inwardly groaned and let his quirk do the thing it was best at.

It took hardly any time to get to where the girl was, and only a second more to realize that his time-quirk was beginning to take its effect. He was beginning to have blurry vision and that was kind of a no-no when you're trying to save someone from a robot that could easily crush you.

Thankfully he was able to get her out of the way and dismantle the robot before his vision completely disappeared and he was temporarily left as a blind man because of it.

He apparently didn't see something come his way because he was soon floating and being maneuvered by what he assumed was the girl's hands on his ankles.

"Are you ok--oh! Your eyes are in bad shape!"

The girl who he couldn't remember her name shouted a bit concerned and panicked.

"Its the drawback of my quirk, I overused it so I'm blind for a while. Don't worry. Are you alright?"

He turned his head to face where he had heard her voice come from and tried to keep his eyes closed so she wouldn't have to see milky glazed eyes.

"Oh, that's kinda sucky... I'm alright, thank you for saving me."

"Don't worry about that, we are all here to be Heroes, isn't that what any of us would have done?"

He made sure to say it a bit louder so that the others nearby could hear him, he knew that probably stung their pride when they remembered how they turned tail to run just because the robot was zero-points, even though there was someone to be saved. he made sure t keep a bright sunny smile on his face as he talked with the girl.

He could actually hear some of them suck in their breath in shame and knowing. Haha.

Recovery Girl made her rounds and even helped Izuku's eyes heal a bit faster, not like he couldn't do it himself with other quirks but it's not like he could use any of them in public. At least he could see blurred figures and fuzzy lights if he really needed to see where he was going.

He got out the walking stick that he kept in his boot and flicked in his wrist outward like he was opening a blade to make the rod-like pole extend so he could use it. Along he went just like a normal blind person and their walking pole thing... He didn't take time to give it a name or even figure out what they were called, he didn't really care, either.

----

"Its here! Izuku! Its here!"

His mom shouted as she basically tripped over herself trying to get the envelope to her son.

He gave her his thanks and she gave him her best wishes before leaving to give him the privacy she thought he undoubtedly needed.

He set the small disk on his desk and watched as All Might himself showed up via hologram, he felt the irritation build but he pushed it down, if his mother came in on him fuming at the sight of the number one hero (even though she was well aware of what he had said to him) she might get suspicious of him.

He listened to All Might ramble on about the point system and how he had gotten first place in both defeating robots and hero points for saving that girl, he wasn't surprised and he even rolled his eyes when he heard All Might say he was proud that he found his path. Screw him.

Well, now to go visit his friends and let him know that he had accomplished the first part of his many part mission... oh, and to kick Shigaraki in the face.
