MOONLIGHT RIDE (Black HatxDemencia) FLUFF

The moon was high in the night sky, illuminating Demencia's dark room. It's light spilled past her lime green curtains, and onto her drooling face.

Her door slowly opened, revealing Black Hat.

He peeked into the room, as if making sure no one else had been inside. After confirming she was the only one present, he shut the door behind him.

"Demencia," Black Hat whisper-yelled across the room.

She was motionless.

"Demencia!" He said slightly louder now. The hybrid stirred, rising up. Her hair was a mass of tangles and knots encasing her head. She blinked unevenly, then squinted her eyes.

"Black Hat?" she questioned, voice slightly raspy.

"Get up." he growled.

"It's sleep time," she cooed while attempting to snuggle back into her covers. They were torn off by Black Hat, almost instantly.

"It's go time. Get dressed--Actually, just meet me in the car," he then left the room, leaving her confused.

Demencia let out an exaggerated sigh before rolling out of her bed. She couldn't keep up with his weird requests. For the past month or so he had been coming in at random times just to tell her to meet him in his car. They'd always end up driving in circles for a hours before showing back up at the manor. He was always dead silent and always shushed her whenever she spoke.

After Demencia pulled on a jacket over her thin tank top, she emerged from her room. The halls were quiet at this time of night, for everyone had been asleep. She tip toed down the corridor, keeping her eyes on the front door. Soon the knob was in reach. She grabbed onto it, twisted, then pulled.

The cold night air attacked her face as she stepped out onto the front lawn. Her teeth chattered, causing her to wrap her jacket tighter around her.

A black mist drifted infront of her. Black Hat formed out of the mass, sporting the usual scowl.

"Are we going for another night drive?" Demencia grinned while tugging on his suit.

"Yes, that." He looked away from her, concealing his face.

"You're so weird... I like that," she whispered. Black Hat rolled his eyes. He then snapped his fingers, a pair of keys had been summoned. They fell into the palm of his hand.

Suddenly, he reached out and grabbed Demencia by the waist. Her side pressed up against his. She melted under his touch, the way he handled her could make any girl go wild!

Once she gained her composure, she found herself within his car. He cleared his throat.

"I love you so much," she sighed dreamily while reaching out to grab him. Just to touch his skin--

"Don't--!" His face ripped apart, teeth snapping at her extended hand. She quickly pulled back.

"Sorry." Demencia mumbled.

...

The car drove the city streets, skyscrapers were at every intersection and party-goers littered the sidewalks. Instead of looking out the window, Demencia's focus had been locked on Black Hat. Occasionally, he'd cut his eyes at the girl. Her heart skipped a beat whenever their eyes made contact.

The longer they drove, the less buildings passed by and the brighter the stars got. Eventually, they had completely escaped the city. This was new.

"Where are we going?" Demencia asked curiously. Trees seemed more present but it had gotten really dark. She could see her reflection in the window, staring right back at her.

Black Hat pulled over onto the side of the road. Demencia looked up at him with curious eyes.

"I'm risking a lot leaving the manor at this time of night," Black Hat began, not quite looking her in the eyes.

"I'm sure you're confused--" he was cut off by her giggling.

"Confused? Yes. I don't mind it though, I love spending time with you!" she grinned.

"No! You're not supposed to like it!" he growled, hitting the dashboard. The car shook slightly.

"I'm doing this because I hate you," he growled.

"But you just sit there and stare at me the entire time! You don't care that I'm wasting your sleep, over a stupid drive," a green blush had been accompanying his face. He looked away.

Demencia couldn't understand what was happening.

"Look," she placed a hand on the center console, "I don't know what's going on in that brain of yours, but..." She stopped when she saw him shaking.

"Black Hat?" she called. He swiveled around at an inhuman speed.

"What the hell are you doing?" Black Hat spat.

"I'm not doing anything." Demencia's brows furrowed, growing concerned.

"No! To me! I've been driving... I don't know why I've been fucking driving! I'm wasting gas! You're making waste gas!" He snapped at her, making it a point to get in her face. She sat in her spot, growing slightly annoyed.

"I thought driving could clear my mind! But no! I keep bringing you with me! Who in their right mind would..." Black Hat grunted, pinching the bridge of his non-existent nose. He was having trouble comprehending his actions. He wanted to put an end to it. Right now.

Black Hat bared his claws then grabbed Demencia by the neck. A gasp escaped her lips, she'd been caught by surprise.

He pinned her down across the passenger seat, then lowered his head to her level. His eyes were locked with her mismatched eyes. Demencia stared back, afraid, yet stunned by him.

The eldritch flicked his tongue, taking in her scent. Their chests were pressed against one another's, he could feel her heart thumping violently against her chest.

"Scared?" Black Hat asked. She exhaled with a dirty grin on her face, taking him by surprise.

"You should be the scared one," Demencia whispered. She was careful to not do anything drastic to ruin the moment.

"Oh really? And why is that?" he pressed a talon against her neck, slightly piercing the skin.

"...myself" the hybrid whispered incoherently.

"What? Speak louder!" Black Hat ordered then got closer to her face. He could feel her warm breath on his face.

"I said..." she began, their faces only centimeters apart, "because I can't control myself!"

Suddenly, she latched onto the collar of his jacket, pulling him towards her. Their lips connected, sending an electric shock throughout her body. Black Hat's mind went blank, feeling the warmth of her soft skin against his. Before she could get greedy, she parted from him. Her laboured breaths eliminating the silence of the car.

"I'm sorry," she forced out quickly in a hushed whisper. Black Hat wavered above her for a few moments, then suddenly grabbed her by the arm, piercing her skin with his claws. She seethed from the slight pain, then meet his gaze once more. His face contained a look of hatred, a twisted, scornful frown.

Their eyes lingered on each other, pupils darting around in the dark. They were as still as statues, as if a single movement could result in immediate death.

"You're hopeless..." He said, almost inaudibly. His claws retracted from her bruised arms. As he rose from her, he caught her looking at something on his face. Demencia watched his lips, wanting more of the intimate contact with him. She parted her own, ready to say another apology.

"Don't bother," he mumbled. The hybrid watched as he resettled into his own seat. The eldritch rested his head on top of the steering wheel.

"...can I kiss you again?" she twiddled her fingers, testing the waters.

Black Hat's mouth opened to form the word 'no' and several other swears but nothing came out. He turned towards her, head still resting on the wheel.

"How is that going to benefit me?" he questioned, half annoyed.

"Well... I'm warm?" she gave him an awkward grin. Black Hat was tempted to act upon that single sentence. That one kiss that had been stolen from him only a few moments ago, hadn't been entirely bad. He just didn't want to associate himself with her.

"I'd rather not partake in locking lips with the likes of you." the eldritch scoffed.

"Oh..." Demencia slumped over in her seat.

"Y'know, I thought snake guys like you liked heat. Since you're always so cold," she baited.

He couldn't deny his passion for warmth. That's the only justified reason for kissing her. It's the only reason he'd do it. Just because she's warm.

"Fine." Black Hat rolled his eyes, then straightened out. Demencia began to climb over the center console.

"What do you think you're doing?!" he shrunk back away from her. She rose a brow, continuing to raise her leg over his, trapping him.

"I'm getting in your lap!" she wrapped her thighs around his torso. He was now wedged between her legs.

"This isn't necessary." he grumbled.

"I don't see you fighting it," her voice lowered as she pressed herself against him. Demencia put her hands on his shoulders, then leaned forward to close the space between them.

Black Hat braced himself.

...

...

...?

"You look so silly," she giggled while pinching his cheeks. He shook her hands off of him. The hybrid poked the space between his eyes.

Black Hat blinked at the contact.

"You just grew this eyeball. Are you nervous?" she joked.

He inhaled deeply, then exhaled. The eyeball shut, but never reopened. It melded in with the rest of his skin.

"Stop stalling and warm me up before I change my mind!" he yelled.

"Ok, ok." Demencia shut her eyes once more, he closed his as well.

She tightened her grip on his shoulders, then closed the gap. Her lips seized his, their mouths started moving in sync. The heat between them would diminish slightly only to be refueled by the friction from their bodies against each other.

The hybrid stuck her tongue into Black Hat's mouth, his saliva instantly coating her muscle. It was ice cold.

The eldritch's eyes widened at the intrusion. Her tongue explored the inside of his mouth, just barely grazing his sharp teeth. He shot his forked tongue against hers, wrestling against her. Demencia began shift over his lap. He ran his hands along her sides, feeling her figure for more heat.

Ultimately, Black Hat won. He explored her warm, wet cavern. It had been almost unbearably hot for him, but also comforting. She melted over him. Her legs wobbled as she lost her balance, then plopped onto his lap. Soon, she began grinding against him, over taken by whatever qualities of him captivated her.

Black Hat pulled away from the kiss, hissing. Demencia immediately lifted off of him.

"Am I hurting you?" she worried.

"No, and I only agreed to kis--heat sharing," he caught himself before saying the wrong word.

"Did you feel the friction? I can do that here too--!" she exclaimed, then slammed down on top of his lap. Black Hat jumped from the sudden weight, unintentionally thrusting up into her figure. He began to feel a faint squirming in his lower region.

"Ooh!~" Demencia purred.

"W-we need to get back to the manor. We've been gone long enough," he accidentally let a stutter slip out. Black Hat then grabbed her by the waist and placed her back in the passenger seat. Before she could protest, he was already making a U-turn.

"Wee!" she squealed, for they had been going way past the speed limit. The moon was lowering, and a thin line of orange lined the horizon, signaling the light that was soon to come. In her opinion, the night had been well spent and she'd just have to wait for Black Hat to come around one day... or night.

The eldritch focused on the road in front of him, purposely dipping into the overflowing sidewalk to hit a few pedestrians. They both cackled in unison, completely forgetting the event that unfolded earlier that night.

"Can we stop by McDonald's?" Demencia asked, pointing out the window.

"Fine..." Black Hat concealed an evil grin whilst pulling into the drive thru.

"Welcome to McDonald's!" someone spoke from the voice box.

"Hello, insolent being... a single black coffee," he then rolled up the window, continuing through the line.

"They're gonna spit in your coffee for that..."

"It'll be the last spit they ever make." Black Hat muttered.

Demencia piped up, hoping to get him to order something for her at the first window. He simply drove past it and continued to the second.

"No! You fucking--you just fucking--you ass!" the hybrid growled from the seat, flailing her arms and legs around wildly out of anger.

"I wanted a pie!" she whined and kicked the glove compartment violently.

"Hey!" Black Hat scolded then took a sip from his coffee.

"Save it for the manor!" he spat. Demencia huffed, crossing her arms.
