*Scarlett's POV*
"We've retrieved your helmet, and prisoners, my dark lord," Kozu said, two Stone Warriors holding Nya captive and the other two holding me.
"You'll never get away with this!" Nya cried. "Our friends will put a stop to you!"
Garmadon only laughed, walking toward us. After looking at Nya, his eyes found mine. "One of the ninja... interesting."
"Unhand us!" I squirmed around, trying to escape their grasp. And then I saw something I thought I'd never see in my life.
A strange purple blob, behind Garmadon. And for some reason, it spoke. "The power of the Dragon Flame... this proves useful."
It was then that I remembered the conversation with Misako. "Th- The Overlord? N- No..."
"The Dragon Flame?" Garmadon asked, looking at the blob for guidance.
"An ancient element, thought to never exist... it's so powerful, it can defeat the Stone Army without effort. Why do you think she was the only one who was able to damage your mech?"
Garmadon laughed once again. "So the prisoner becomes an ally."
"A- Ally?" I shook my head. "I'll never work with you!"
"Bring out the Dark Matter!"
Nya and I gasped, seeing what one of the warriors brought.
"You could prove to be useful to us." Garmadon held the Dark Matter in his hands, putting it toward my face.
I stepped back, only to bump into one of the Stone Warriors that held my wrist. "If this is how it's gonna be..." My hands erupted into flames, causing the Stone Warriors to let me go.
I kicked the Dark Matter out of Garmadon's hands, flames appearing in my hands once more. I threw them at the Stone Warriors holding Nya, and they fell back, letting her go.
"Thanks!" Nya smiled.
"Let's get out of here!" I grabbed her wrist and we ran off.
"Stop them, and get the ninja!" Garmadon ordered.
We ran across the bridge, and out of the camp. A spear was thrown at me, and I stopped, ducking out of the way.
"Scarlett..." Nya tapped my shoulder, pointing behind us. "We're surrounded!"
The Stone Warriors were walking toward us, Garmadon not too far behind. When I turned around, more were there.
"Oh, no..." I looked around, hoping for something, anything, to save us. "I can't fight my way through every single one of them..."
"Save yourselves the trouble." Garmadon ordered us to be separated, and that's what happened.
"Nya!"
"Scarlett!"
"Might I give you another helpful piece of information?" The Overlord returned. "This is the Scarlet Ninja... the one destined to help your son defeat you."
"Ah..." Garmadon chuckled. "Let's see how my son fares without you, then."
The Stone Warriors pinned me down, and I couldn't use my powers out of this. Garmadon returned with the Dark Matter, grinning.
And right as he was about to pour it on me, someone jumped in front.
"Scarlett, no!"
My eyes widened as I saw Nya get hit by the Dark Matter. Even the Stone Warriors looked in shock, and they released me.
I took this as a chance to do spinjitzu, rising to my feet and knocking them away from me. "N- Nya!"
"That wasn't the plan... but I can't complain about this outcome." Garmadon grinned. "I need more Dark Matter!"
One of the warriors ran to get more, and I kneeled down next to her. "Nya... no!"
She was already turning into a dark gray shade. "Scarlett... go find the others. Run away!"
I knew I didn't have much time. "We'll save you, Nya. I promise!" I stood up, doing spinjitzu and knocking away the warriors walking toward me, including Garmadon.
Then I ran, ran for my life.
"Get her!"
"No... let her run. We'll see her again when she finds the other ninja."
I ran away from camp, wiping at my eyes. I just saw Nya get possessed or something, or whatever Garmadon just did... and now they know of my powers... I'm doomed.
*No POV*
The group walked back to camp, finding Zane's father, waiting surprised.
"What was that sound? The horns?"
"The Celestial Clock has reached zero. Garmadon's Ultimate Weapon is now operational. And the final battle between good and evil has all but begun," Wu answered.
"Now Lloyd must face his father," Misako said.
"But where's Nya and Scarlett?" the doctor asked.
"They've been taken by the Overlord. But we'll get them back. But right now, there are bigger things at stake... including all of Ninjago itself."
"Bigger things? What bigger things?" Red stepped forward. "My sister's powers are in the hands of evil! We cannot let them have it!"
"Forget her powers, we need her back!" Kai shook his head. "She's more important than any element. And Nya..."
"Nya was my... my... you know!" Jay lowered his mask, frowning.
"All three of you, shut up!" Cole put a hand to his forehead. "Nya's a strong woman. She's tough, and can get through this. And for crying out loud, Scarlett's a ninja! She doesn't need her boyfriend going to her rescue all the time, and she doesn't need her brother to baby her. She's grown up, whether you like it or not. She can get through this just as much as Nya can."
"We will get them back," Zane agreed. "But we must be on the top of our game to do so."
"If I was stronger, this wouldn't have happened..." Lloyd looked down. "Isn't Scarlett supposed to help me through this? It's my fault she's gone..."
"Lloyd." Wu looked at his nephew. "Your focus gives strength to invoking the power of the Golden Dragon. You cannot lose faith now. Everything rests on your shoulders."
"But Sensei, you saw what happened when I tried to face my father! I- I froze! I can't fight him..." He frowned.
"You must! It is written in the scrolls."
"Remember, your father is just as scared." Misako put a hand on her son's shoulder.
"Then the battle will be decided by who is willing to fight."
"You won't be alone." Kai stood his sword that burst into flames. "I'll be right behind you. You have my fire."
Cole did the same. "You have my earth."
"And my ice." Zane stood next to Cole.
"And lightning," Jay finished.
"I may not be a ninja..." Red held out his hand with dark magic. "But you have my support as well, Lloyd."
"We're all in this together, kid." Cole nodded.
"What are we waiting for? Let's suit up!" Lloyd put his fist in the air.
Once the ninja were ready, they ran into the forest, going to Garmadon's camp.
"Get down," Lloyd said.
"They won't know what hit them." Kai grinned.
"Time to chop wood." Jay grinned.
"NINJA-GO!"
When everyone broke the wood and ran inside, everything was empty.
"Uh, where the hell is everyone?" Jay asked.
"Great. And here I was all ready to release the thunder!" Cole whined.
"The Ultimate Weapon is gone. We're too late!" Kai started walking forward. "Nya, Scarlett?"
Upon walking, Zane looked up. "My falcon friend wants to show us something."
It flew past the camp, revealing a lot of damage in the woods. Lloyd stared in shock. "Whoa... that's one big weapon."
"It appears to be heading toward the coast," Zane said.
"But why?" Lloyd asked. "Wouldn't he try to use it on us?"
"Not on us." Wu shook his head. "On Ninjago. He always wanted to turn our world into his own image. Now we know how it will be done."
"But if he starts turning things evil, the balance will shift and allow the Overlord to cross over into our world!" Misako explained.
"Then we have to make sure my father never fires that weapon!"
The group started running, but got held back by Zane's father, who stayed back, catching his breath.
"Father!" The nindroid walked over to him.
"You go on without me." The inventor waved his son off. "I'm an inventor, not a fighter. I'll only get in the way."
"But what will you do?" Zane asked.
"I'll be back at the Bounty, waiting for you to return in one piece." He smiled, putting his hands on his shoulders. "But don't worry. A part of me will always be with you."
"Be well, father."
"Be safe." And the inventor waved to everyone running away.
And into the forest, Jay started the conversation. "Uh... is anyone else thinking how his might be our final fight together?"
"Yeah."
"Of course."
"It's all I've been thinking about."
"We've come a long way. It wasn't that long ago when Sensei first found us." Kai smiled.
"Hey, you remember that time Kai thought he was the Green Ninja?" Jay said. Everyone laughed.
"That was quite the memory." Zane chuckled.
"He was so not!" Cole laughed.
Zane brought up the next one. "Or what about when the Hypnobrai hypnotized Cole, and we had to fight him?"
"We should've just kicked his ass!" Kai laughed.
"Heh, you had to destroy my treehouse!" Lloyd smiled.
"Or how about that time Sensei came out of the guts of the Devourer's belly, drinking tea?" Zane spoke again.
"Oh, that was so gross!" Cole grimaced.
"That sounds like a horrible fate." Red chuckled.
"Yeah, I thought he was a goner!" Jay agreed.
Then Cole bumped into someone, and the two fell.
"S- Scarlett?!" Cole flinched, his eyes widening when he saw her.
"Cole!" The scarlet ninja smiled. "I found you guys!"
"Yeah, before the reunion, we're kind of in a tight spot. So could you get off?"
"Oh, right." Scarlett stood up. "Sorry."
"You're here!" Both Kai and Red went up to her, engulfing her in a hug. Considering she was smaller than the both of them, she was almost obscured from view.
She smiled. "Thank goodness I found you guys..."
Zane pushed the two away from her. "It would be wise for her to catch her breath... she seems to have been running for some time."
"We're glad you're back, Scarlett." Lloyd gave her a smile, even though it wasn't visible through the mask. She looked at him and nodded.
"Me too... but we have a problem! Nya, she..."
"What happened?" Jay asked.
"You were right..." Scarlett looked over to Wu and Misako. "Once the enemy found out about my powers, they wouldn't let me go. They wanted me to be their ally, and they tried putting some dark stuff on me... and Nya, she took the hit and she... she told me to run away."
"It's not your fault." Lloyd put a hand on her shoulder. She looked up at him in surprise. "If you hadn't listened to her, you would've been held captive, too. You did the right thing."
"You know, I swear someone said that to you." Scarlett grinned.
"Someone important to me." Lloyd did the same.
"Are we missing something here?" Cole asked, stepping up.
"We're glad to have you back unharmed, Scarlett." Wu nodded to her. "We need to get to the coast. Garmadon has his Ultimate Weapon, and we need to stop him."
"Count me in."
A shadow then ran past us.
"Something's wrong here..." Cole said.
"Where, where?!" Jay looked around.
"Did I just see...?" Kai couldn't finish.
"I sense an evil presence..." Zane told them.
"Where, where?!" Jay shrieked again.
"Above us!" Wu shouted, looking up.
"It's her..." Scarlett hung onto Kai's arm, her eyes widening.
"It's who?" Lloyd asked.
"It's—!" She didn't say the rest as she was hit by spinjitzu the same color as hers.
"Scarlett!" Kai helped her to her feet.
The spinjitzu then tripped Lloyd. Kai glared. "No one does that to the Green Ninja!"
The one in the tornado then appeared to be Nya, although completely dark with purple eyes.
"Nya!" Jay reached out for her.
"That is not Nya." Wu stood in front of him.
"What did he do to my sister?!" Kai was as angry as Jay.
"He must have used the Ultimate Weapon to turn her into his own evil image!" Misako answered.
"Garmadon must have sent her to slow us down. We have to stop them from firing that weapon!" Wu said.
"Well, what are we supposed to do, use our elemental powers on her?" Cole asked.
"No, I don't want to hurt her!" Jay shook his head.
"Jay's right. We just have to find a way to keep her from—" Kai was cut off by Nya hurting him in the head with her spiked wrecking ball. "—hurting us..."
"Well we should think of something before Garmadon fires that weapon!" Zane yelled.
"Lloyd, you go on up ahead with Sensei and Misako, while we take care of Nya!" Cole told him.
"But... you said you'd always be behind me." Lloyd frowned.
"Scarlett will go with you. That way, you have one of us." Red nodded.
"We'll catch up as soon as we can," Kai added.
"The ninja are right," Wu said. "We must go."
"Let's go, Lloyd! We'll be right behind you!" Scarlett told him.
The four then ran off to the coast, leaving the ninja and Red to fight Nya.
She saw them running and tried to throw her wrecking ball, but Cole grabbed it. "Not so fast, sweetheart. This dance ain't over!"
He threw the chain to the side, but Nya landed on her feet. And Cole went for the Triple Tiger Sashay move, but she stopped him with some type of force and he landed back on the ground.
Nya cracked the bones in his hands, causing Cole to cry out in pain. She then flipped him over and kicked him like a bowling ball—he knocked down the rest of the ninja.
Red kicked her to the side. "I hate to fight you, Nya!"
She rose to her feet, glaring at him. She picked up her weapon and ran toward Red, swinging the wrecking ball.
The dark magic around his fingers swirled around her, and soon, the weapon disappeared.
"Alright, nice going, bud!" Cole grinned.
Red flipped back toward the boys. "Let's do this!"
Nya screeched, and the boys ran toward her, yelling as a group.
