xi | Chaotic Clones

The four ninjas woke up with massive migraines and blurry vision.

When they all awoke at the same time, they found themselves surrounded by a couple of concerned adults.

"Oh, thank goodness you're here!" a man with white hair and glasses exclaimed.

Kai rubbed his head. "What happened? Where's Lloyd? And... who are all of you?"

An older woman with a purple scarf held her hands together over her chest. "We're the teachers, and we've all been taken prisoner! We tried to teach the boys how to be good, but they overthrew us. They're monsters!"

Jay stood up with a frown. "But I thought Lloyd was getting an honorary degree?"

"Oh," the first man dismissed him, "that was the boys' trick to lure Lloyd here and convince him to be their leader."

"What?"

Cole felt like his entire world came crashing down. He nearly trampled his blue companion to grab the man by the shoulders. "There's not gonna be cake!?"

And poor Lloyd was tied up in a completely different room. His brain almost burst when Brad flickered on the lightbulb.

"Welcome to your ceremony, Lloyd. Or should I call it an evil intervention!"

Behind him stood a handful of other little boys his age, smirking as if they had already won.

The ninja in green squirmed, but to no avail. "Where are my friends?"

"Aw, they're better off without you," Gene waved his worry off. "With friends like you, who needs enemies?"

"You may have forgotten, but we're your true friends." Brad began to walk toward his former classmate, placing a hand on his left shoulder. "And we want to help you undo the damage you've done to yourself and our school's reputation."

He leaned in close, his snarky grin wide. "Be honest... doesn't a part of you miss being bad?"

This was going to be a rough one.

The second Garmadon released his Bizarro Ninja into the wild, they acted like animals in the streets.

Wearing sunglasses, they began to terrorize the citizens. Some of them were tame, like Zane releasing a bunch of money out of an ATM and Cole robbing one of the remaining skeleton warriors of his cotton candy.

Others were a little worse. Kai thought it was hilarious to hang an old lady on a tree branch by her shirt collar. Jay gravely used his powers to mess with the traffic lights.

Horns went off and cars crashed into each other. The four laughed among themselves as they heard adults screaming and a child's cry. They didn't care to find out who exactly the sudden blood on the ground came from.

Strutting on the road like it was no one's business, the terrorists left the scene of the crime and moved on to their next victim.

"Remember," Kai began, "we must find the Ninja."

Scarlett opened the sliding door of Dareth's main dojo, finding Wu walking toward the middle with a broom and dustpan. Just coming back from her meeting, she was out of her ninja suit and in her previous casual outfit once again: that black bodysuit, opaque tights, black boots and arm sleeves.

"Scarlett," he greeted, "you're back early."

"Yeah, the meeting ended earlier than I thought." She sent him a bright smile as she placed her phone down on Dareth's shelf without looking. "But we got our stuff done! What are you about to do?"

"Well, someone must clean up this broken glass before we get seriously hurt," the sensei replied.

She held her hands out. "Gimme. I can do it."

He blinked. "It's no problem."

"Come on, you do just about everything for us. Let me handle cleaning this. I heard Dareth say he was saving you a spot at that new cotton candy cart that just opened in the center of the city."

This made him freeze and lift his gaze from the floor. "Really?"

She smiled at his mood change. "Yes. For once Ninjago City is actually not dealing with some crazy stuff. Go enjoy yourself."

He was quick to hand her the cleaning objects. "You don't have to tell me twice!"

Scarlett lightly giggled once he left the training room in a hurry. Everyone had their weak spots.

As she started to sweep the broken glass into the dustpan, she debated on whether to change back into her ninja suit before heading to Nya.

The teen didn't hear the whispering voices outside the sliding door. She lifted the dustpan over the trash bin in the left corner of the room and allowed the shattered pieces to fall in.

Her eyes caught a glowing device on the bottom level of Dareth's shelf of phony trophies. Putting the cleaning supplies down, she clicked the button on the bottom of the screen.

A picture of Jay and Nya came up. Immediately knowing whose phone it was, her lips curved up. He was so in love.

But she then got annoyed at the fact that the blue ninja left his phone here. The fuck did she buy him it for?

That's when the door opened. Scarlett glanced up to find Kai peeking in. He was hesitant to walk in at first, which was strange.

But she still sent him a gentle grin. "Hey, you. Where's everyone else?"

He adjusted the sunglasses he wore over his eyes before walking inside. "Oh, they went to that little cart in the center of the city. I think it has cotton candy or something."

Her heart fluttered at the idea of them taking care of the child. They were adorable. "Aw, that's cute. I'm sure Lloyd's gonna really enjoy it."

She didn't catch his temporary look of confusion at the name. But he made sure to fix it.

"Uh, yeah. So you here alone?"

She couldn't help but raise her eyebrows. Yet she was still amused. "I mean, yeah. Sensei just left to have some sweets, so he'll probably catch you guys there. Nya's still at work, and I was actually about to go meet her... and then—"

Now he stepped closer, a wild smirk creeping up his lips. "So you're here alone."

"As of right now..." She leaned against the shelf, not moving an inch. "Why do you ask?"

He ran his hand through her hair and on the back of her head, leading down to her neck. Using his fingers, he pulled her head forward and leaned down to kiss her lips.

She closed her eyes, reaching her hands up to his hair. Kai was quick to open his mouth and push his body against hers.

That was a little unexpected. All it took was one purposeful step backward from her and he was able to keep her against the wall.

Scarlett lightly shoved him away only a mere inch, silently catching her breath as her cheeks flushed a bright pink. She looked up at him, letting out an entertained giggle. "Hey, what are you doing?"

"You don't need me to tell you, do you?" He lowly chuckled before impatiently and deeply pressing his lips to hers again.

She couldn't stop herself from returning the intimate gesture. There was a sort of hunger the way he captured her mouth completely, his hands gripping her hips and moving further back.

She'd let him do whatever he pleased if one little thing didn't bother her. She grabbed each side of his jaw and pushed his face away again, unable to contain her slight laughter. "Kai, aren't you afraid of someone coming in? They shouldn't be too long."

"I don't really care too much," he bluntly responded. He once again seized her neck by the front this time, tilting her head to the left with his thumb. Instead of her lips, he now placed deep kisses on her jaw, slowly moving down.

She released a small breath of arousal, grabbing his shoulder; it was the first thing she could feel. Her entire body started to feel very warm as she felt him gently bite down. Despite her in a vulnerable position, the teen still grinned.

"You go out, come back with some cool sunglasses and you think you're all bad now?"

The ninja ran both of his hands down her body as he lifted his head and got on one knee. They stopped to hold her upper thighs. He looked up at her.

"Not as bad as you," he muttered as he began to kiss the inside of her thighs. The higher he got, the warmer it was. The only thing separating her skin from his lips were her extremely thin tights, which didn't bother him at all.

Scarlett covered her mouth with her hand, incapable of doing anything but staring down at him with her cheeks darkening by the second. He won.

"Kai, you..." Her words came out low and muffled.

His fingers slid under her bodysuit right at her hamstrings. He moved his hand to hold her backside.

There was a sly smirk on his face. "You make me forget where I was all day." He lifted his head, licking his upper lip. "Can you remind me?"

She tried to form words over the raging emotions she felt. The only thing she wanted was for him to take her away from the dojo and somewhere she can verbally release her stimulation.

Her right hand began to slide over the sleeveless strap on her left shoulder, slowly dragging it down her tricep. She was getting hot. "Clearly letting you go to Darkley's was a bad idea."

His lips were once again on her inner thighs and only getting closer to the more private area. "Darkley's, huh?"

Scarlett couldn't take it anymore. She grabbed a chunk of his hair and forced him to once again look up at her. "Kai, please get me out of here."

He chuckled at her enthusiasm. "Sure."

But she froze. His sunglasses had fallen just an inch under the bridge of his nose, revealing bright, red eyes instead of the amber ones she was so used to.

"Wah!" she shrieked as she instinctively kicked him away from her.

The sudden punt knocked him off balance. He fell on his back a few feet away.

She quickly slid the strap back on her shoulder. Any feeling of arousal was very much replaced with concern and the slightest bit of fear. She kept her back against the wall, eyes wide.

"You... you're not Kai."

"What are you talking about?" He got to his feet, still having that stupid, cocky smirk on his face. "Yes I am."

Scarlett gulped, unable to believe she let whoever this imposter was touch her the way he did.

Then that fueled her with anger. How embarrassing.

And so she lit her palm up with a dark flame. "You dick!"

Before she could launch it at him, a very heavy punching bag was thrown at her. The object flung her against the wall on the other side of the room.

The wind was completely taken out of her. For a moment, she couldn't breathe correctly.

Cole was just putting his hands down from the door. He wiped them in the air.

"Good aim," Zane complimented. He stood behind him.

Jay then came in as well, walking toward her. He was the first to insultingly remove his sunglasses to leer down at her.

"She got powers?" he questioned.

Cole smacked him behind the head. "So do we, dumbass."

"I know we do, asshole! Hers seems cooler."

Their little argument allowed her time to somewhat recover. She slapped her left hand on the bag, creating a flame large enough to burn it to bits and give her relief.

She'd compensate Dareth later.

"Because it is cooler, you sack of pussies," she snapped, rising to her feet. She rubbed her stomach, inhaling a deep breath. "You guys fucking suck."

"The fuck did you just call us?" Kai bitterly questioned. He was the first to clench his fists, the others following.

Scarlett squared up. One thing about her was that she did not take back anything she said even in the worst of situations. "I said you guys are a fat sack of pussies."

Cole looked way more intimidating as he also stood in a fighting stance. "You think you can beat all four of us? A little bit of fire ain't scary."

Truthfully, she had zero faith she could take them all on at once in a melee match. However, she had one singular advantage over them and she planned to use it.

The teen created another flaming fist. "Bite me, bitch."

Kai grinned. "I already did."

Her face immediately began to heat up at the memory of less than five minutes ago. The fire in her hand disappeared.

That's when Jay took the first opportunity to give her a nice jab in the face. She stumbled back right into the wall, her hands flying to cover her nose.

"Oh, fuck you!" she cursed, regaining her previous composure. "If you're gonna hit me, don't do it in the face! I have a shoot next week."

Kai dove in to tackle her. She managed to swerve to the side, throwing a fireball at the group. There was no target whatsoever, and so the four were able to dodge with ease.

The flame hit the shelf of trophies. As it began to spread, she gasped. Fortunately, she held her hands out and controlled the element down to a simmer.

"That can't be real," Jay uttered.

Zane wasn't here for idle chit chat and picked up a pair of silver shurikens. He launched them both at her, planning on having each tip of the weapons cut through the fabric of her clothes and attaching her to the wall.

Two problems. One, her clothes were not the least bit loose, and so it would have nothing to hang on to. Second, her bodysuit was sleeveless. And so instead of catching the itty bitty piece of fabric on her shoulders, they cut the skin and pierced the wall behind her.

Scarlett gasped, staring down at both injuries that began to bleed. Though they weren't deep wounds, they still stung.

"Fuck," she muttered to herself as she clenched her fists to try to distract her mind from the pain.

By the time she looked up, Jay, Cole, and Zane had new weapons in their hands.

Kai was nowhere to be found because he was right behind her. With a sword in his possession, he kicked her in the back.

She didn't even have a chance to process what was going to happen before the tip of his blade was at her neck. She looked up at him.

The other three stood behind her in case she tried something funny. Basically, she was surrounded.

The clone in red leaned down to almost meet her level. He lifted the sunglasses, now intentionally revealing his bright red pupils. "You just their friend with flashy powers, or are you a ninja too?"

She may not have known how to properly engage without her powers yet, but she wasn't a coward. "Yeah. I'm a ninja. What's it to you?"

"It's your unlucky day, then." He dared to almost prod that blade into her throat, just inching it a smudge closer. "We've been sent to destroy the ninja."

If only Garmadon put all that effort he wasted on trying to destroy the ninja toward a goddamn vacation.

"So why don't we start with you?"

Scarlett swallowed at his threat. She was prepared to send a flame at him just as he lifted the sword.

Until a wave of dark, purple magic flew and hit the ninja right in the chest. It knocked him into the wall. Both the teen and the group of standing bizarro ninjas flinched and faced the doorway.

There stood Red, who glared at them all. "What the hell is going on?"

"Great. Another psycho," Jay mumbled.

She was simply flabbergasted. "Where the fuck have you been all day!?"

He blinked and grabbed onto his left shoulder. "I was sleeping. That was one of the best I've ever had in my life... at the cost of uncomfortable soreness."

"It's four against two, asswipe," Kai insulted as he rose, now raising his sword and pointing it at him.

"Asswipe?" Red was actually offended. "I should kill you."

"Don't call my brother an asswipe, you bitch!" Scarlett scooted toward the false ninja and lifted her knee, sending a kick right at his.

His left knee locking in the most horrendous way, Kai inhaled a sharp breath at the strange feeling that shot both up and down his leg and indecisively dropped the blade.

The teen crawled away before the other three could lay their weapons down on her. Her first instinct was to search for her phone that was somewhere in the room.

Red launched another ball of dark magic at the group already running toward him. Zane swerved out of the way and launched his shurikens right at his chest.

Placing his knuckles on it, magic released from his palms. Just as the weapons reached his close vicinity, the power absorbed and completely made them disappear.

Even he was surprised at this, for it was the first time it had ever happened. "Oh... the old man was right."

Zane stopped. Jay and Cole did the same.

"Oh hell no. I'm not fucking with that," the fake in black admitted.

"Well, it's kill or be killed," Jay bluntly stated as he rushed at their new opponent with a sword.

Red leaned back to avoid the incoming attack. He threw a cross at his face, hitting him square in the nose. His glasses cracked.

On the other end, Scarlett finally found her cell on Dareth's trophy shelf. As soon as she grabbed it, Kai kicked her away.

Fortunately, she had a tight grip. Before the rest came for her, she began to search for the first ninja she could find to warn them of Garmadon's creations.

Cole stood in front of her next to his friend in red. "What, you calling your friends to come help?"

"No, they're too far to help." She confidently grinned. "But knowing you'll be going for them, I can at least warn them so they're prepared."

Except she didn't exactly pay attention to who she was calling. When she heard a vibration somewhere in the room, her eyes darted to the shelf where she found Jay's forgotten phone going off.

She then glanced at her screen. It read jay.

She wanted to cry.

Her new instinct was to just hold out an enormous flame in front of her so they could back the fuck up. "That's okay! I'll just... call the others!"

Because she called his phone, another incoming call was immediately cancelled. And that led to a voicemail suddenly speaking throughout the room loud enough to make everyone stop in their tracks.

"Hey, Jay! Just wondering if you were done yet... don't forget about coming to the autobody shop! See you there!"

Scarlett's flame went out. Jay had Red in a headlock, both unmoving. The other three only found themselves staring down at the teen, bodies frozen as they listened to the sweet voice of the samurai.

"God damn it," the model muttered.

Zane smirked. "We already know where the Ninja are. If we catch them now, unsuspecting, we can deal with her later."

Cole immediately waved her goodbye. "See ya later. When we get rid of the good ninjas, you'll be the last to go."

Scarlett scrambled to her feet as they simply walked away. "Hey, wait a minute! That isn't fair!"

Kai held her back by pointing his sword at her torso. She stopped before she impaled herself. "You stay here. Try calling them again, see if that bullshit works."

She swallowed. "It's better than nothing."

He let out a single, low chuckle. "I'll come back for you soon. Auto body shop... seems like we're gonna pick up some new wheels."

Jay released Red and just followed his teammates. "So we stopping there first?"

"Duh," the fake fire master responded, "so she doesn't get suspicious. But we gotta get you new glasses first, yours are busted."

The man fell on one knee to regain his balance after his very brief match with the bizarro.

They just headed out like nothing happened. Scarlett, in a final attempt to stop them, shot a flame at the exit.

Unfortunately, they were already out the door. She heard a little, "Fuck, she got my foot!" but nothing else.

Seeing as they were no longer coming back, she dropped to her knees. "Son of a bitch. Clearly I still suck."

She felt a strong pair of hands on her triceps. She looked up to find her brother smiling down at her.

"Did you defend me a little earlier?"

Scarlett almost punched him. "I'll never do it again if you don't get your hands off me."

He lightly laughed as he helped her to her feet. "You just started training, didn't you? Take it easy. You scared them with your fire, so they didn't engage you as much as they should've. You're doing well."

The teen slowly started to smile at his compliment. That's all it took. "Thanks."

But then a lightbulb went off in her brain as she gasped. "Nya!"

She leaped toward her phone and dialed her number as fast as she could.

Her brother frowned. "Perhaps you should worry about those little cuts on your shoulders first..."

That's when Dareth walked into the room with Wu right behind. The latter was enjoying a nice piece of pink cotton candy.

The peewee sensei, however, dramatically gasped. "What happened here!?"

¤ ¤

The samurai lifted her aluminum mask as she felt her phone vibrating in her pocket. However, she didn't bother to look at who was calling because the man she wanted to see strut in.

His humming is what caught her attention. She hopped off their large vehicle she worked on. "Oh, there you are!" She sent him a smile. "I was wondering when you'd get back, you're usually not late."

With a confident grin, he leaned against the front as he merely held his hand out to glance down at it. "It's a whole new me, baby."

Nya was a little confused, but she simply watched him look around. "Have you heard anything from Scarlett? I figured she would be here before you..."

Unbothered, he shrugged. "Nah, nothing. Took a trip back to the dojo before I came by and didn't see her."

She blinked.

The ninja stepped toward the Radar. He actually appeared impressed. He placed his hand on the large wheel. "Nice work! We should take it out for a spin." He then turned his head back, a wild smirk on his face. "Bet we could make a lot of people jealous."

Still sitting on the pole connecting the two parts together, she crossed one leg over the other. She couldn't help the small smile that creeped up her lips. "Huh."

"What?" Jay whirled around completely. He still kept up that cocky front as he licked his bottom lip. "Don't like the idea?"

"No, it's not that..." Nya twirled the key to the Radar once before hopping down. "I should've known spending time at Darkley's School would turn you into a bad boy."

He clicked his tongue as he adjusted his sunglasses. "Darkley's School? Is that where we were?"

His carefree and smug attitude made her smile widen. He made it seem like they did anything but that.

She let out a giggle, stepping closer to him. The hand holding the keys hid behind her back. She lifted the other on his face and toward his glasses, ready to take them off. "What's gotten into you?"

The samurai barely got the last word out as he snatched her waist and dipped her, locking his lips with hers rather roughly.

A gasp escaped her throat as she nearly fell. Nya grasped his shoulder with her free hand. She hated to admit it, but she grew accustomed to his actions rather quickly and not only closed her eyes, but returned the deep kiss as her gasp finished with a quiet, short moan.

Though he knew he had a mission, Jay allowed himself a few more seconds of paradise before sliding his fingers through her occupied ones. She didn't even notice him sneakily prying the keys out of her hand.

When the ninja unfortunately had to pull away, she felt like she was in the clouds. No one had ever touched her like that before, let alone kissed her. She had trouble staying on her two feet.

"It's a bad boy thing," was his reply to her previous question. He hopped into the newly fixed vehicle, starting the fiery engine.

Jay popped his head out, his cocky smirk never leaving his face as he pointed down at her. "I'll be back for you." With that, he closed the transparent cap with a single press of a button and didn't hesitate to drive out of that garage.

To say that Nya was shocked was an understatement. She was over the surprised aspect of the situation and now moved to both unsatisfied and craving far more of him.

With a giant, beaming smile, she held on to the frame as she watched him drive away. The logistics of the situation didn't hit her yet as she was still in a daze.

"Call me!" she managed to shout out despite him being long gone. "Please."
