Chapter 7

Who do you guys  see as the characters? #random.

"Alia?" I smile at her. That same smile turns into a frown when I see her eyes glistening with tears.

"Alia? What happened, are you okay?" I start questioning before I could stop myself. Alia raises a hand to her forehead, holding it gently as she looks towards the ground. Her arm restes on a table When I don't get a reply, I look behind me to see a chair.

I'm back inside, happy to be away from every memory that came along with that one location. I managed to get lost easily and found my way into the dinning hall where Alia is sobbing her make up off. Mascara is running down her cheeks in two straight lines and she wipes it off quickly with her heads, leaving black smudges on her hands and cheeks.

Unlike most other gentlemen in movies, I don't have any handkerchief or anything to offer. It's not like Alia minded the black tears or the ruined make up. She looks utterly destroyed and I do nothing to help her but to watch.

Just watch the show and dare to hope everything is okay.

I honked the horn over and over, cursing everyone in the traffic as I watched my watch. Every second costed everything I had. When the last car disappeared, I tried following Addhya's road to see where she was. The phone wasn't disconnected and I held it tightly in my hand as my heart raced.

It couldn't be true. She wasn't dead. . . The man had to be lying. I angrily wipe a tear away from my cheek, promising myself that she's okay.

I had to drive the car up the road twice, my heart racing too fast to see her car crashed on the side. When I got out of the cat, my heart dropped seeing the health of the car. It was rammed in the tree, looking it over. A branch dangerously loomed over the left of the car, threatening to fall. I jogged to the scene, holding my breath in and the ideas at bay. Every single outcome seemed impossible and ended with death.

I hold the door open to only to see blood. Addhya sat at the seat, her lips battered and bruised. A blue bruise coated her cheek while her black hair stuck to her cheeks. Her hand was leaning over the passenger seat as if she was trying to get something. As soon as she saw me, her eyes opened wider. The usual light in her eyes seemed dull and every breath she took was slowly as if it was pained.

"Addhya," I said slowly, taking in everything. This shouldn't be happening to her. She deserved a long and happy future, not this fate. I can't help but to blame myself. She wouldn't be sitting at this seat if it wasn't for me. Her life would have been long and fulfilling, she'd be happy without me. I was the villain of her story, the only reason why she's here.

The same villain who loved her, who couldn't help but to die with her as she took her last breathes.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine," I lied, my voice breaking in th middle of the sentence. "I'll call the ambulance, they'll come and you'll live. You'll be happy, just hold on."

I had no choice but to hope for the best as sunk into dispair.

"He isn't who he seemed," Alia spoke softly, snapping me out of memories.

"What do you mean?" I ask, watching her wipe away her tears with a napkin. The napkin takes away her foundation as well, showcasing her bloated skin. She looks tired, tired of everything.

"Amir. I saw him with another girl today, getting - " she cuts off her sentence, her gaze set on the floor. "He was kissing her, saying that he was going to end off his relationship with me as soon as he could."

"Today?" I ask, startled. On their engagement?

"I don't know. It was just a video, wait, I'll show you," Alia says, frowning as she brings out her phone. She passes it into my hands, showing me a text message. I play the video, squirming to make out Amir's figure.

As the video plays, it becomes obvious that it is Amir, his tone and tho voice is the exact same as his. His body figure semt to fit it as well. The girl on the other hand is covered by Amir's back.

Due to the blurry quality, I can't make out if it is a video shot today or not. Amir is wearing black today as well. I close the video when it gets heated and pass it back to Alia.

"I'm sorry. Amir never seemed like a good guy," I answer honestly. "It's better that you found out now not ten years later when you've already married him."

Alia sighs, holding her dress as she plays with the ruffles. "I suppose so," she says, her voice barely a whisper. I smile at her, a tight lipped one as I walked out of the room.
