He slammed his fist onto the table. "DAMMIT!" His other hand gripping his hair.  A voice from across the table began to speak "Will you need to calm down." "I know Niki. But its the third time! The third time those villains got away! Fuck.." "Its not that bad though! On the bright side they aren't dangerous. Just a bit pesky." He sighed before planting his face on the table. Niki opened her phone to text Crow Father something.

Just then a waiter walked by. "Hi! Welcome to Stardust café, how my I help you?" Niki turned to look at the waiter. She gave her a kind smile. "Hi! Can I get some sweet hibiscus tea please?" The waiter wrote something down on her notepad. "Of course! What about you?" She turned to Wilbur. He raised his hand. "One black coffee please." His voice sounded muffled through the wooden table. "Alright! Ill be back with your orders shortly." The waiter smiled before turning away and walking to the back area.

Niki snorted. "Seriously? Black coffee?" Wilbur looked up and pouted. "Whaaat, its not that bad. Personally I think tea is too sweet." "Thats why its in the name Will. You can make it sweet. Just like coffee. You don't have to always be some sort of edge lord you weirdo."

Wilbur looked up and sighed. "We still have to find my damn laptop.." "Its just a laptop." He scoffed. Sure it was just a laptop that he could very much easily replace but its also his. Then again Niki has a point.

Recently a group of villains appeared out of nowhere. So far the only known names are Innit and Apis. A third member is known to be in the group but no one seems to catch a look at them in time. Some heros suspect that there might be more members.. fun.

He looked at Niki again noticing her concentrating on her phone. "What are you doing?" She glanced up for a second before looking back down. "Security footage. I'm trying to find out where they went. Its not like any villain could ever vanish into thin air." "Actually, there was once that villain that could go invisible... what was his name? Wasn't it like, antlers or some stupid shit." Niki was thanking the waiter for bringing them their drinks. She took a sip of tea before speaking. "Callahan. He would go invisible for like 3 minutes at a time I believe." He sighed and smiled. "This is why I love having you as my partner." He gulped down some of his bitter ass coffee. Niki rolled her eyes.

"Who the fuck even were they??" "Really Will?" He scoffed. "Thats not what I meant, like who are they really? They sounded too young to be villains yet there they were.." "Wilbur you looking into it too much. Its just some new villains we'll eventually need to catch."

The rest of the afternoon was normal. They sat there and had normal conversations while enjoying their drinks. The topic of villains appearing every once in a while but soon disappearing as fast as they came. Wilbur missed these days. Being able to calmly hang out with a friend. Sadly work has become way too much now, especially with that other villain group that had also recently appeared. The so called "Dream Team." What a bunch if self absorbed fucks. Especially their leader, Dream.

The guy wore mask that covered his face. His hair and obvious goat features peaking out anyways. His two companions Sapnap and Mr.NotFound seemed to follow him everywhere. Their group were based around fucking with the mind. Dream could make you fall asleep. Your dreams would be infected with your worst nightmares. Funny aint it? Sapnap was the most normal out of the trio. He can control fires. Luckily he cant start them, thats why he always carries a lighter with him. And finally, Mr.NotFound. An illusionist. He could make you see things that werent there, it's terrifying. Wilbur and Niki were one of the pairs assigned on the project. The others being "The Blade" and "Crow Father".

They were supposed to figure out the Villains real identities and then jail them. Yeah they haven't really gotten close yet..

Welp. Its longer than the last chapter? Not 1k (717) but yknow.
