Turns out Laurel is right.

Sara is a good mother.

With the help of Laurel and Matt, Sara was raising Leonard Quentin Lance great all by herself.

Laurel was spending more time with Matt, and she had apologized to Karen for not showing up.

Laurel and Matt sat in Central Park, having a picnic. "This is so stereotypical." Laurel chuckles.

Matt laughs. "With what happened over the past couple of weeks, I could use stereotypical."

Laurel kisses Matt on the cheek. "I agree."

She sees Caitlin walk by, and they make eye contact. "Hey Laurel!" Caitlin grins.

"Get Cait." Laurel hugs her. "This is Matt." She introduces her to him.

"Hello." She smiles at him.

"It's nice to meet you." Caitlin grins. "Hey Laurel... can I talk to you?"

"Of course."

"I work with the Avengers now." Caitlin says.

"What? Holy shit! That's huge!"

"Thank you." Caitlin says. "And..."

"What?"

"Have you heard of the Winter Soldier?"

"Of course."

"Well... he and I are together." She grins.

"That's amazing!" Laurel grins. "Congrats on the job!" She hugs her friend.

"Thank you again." Caitlin smiles. "I have to go."

"Be safe." Laure says.

"I will."

"Tell Kara I said hello."

"I will."

Laurel sits back down on the ground. Matt wraps his arms around her, and she cuddles closer to him. "I hope I'm giving you a good life." Matt murmurs.

"You are." She looks up at him. His red sunglasses reflect the sunlight. She pulls out her phone, and texts Sara.

How's Leo?

I finally got him to go to sleep

I want to take a nap but I'm afraid Leo is going to start crying and I'm not going to hear him.

Do you want me to come home?

Matt moves so Laurel is sitting in front of him. "This is going to sound weird, but can I touch your face?"

She laughs. "It does, but you can." She guides his hands up to her face. He delicately touches every part of her face.

Her nose, her chin, her cheeks, her forehead.

She pulls him close to her, and kisses him. "I love you." She murmurs.

"I love you too." He smiles at her.
