Laurel sighs as she lays in her bed.

It was been a week since she had been released from the hospital. Trish is staying in Laurel's apartment so she could be safe.

She sighs, and gets out of her bed. "Do you need anything?" Trish looks at her.

"I'm okay. Thank you." Laurel nods. "You should be in bed resting."

"I'm going crazy just laying around." Laurel complains. "I have a job interview anyway."

"For where?" Trish asks.

"Nelson and Murdock."

"Ah. They're a small firm, but they're good at what they do."

Laurel nods again. "I did my homework."

Trish rolls her eyes. "Go get ready."

"I am." Laurel gets changed into a black dress with black heels. She brushes her hair, and lets it fall at her shoulders. She puts on makeup, and she's ready to go. "How do I look?" She spins, and laughs.

Trish laughs. "Matt Murdock isn't going to know what hit him."

"Isn't he blind?"

"That's the point, Laur." Trish laughs.

"Oh, okay." Laurel chuckles. "I gotta go."

"Go get 'em tiger."

Laurel arrives at Nelson & Murdock. She walks up the stairs, and into the office. A blonde woman greets her. "Hello Miss Lance, I'm Karen Page, we spoke on the phone?"

"Yes, I remember." Laurel smiles at Karen.

"Who's there Karen?" Calls out a man. He walks into the room, and Laurel sucks in her breath.

"Matt, this is Laurel Lance. She's here for the interview." So this was Matt Murdock. He wasn't what she imagined.

"Nice to meet you, Miss Lance." He holds out his hand for her to shake.

"Uh, hi! You can call me Laurel." She blushes as she takes his hand.

"You have the job."

"Wait, what?" Laurel and Karen say in unison.

"I've heard of what you can do, Laurel." Matt says.

"Oh, okay!"

"You start next week."

"I'll see you next week." She waves at Karen, and smiles.
