Two
Isadora
I sit with my friends, drinking and subtly watch Adrian talking with Sebastian...Beautiful. I twist my ring and look at Axel whose clapping his hands to get everyone's attention.
"Hey everyone, welcome to my party!" He hoots and everyone cheers in response. "Due to the fact I'm such a good friend and host," He shoots daggers at Sebastian who gives a half smile in response before holding up a bowl with his keys with a sword keyring. "We're going to play Seven minutes in Heaven and since there's more girls than boys, some of the girls are going to have to be in the closet with others girls. Who wants to volunteer? This will not be counted as you being bisexual or lesbian since you don't have to kiss or anything." I stand up and take off my bracelett.
"I'm secure enough for this," I plop my braceltt into the bowl. "Besides, I don't need a game to get a boy to kiss me." I wink at Axel, hoping that my acting is good enough before locking eyes with Adrian for a long moment. My friends put their rings in and boys put various things in the bowl. Axel offers Adrian the bowl and she reaches in, seacrhing around before holding up my bracelett.
"So...Adrian and Isadora then," Axel leads us over to the closet and opens it with a bow. "Seven minutes." We get in and he closes the door, all light disappearing with him. I fumble to get my phone out and put on the torch.
"Adrian?" She steps out of the shadows in front of me, her face closed and puts my bracelett on me. "I just want to talk." She steps closer, only a breath between us.
"I don't," She says under her breath before kissing me. Memories flood back to me as we kiss, blue curtains, green eyes and our lips. She presses me against the door before pulling away, looking sad and I realise what the kiss meant. "I love Sebastian and...I can't kiss you again...This is goodbye." She steps back and turns away from me.
"I love you."
"But I don't love you." I blink away tears and Axel knocks on the door.
"Time's up!" He opens the door and I hurry out of it, heading outside. "Something I said?"
Marian
I watch Isadora run out and frown at Adrian who robotically goes into the kitchen. I look at Sebastian who fishes out his ring and hurries off with an apology to Axel who sighs.
"I guess we're still playing," He walks over to me and offers me the bowl. I smile awkwardly and reach into the bowl. My fingers find something cool and metal. I pull it out to find a sword keyring...Axel's keyring. "Okay then...Uh, Zander, you wait outside for us?" Zander nods, his red curls covering his eyes. "Let's go, I guess, Marian." I follow him, hugging my cape around me and we go inside. The darkness embraces us and I sit down against the wall.
"I'm sorry you're in here with me," I look up when he turns on his phone. "There's probably a lot of other girls you'd like to be in here with." He shakes his head and sits beside me, our legs brushing before he moves slightly over.
"Not really. You're the only one who wouldn't stick their tongue down my throat without at least asking," He explains and I offer him a smile which he returns. "Just so that this is worth it for you," He scoots closer to me and rests his arm on his knees. "Do you want me to kiss you?" I blink and after a few moments, nod. He leans closer to me and his phone turns off as he kisses me gently. I kiss back and he buries his hands in my wig as he intensifies the kiss while my hands find his face. It's the kind of kiss that makes all other kisses seem like nothing, like I've been lost in the dark and finally found the light switch. He pulls away and I quickly move away, fixing my wig. "That was..." He begins hoarsely before trailing off and turning the phone on again.
"Yeah, it was," I smile at him and finish fixing my wig. "Thanks for the kiss. It did make this worth it." Axel opens his mouth but Zander knocks on the door and it swings open.
"Time!" We both scramble to our feet and I hurry out, meaning to go look for Adrian when a scream comes through the open window, pained and familiar. I must have moved to follow the scream because Zander grabs my arm.
"It's Sebastian! He went after Adrian! I have to go after them!" I screech but he pulls me out of the front door. I manage to shake him off and find somewhere away from everyone to twist my ring, letting Sherwood out.
Axel
I twist my ring and become Saber, barely out of sight. I watch Marian leave...Well at least I have one less person to worry about. I jump out the window and head towards the scream. I almost don't notice the girl beside me.
"Saber, you thinking what I'm thinking?" I nearly jump as Sherwood nudges me. "Catastrophe?" I shake my head thoughtfully.
"He's too smart. He turned someone," I look up to see Blaze do a superhero landing. "Anyone know who wasn't at the party?" Sherwood unfolds her bow.
"Adrian Fray, Sebastian Wyatt and Isadora Merryweather," She points at an unconscious Sebastian and I barely stop myself from running for him, if I ran for him, they would know. "I think we can rule out Sebastian." A sinister, high pitched laugh echoes around us and I turn as a girl wearing a blue white catsuit waltzes towards us, her every step freezing the ground. I pull out my saber and point it at her.
"Now, now, Saber. Don't you know what happens to metal when it's frozen," She flicks a finger and my saber freezes, making me drop it. I watch it as it shatters. "It breaks." Blaze steps forward and conjures a flame.
"Let's dance, Elsa." She purrs but I notice something off in her posture...Like she knows who it is.
