valentina sloan was average, not that it was a bad thing, but she was just — valentina. she was a quick witted, strong woman who had been through more than the average adult who was nearing their thirtieth trip around the sun.

" MEG'S NOTES "

• holy fuck, how i've fallen in love with diego while finishing s2, holy shit ✨long haired diego is elite

• i'm not sure if i'm gonna end up keeping this plot cos i really wanna write it but we'll see 😋

• this is gonna begin with a prologue, briefly explaining how valentina had been friends with diego for ages, and had begun to grow a suspicion about the hargreeves family as they all grew older. its going to end with explaining how val ended up at the opera house and essentially ends up getting dragged to the 1960s with the six adults (seven, including ben but-)

• val is going to have a strange feeling about lila when she's introduced, but of course ignores it for diego's sake, at least until five says something about his similar suspicion

• of course because this is set in season 2, the same plot involving lila is going to be into play ( obviously, otherwise this plot wouldn't make sense— )

• val & diego are extremely close considering how long they've known each other. they tell each other everything and really would die for each other

• val doesn't have feelings for diego in the beginning. she cares about him, but upon seeing his relationship with lila sprout extremely quickly, she begins to care for him more than she ever did, which leads to her developing feelings

• elliot is one of val's close friends, basically her only 'normal' friend in this timeline. he's the only person that she can essentially talk to without making herself seem crazy

• the mexican consulate party is a turning point for everyone. valentina tags along with diego, five, and lila just for the hell of it. all the self-defense classes she had taken were destined to pay off sometime, right?

• when the swedes appear, val takes note of lila choosing five instead of diego. this'll obviously spark a fight between the two over who lilia exactly is.

• elliot's death is going to be really hard on val . .

• end this however ! idk, i haven't really thought that much about an ending, which leaves lots of room for creativity !!
