florida — the universal vacation destination. teagan morales and steve harrington met on a fateful afternoon whilst playing an intense game of volleyball. through the duration of their vacations, teagan manages to sneak away from her family and ( steve escapes his friends, too ) to see each other. there was a special spark there, and neither had the heart to face reality.

when steve returns to hawkins, he finds out that teagan has always lived in the same town as him, but he never noticed. despite the seemingly cocky and direct guy everyone puts him to be, teagan creates an effect on him. although he wants to go up to he, he doesn't, and attempts to get her to notice him in many, many embarrassing trials. however, she really only notices him while he's working at scoops - not really the ideal mood. this then follows season 3's plot.

─ honestly tho, i think in the plot, teagan becomes best friends with robin BEFORE she sees steve. robin's sort of the rizzo in this plot. she knows that steve likes teagan, but doesn't tell him that she's lived her her entire life, idk may be just me
