" SYNOPSIS "

natalia turner was blindly optimistic. she often held onto the past, not recognizing the bells and whistles that negatively impacted her life. this, of course, included her no-good boyfriend who often hid under a blanket of lies.

nobody (especially her team mates) wanted to warn her that she'd end up hurt, natalia would always end up denying it.

when her co-worker and best friend emily prentiss begins to notice changes in her personality and the often instances where natalia's boyfriend is nowhere to be found, she attempts to step in. however, her feelings tended to get in the way. emily hated seeing natalia so upset, and knowing that she could treat her better than anyone else nearly killed her.

when natalia and her team travel to the bar after a particularly difficult case, it's only human nature when drunk secrets begin to be spilled. what nobody expected was for emily to do the one thing no one else wanted to and tell the cold truth about reagan's boyfriend.

• this is based off of just saying by 5sos cos clearly i get all my inspo from my middle school playlist now—

• i will literally marry emily prentiss myself. andrew step aside and let me marry her thank u 😔✨🧚‍♂️

• natalia is bisexual. i figured she would most likely tell emily, pen, and jj during one of their girl nights a few weeks before the fiasco happens !

• "it makes me sick to see you still with him, talia."

• of course because this is set in season 6, emily's lauren episode happens. obviously this will totally impact natalia and the team, and i definitely see this going into a sequel or a multi-act book.

• emily & natalia are super close, they practically live together with how often they're at each other's apartments

• emily's confession that she's liked natalia for a long time happens prior to her disappearance / "death"

• when emily disappears during the lauren episode, natalia begs penelope to give her emily's phone numbers and leaves a voice mail on every number. this is obvi gonna be super hard on emily

• when the team finds out that emily is alive, natalia relatively has the same reaction as spencer. she grows very distant and angry, knowing that she mourned emily's death and admitted to jj that she loved her all the while jj kept the secret that emily was alive

• end this however ! idk, i haven't really thought that much about an ending, which leaves lots of room for creativity !!
