synopsis ─ amara flores needed someone to depend on just as much as joe keery did. when they meet while filming the third season of stranger things, they find each other their perfect person to confide in.

their friendship slowly begins to translate into a loving relationship, at least for the first few months, that is. after the honeymoon phase is over and done with, they begin to drift away from the proper dating facade and constantly tear each other down, only coming back to when they need to rant about their day or need something - else. their relationship was almost like a distraction from the world. he got her out of her head, and she filled the space in his bed.

amara begins to open her eyes, and immediately begins to cut the toxic relationship off with joe (despite seeing each other everyday for the fourth season). he needs to realize that she's not an object to get used and discarded like a piece of cake. and she needs to discover her self-worth and not to depend on anyone but herself. but the real test is if either can manage without the other when they're addicted to each other.

─ okay hear me out. after amara breaks things off with joe, he calls and texts her everyday trying to get things back to where they were before. BUT that just adds to her point that they can't solely depend on one another and she ends up blocking him for a period of time??
─ i love joe & this plot is kinda shitty so idk? might make 20 more plots who knows
─ end it however you want to! i kinda thought there's a possibility of a sequel but probably not? it kind of depends if they get back together or not. there's tons of potential to add your own flare here!
