Welcome to Video Game Vs Battles where video game characters come in the ring and I analyze their combat skills and abilities to find out who would win a battle.

Today's matchup will be Yoshi, Mario's happy best friend VS Riptor the killing dinosaur from Killer Instinct. I will analyze both combatants based on their video game appearances. To be fair I will disallow Yoshi to use any power ups but everything else is fair game. I will not be using anything from a comic book, movie, or tv show, or any other non video game appearance. With all that out the way let's begin.

Yoshi VS Riptor

For those of you who don't know or don't remember Yoshi fought Tails from the Sonic the Hedgehog series in season three and won. A denizen of Yoshi's Island, he has helped Mario on several occasions, and both have learned over time to work with one another. He is among the race of Bowser's worst enemies, due to the fact that they are happy. He has participated in a number of sports, fighting, and Mario Party.

Riptor was a genetically engineered raptor created by Ultratech to compete in the Killer Instinct tournament. She was defeated by TJ Combo but was eventually resurrected with cybernetic enhancements.

Combat skills/weaponry

Yoshi has impressive combat skills, Yoshi can stick out his tough and can lay an egg of the object he has eaten and can throw it at his enemies. Sometimes certain meals can give him incredible abilities. Yoshi is also capable of doing some kicking skills on ground and mid air. Yoshi can use eggs as lightweight projectiles and can even create a giant egg shell to use as an all-encompassing sheild. Yoshi has the strangest digestive system I've ever come across. Certain meals can grant him special abilities.

Riptor's tools of death are his teeth, claws and impaling tail and he knows how to use them well, pulling off insanely bloody combos. And when he's not fighting up close, he can spit a fiery acid! Riptor's only 4 years old and yet, already, he's nearly unstoppable killing machine.

When it comes to their combat skills both dinosaurs are skilled in combat however Riptor is more deadly

When it comes to their weapons Yoshi has an arsenal of eggs.

Verdict

Alright so I'm not gonna analyzing their powers and abilities because it's pretty obvious who gets the edge. Anyways

Alright everything is set with a fight between these two dinosaurs comes down to Yoshi's arsenal VS Riptor's viciousness. This fight will take place on Yoshi's Island.

And there will be no prep time.

The fight

Yoshi is on a walk with Baby Mario on his back but as the walk Riptor emerges from the pipe and roars at the two and jumps in front them and is prepared to eat Yoshi and Baby Mario.

FIGHT!

Riptor begins by attacking Yoshi repeatedly and knocking him back and Baby Mario is knocked of the back. As Riptor advances, Yoshi throws three eggs at her, but these do very little. Riptor spots Baby Mario near the pipe, Riptor goes to him attempting to kill and eat him.

Desperate to save the baby, Yoshi eats a big rock laying a big egg and throws it at Riptor, causing him to turn around. Yoshi screams and runs off but is stopped by a Koopa Troopa. He eats the Koopa Troopa and spits him at Riptor, before Riptor can do some combos on Baby Mario, Yoshi jumps in front of him and protects himself and Baby Mario with his egg shield. Riptor attacks the shield until it breaks and then proceeds to attack Yoshi some more, only for Yoshi to counter.

Yoshi grabs Baby Mario as he jumps back on his back. Yoshi runs away with the baby as Riptor chases after them. Yoshi reaches to a dead end by a cliff. Yoshi and Baby Mario are shocked and looks and sees Riptor behind them. Yoshi jumps as it shows in slow motion that Riptor barely got Baby Mario in one bite. Yoshi jumps even higher and lands on a platform. Riptor appears behind them and attempts to shoot them with acid but Yoshi eats the acid and throws it at Riptor in the chest.

Riptor roars in pain and tries to attack Yoshi and Baby Mario again, but Yoshi moves out the way and kicks Riptor off the platform. Riptor shoots some more acid at his enemies but Yoshi eats it and throws it at Riptor's head. Riptor roars in pain and by the time he hits the ground, Riptor was already dead. Yoshi and Baby Mario jumps down and lands next to Riptor's corpse and cheers for victory.

K.O.!

Yoshi and Baby Mario continues their walk as Riptor's corpse continues to lay around on the ground.

And thus I declare Yoshi Mario's ride the victor.

Winner: Yoshi

Riptor maybe more deadly but Yoshi's arsanal won the day. That raptor mind of Riptor's might be cunning and clever but tooth and claw can only accomplish so much. Yoshi's bizarre digestive system rebounded the acid spit, thus leaving him vulnerable. And acid is deadly it can even kill you, even if Riptor was falling to the ground Riptor was alright dead the moment acid hit him. He just didn't have the stomach for this dino - mite Dino - Fight. The winner is Yoshi.
