Welcome to Video Game Vs Battles where video game characters come in the ring and I analyze their combat skills and abilities to find out who would win a battle.

Today's matchup will be Wario the fastest arch rival VS Knuckles Guardian of the all powerful Master Emerald. I will analyze both combatants based on their video game appearances. I will include information from the WarioWare series. I will disallow both combatants to go into forms like Wario Man or Hyper Knuckles Ir any other super form but everywhere else is fair game. I will not be using anything from a comic book, movie, tv show or any other non video game appearance. With all that out the way let's begin.

Wario VS Knuckles

Feeling that he was "bullied" by childhood Mario, and needing a place to call home, Wario attempted to steal Mario's home from him while using a spell to appear the rightful owner. Mario eventually drives Wario off and he and his partner Waluigi caused trouble for the Mario Brothers since. But Wario sometimes does the right thing, for the wrong reasons.

"Wario time"

For those who don't know Knuckles appeared in season two and fought Donkey Kong. I'll use the same information I had before. Centuries ago a race full of echidnas lived on an island with the all powerful Master Emerald. But one day the tribe of echidnas decided to take the Master Emerald. Unfortunately a creature named Chaos comes out of nowhere killing them in the process. However a young echidna girl survived and sealed Chaos into the Master Emerald. As a result the echidna home was floating in the sky calling in Angel Island. Centuries later one echidna is the last descendent of the echidna kind his name is Knuckles. The only echidna left Knuckles spends his entire life to guarding the Master Emerald everything on the Angel Island is at peace until today. One day Knuckles was guarding the Master Emerald and guess who was to first to arrive on the floating island? Yep you guessed it Dr. Eggman. Eggman arrives on the floating island after his Death Egg crashed landed on the island. Making a plan Eggman convinced Knuckles that a blue hedgehog named Sonic along with a fox with two tails named Tails have planned to steal the Master Emerald. Desperate to protect the gem Knuckles whet to stop them, however Eggman stole the gem for himself, without it's power Angel Island began falling out of the sky. Eventually Sonic and Tails managed to beat the sense into Knuckles and teamed up to stop Eggman, restore the Master Emerald and saved Angel Island. Sense than Knuckles became Sonic's ally.

Combat skills/weaponry

Wario can do crazy attacks like Shoulder Charge A powerful arm ram that can break block, Ground Pound A powerful butt slam, Wild Swing Ding A move where he grabs them by the legs, swings them around, and chucks them, Piledriver Wario performs a piledriver, Power Throw A charged up throw that sends enemies flying and Chomp Wario bites on his enemy before chucking them away and Allows him to inhale enemies and eat inanimate objects. Wario also has an arsenal to back him up. Wario Bike Wario summons a bike from hammerspace and can ram into his enemy, can do a wheelie, and can even eat and use it as a projectile. Wario Waft His internal gasses can build up to a degree where his farts can be weaponized; creating an explosion that can propel Wario upwards, At full power the 'Wario Waft' is Waro's most powerful attack, and Corkscrew Wario spins into the air. He also has Power Up Pots like Bull Pot: Gives Wario a strength boost and lets him cling to ceilings, Dragon Pot: Lets him shoot fire, and Jet Pot: Lets Wario move quicker and fly for short periods of time. All of this comes from Wario's games.

"Wario here! No offense, but you stink! My Touch Training stage is guaranteed to make you 138 percent less pathetic!"

All the times he spent with the Master Emerald gives Knuckles the marshal arts passed down to the echidna clan. Knuckles also has the digging claws let's him dig underground. He can also glide. Knuckles also has the diving necklace which allows him to breath underwater. Knuckles also can do a Double Punch, Spin Attack, Jump Dash and Spin Dash, Uppercut, and Thunder Arrow, With his connection with the Master Emerald Knuckles has tins of strength.

Combat skills/weaponry comparison

When it comes to their combat skills both are really skilled in combat however Knuckles has studied Martial Arts passed down from his echidna clain.

When it comes to their weapons both do have a arsenal to back them up but Wario has multiple options with his skills.

Powers and abilities

Wario is stronger than Mario who is stronger enough to left a castle and kick it like nothing. He even went toe to toe with him. In speed Wario outran a boulder and Created a dimensional teleporter in seconds. In durability he Survived the Shake King's death explosion, Mario Party, and the explosion of about 100 Bob Ombs. Wario has his downfalls despite being stronger than Mario he still loses fights to him more often than not, he's lazy, and greedy, and will do anything to get money. Plus he and Waluigi always lose to Mario and Luigi despite being trained by Bowser and cheating. Still Wario will always be the fat version of Mario.

Knuckles is really strong and has matched Sonic on many occasions. Knuckles punched the moon in Sonic X when Eggman rebuilt the moon into a robot moon with a remote control he can change the moon's to an endless eclipse but Knuckles went to space and punched the remote control and returning the moon into it's normal state, although it's non canon but in Sonic Boom he punched a volcano so hard that it erupted. Knuckles is fast moving at 100 miles per hour, Knuckles is strong enough to throw punches so extreme they make little explosions. However Knuckles is an idiot he always falls for Eggman's deceptions time and time again, and Jumps into fights without much in a way of strategy. Still Knuckles will continue to guard the Master Emerald.

Powers and abilities comparison

When it comes to their strength both are really strong however Knuckles punched a volcano he must have punched it at least 3.9 megatons of force.

When it comes to their speed Knuckles is obviously faster.

When it comes to their durability both are really durable however Wario is way more durable.

Although he was outclassed in durability Knuckles is much faster and way more stronger. Knuckles gets the edge in powers and abilities.

Verdict

All right everything is set with a fight between these tough guys will come down to Wario's weight VS Knuckles's speed this fight will take place on Angel Island.

And there will be no prep time.

The fight

A bike is seen riding up a hill. This is shown to belong to Wario, as he poses torwards the screen, basking in his glory. The camera zooms out to reveal that he is actually riding through Angel Island Zone, the former home of the Echindas. There sits the Master Emerald, and it's protector, Knuckles the Echidna, sleeping. 

By the emerald, a rustling occurs in the bushes. Wario pops out of the bushes, flexing his muscles and laughing once again. He stops and his jaw drops as he looks upon the Master Emerald, as an invisible choir sings "Hallelujiah" to the shiny green beauty.

Wario, moaning, starts to realize the picture in his head: Emerald = A fortune, as dollar signs appear in the yellow fat man's eyes. Wario sneaks in under the bush, torwards the emerald. Making a loud noise, Wario faces the emerald, but this has woken up Knuckles.

He is confused, but Wario rams his shoulder into the Echidna, ready to fight for the emerald. Knuckles slams into a tree, but gets up as he prepares to protect the Master Emerald from Mario's greedy rival.

Knuckles speeds through the woodlands and jumps into the air, with his fist ready to pound Wario.

FIGHT!

Knuckles punches Wario in the face and launches him into the woodlands. He grabs the money-hungry deconstructor and tackles him onto the ground, before tossing him into the air and pucnhing him into the ground. He walks over, thinking the job is done. He pulls him out, but Wario proceeds to fart in his face, Knuckles pulling himself away. Using the distraction, Wario rams Knuckles into his shoulder and runs with him like a bull.

Wario recovers and just as Knuckles is about to punch him, Wario uses Bull Pot and catches his fist. Wario lands some big blows on Knuckles knocking him back. As Knuckles looked up he noticed Wario attempted to ram him over with his bike however Knuckles quickly gets up and punches the pike sending it, flying of the island. Wario lands in front of him.

Knuckles walks up to him and grabs him, however Wario releases the air he's been holding in for a large fart, taking Knuckles out in the process.

The echidna is unable to see as Wario attacks him multiple times, with Knuckles unable to punch back. Knuckles then finds a way to avoid this by digging down into the ground. The gas clears as Wario trips onto the ground and looks around. Wario uses Dragon Pot the moment Knuckles comes out of the ground, Wario shoots fire at his enemy but Knuckles dodges it and grabs the fat plumber and goes down the waterfall.

While they are falling, Wario breaks free from Knuckles's grasp and bites him. Wario then uses Power Throw, Shoulder Charge, and Piledriver Wario, but before he can do a Ground Pond, Knuckles grabs Wario and throws him down the waterfall and on to the ground. Wario lands on his back and recovers however Knuckles lands on his feet as Wario gets up. Wario gets angry and uses Wario Waft. As the two combatants dodge and land sold blows Wario got the upper hand by throwing Knuckles at a tree. Wario laughs and prepares to finish off Sonic's friendly rival but Knuckles does a Spin Dash and knocks Wario near a cliff. Wario gets up and charges at Knuckles who his his long sharp digging gloves. Wario attempts to throw a punch but Knuckles punches him causing Wario to scream in pain as blood starts dripping from his stomach. Knuckles than impales Wario in the chest with the sharp digging tools. Wario is chocks and limps as Knuckles walks him up to the edge and throws his corpse of Angel Island and into the sea.

Knuckles: Not as strong as you thought you were.

Knuckles turns around and walks away.

KO!

Knuckles continues guarding the Master Emerald while sleeping meanwhile Wario's corpse continues bleeding while sinking in the ocean and gets eaten by a giant fish.

And thus I declare Knuckles the Echidna the guardian of the Master Emerald the victor.

Winner: Knuckles

Wario by have the advantage in arsenal and durability but he could'd stand up to Knuckles's strength, speed, and agility even with their Super forms like Wario Man or Hyper Knuckles the result would likely still be the same. Looks like Wario isn't getting paid this time. The winner is Knuckles the Echidna.
