The hero has always had a dark side and that dark side can be real from you. Which one of these doppelgängers created from the hero's heart will leave this fight alive?

All heroes have had a dark side before in one way or another, even if you're a Jedi or a hedgehog. But these two are literally created from the hero.

Roxas, Sora's Nobody of the Organization XIII

And Dark Pit, Pit's dark-winged twin.

I'm Phoenix Mason and it's my job to analyze their weapons armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Roxas

Nobodies. A Nobody is a somebody without a heart which basically means that they don't exist and are not real. After sacrificing himself to save Kairi, Sora ended up making a Nobody his name is Roxas.

Distended to find answers Roxas was recruited by Xemnas to be a member of the Organization XIII group of Nobodies who have one goal: Restart the Keyblade War to unlock Kingdom Hearts and claim its vast magical power. Roxas continued to endure and exist, oblivious to Sora's existence for most of his life. He has the ability to use the Keyblade, and wields light, using it to direct rays that strike opponents with great power.

Being Sora's Nobody, Roxas holds half of Sora's power with in him. Since Roxas's complete being's heart is made up of two Keyblade wielders' hearts, Roxas can dual-wield Keyblades, Oathkeeper and Oblivion. two weapons that represent Sora's memories of Kairi and Riku respectively.

Roxas has some insane attacks. Dual Arcanum lets Roxas swings his Keyblades wildly in left-and-right sweeping combos, and then dashes straight ahead with a powerful dual-outward strike after a delay, striking foes who attempt to dodge to the side with waves of light and darkness. Dual Slash assumes an offensive stance by twirling and drawing back his Keyblades and swings them simultaneously in a wide arc, unleashing a whirlwind of light and darkness in the immediate area. Dual Judgment lets Roxas throws his Keyblades like buzzsaws up to five times before unleashing a wave of dark power that can drag the target in towards his attacks. Event Horizon is Roxas' Limit Break, he charges his Keyblades with light and rushes at the opponent, dealing a massive combo that staggers the opponent and deals heavy damage while simultaneously attacking with his light arrays. Hurricane Blast spins vertically forward in midair and falls forward onto his opponent's location. Light Shields lets Roxas arranges his shields of light to form a laser array that he fires in all directions or spirals outward from his position to block attacks and knock back enemies. Magic Hour is Roxas' other Limit Break, in which he levitates in the air before raining devastating beams or homing orbs of light from the sky, dealing massive damage to those unfortunate enough to be caught in it. He can also defend himself with his light shields while using this attack, rendering it incredibly difficult to harm him while he uses it. Spot Beam allows Roxas to send out his thirteen light shields in waves to attack the opponent, repelling attacks and damaging foes simultaneously while he continues to attack with his Keyblades. When he gets fully serious, he launches these with every movement. (He can also combine Dual Arcanum with his Spot Beams for even more damage.)

Roxas can also do a verity of attacks. With Aerial Recovery he is able to quickly right himself and counterattack should he somehow be knocked into the air. Air Rush let's him Air Slide maneuver, which allows him to glide along the ground at high speed to those near him. Auto-Life revives Roxas in case if should fall (but there will be no resurrections in this fight until after the battle.) He can block attacks and block and counter attacks with Aero, Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, and Round. As well as sliding while blocking. Defender increases Roxas's defense can do a dodge roll. Lock on to targets with Homing Glide, knock people aside with Rocket Glide. Can jump really high. And with Once More he can survive any combo attack that would otherwise be fatal with just enough strength to continue fighting. However, any subsequent attack will be lethal if he does not heal himself in time. With Second Chance Roxas will able to hold on with just enough strength to continue fighting after receiving an otherwise fatal blow. However, any subsequent attack will be lethal if he does not heal himself in time. And finally with Scan Roxas is able to view his opponent's relative amount of remaining stamina.

Roxas also has a verity of magic. Aero which can shoot out a swift gust of wind with slight homing properties. Aerora shoots out a larger gust of wind that slowly follows the target along the ground. Aeroga pulls nearby foes in a whirlwind. Blizzard shoots a small ice crystal that pursues foes, passing through them multiple times to deal greater damage. Blizzara creates a larger ice crystal that floats in mid-air, detonating upon contact with an enemy or after a brief delay. Blizzaga creates a large ice mine that triggers a large explosion of ice and snow should an enemy approach it. Curaga he can heal his wounds. He can out a small fireball that slowly homes in on its target with Fire. Fira shoots out a fireball that moves in a straight line at high speed while smashing through defenses and barriers. Firaga launches a large fireball that homes in on its target in an arc before detonating on impact or upon contact with any surface. He can call a string of lightning bolts in a straight line with Thunder. Thundara brings down a lightning across a sizable area. And Thundaga calls down a single, much larger lightning bolt after a brief delay.

But possibly his greatest ability is at his full potential. It has been stated multiple times that Roxas is the second most powerful member in the Organization XIII next to Xemnas. As a Nobody Roxas can replicate Sora's strengh. He once even disarmed Sora during their fight. Sora at his best can break through 7 buildings at once how required 78 tons of TNT. He is also one of the fastest characters in the series being able to keep up with Sora, Sora once blocked 1000 lasers in less then in a second. Roxas has faced some toughest foes including Xion. Xion another replica of Sora had all of his powers at the time off there fight. Eventually at the end of Kingdom Hearts III Roxas finally found a connection he needed to return to his friends. But Roxas is powerful but not unstoppable.

He presses too hard in terms of his Limit Breaks and also despite have powerful magic like everything that's power doesn't last long. Still even with all that Roxas is still a tough Nobody of Sora.

Roxas: (Points the Oblivion at him.) And others, too. It seems you're not as good at winning over people's hearts as you think.

Xemnas: Ah, I see...

Roxas: There was one last thing I needed in order to be whole again. A connection. Sora helped me find my way back here... to my friends.

Dark Pit

Pit is a young angel who is the hero of Greek Mythology. With the guidance of Palutena, Pit battled evil and successful saves the day. But his doppelgänger who is ruthless and really tough is nine other than Dark Pit.

Dark Pit was created from Pit after breaking the Mirror of Truth and thus Dark Pit was born. However Dark Pit was incomplete instead of obeying orders, Dark Pit just slapped Pandora, stole her powers and just flew away.  But eventually he ended up helping Pit save the day in the end.

As a clone of Pit, Dark Pit naturally has all of Pit's abilities. He has superhuman strength, speed, and durability. He can freeze enemies reflect attacks and shoot out mega lasers and many more. He also has the Power of Flight it used to be unlimited but now last for 5 minutes which lets Dark Pit relay on Palutena (or in this case Viridi.) to fly. Dark Pit also has his own versions of Pit's weapons.

Dark Pit has the Silver Bow similar to the Palutena Bow but he can shoot out dark laser arrows, the First Blade has a strength value of 100, the basic value of a weapon and has no modifiers. The EZ Cannon is balanced in most respects, but its bouncing shots have a strong homing ability. Violet Palm is a weapon that possesses rainbow markings and a rainbow aura whirling around it, which transfers onto the user's arm once equipped. It produces slow shots with limited homing ability, which deal the second-most damage of any weapon, but the shots are slow you can easily dodge them. is a bulky, gauntlet-like weapon. While it mostly appears gray and black, it also possesses yellow, blue, and golden accents. The Guardian Orbitars reflects attacks (though they will break after 10 seconds or enough force.) and the Dark Pit Staff is so powerful anyone who's near him is sent flying plus it works like a sniper with this shots are powerful depending on the range he's in. the most powerful is the Lightning Chariot pulled by two unicorns Phos and Lux, have light blue coats with purple manes and tails. Equipped with silver and purple armor, they possess yellow, crystal-like horns, yellow hooves, and amber eyes. It's fast as lightning and spies not only strong enough to break barriers but demential portals

Dark Pit is strong enough to take out a gatekeeper in one kick and even Pit's Three Sacred Treasures didn't do a thing, he's quick enough to dodge an attack from Hades, even better he destroyed a monster that eat souls, he's even defeated Pandora twice and the Chaos Kin. Dark Pit is also capable of performing the same feats as Pit. I've analyzed Pit before and learned he can destroy a boulder in mid-air flew in space in 20 seconds and dodged a 90 million mile laser and survived a fall that was about 2000 feet and since Dark Pit is a copy of Pit he can do the same thing. Also he completely the Soul City mission all on his own sure Palutena and Viridi were talking but barely any tips. Dark Pit does have some downfalls.

Despite being smarter than Pit, Dark Pit still loses to him every time, also Dark Pit can't fly on his own anymore he now has to rely on Viridi for the Power of Flight which last for 5 minutes after that the burst into flames and Dark Pit will die he does have anger issues. Literally. Also he does relay on assistance form other allies much like with Pit. He is also arrant and cock. But his greatest weaknesses of all time is being called Pittoo it's basically Pit Two, and he hates being called that. Plus due to a connection if something happens to Pit the same can happen with Dark Pit. Like that time Pit turned into a ring which puts Dark Pit in a coma for 3 years, so it's basically this if Pit dies, Dark Pit dies too. Still don't underestimate Pit's winged doppelgänger and don't call him Pittoo. That's the last thing you would ever do.

Dark Pit: Hey.

Pandora: Let's get right to introduces this here is Dark Pit. He'll be your escort out of this life.

Dark Pit: (backhands Pandora.) Speak for yourself.

Verdict

Alright the combatants are set let's end this debate once and for all. It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!!

The fight

Dark Pit appears in an open valley when he explores his surroundings.

Dark Pit: Where am I?

Dark Pit begins to explore until he sees a portal ahead and turns around. A hooded figure comes out of the portal as it disappears. Dark Pit questions the newcomer.

Dark Pit: Who are you and what are you doing here?

The figure removes his hood and reveals himself to be Roxas.

Roxas: Who I am and what am I doing here is non of your concern.

Dark Pit: What? I asked you a simple question?

Roxas turns around and begins to walk away.

Dark Pit: Don't walk away from me while I'm talking to you!

Roxas stops but continues walking, Pittoo shoots two arrows to stop him in his tracks.

Dark Pit: Oh so that's what's going to be like, huh? Well this is not gonna end well for you!

Dark Pit spins his Silver Bow splits it into two and takes a fighting stance. Roxas summons his Oathkeeper and Oblivion.

Roxas: Oh...(points the Oathkeeper at Dark Pit) I don't think you've ever known someone like me!

Roxas takes a fighting stance and faces his enemy.

FIGHT!

Dark Pit shoots purple arrows at his enemy. But Roxas dodges all the arrows as he leaps forward and tries slashing Dark Pit, but the dark angel blocks the blow by separating his bow into blades and pushing the Nobody back. Dark Pit tries leaping forward to use his blades to attack, but Roxas manages to block it and combos Dark Pit back into the corner.

Pittoo charges another arrow but Roxas prepares to do an attack.

Roxas: Take this!

Roxas shoots out some fire but Dark Pit manages to dodge it. Pittoo does and upper cut on Roxas with the Electroshock Arm and knocks him to a large rock.

Dark Pit: Come on!

Roxas dodges an incoming attack and floats in the air.

Roxas: Nice try but I wonder can you handle this?

The former Organization XIII member uses Aeroga and creates a whirlwind about to pull Dark Pit in.

Dark Pit: Whoa!

Dark Pit gets sucked into the whirlwind where Roxas does some several combos and knocks him out of the whirlwind. Pit's reflection summons EZ Cannon and starts firing shoots at Sora's Nobody. Roxas leaps between two trees and counters the shots and fires some more magic.

Dark Pit veers to the left and right to dodge before launching an explosive projectile that shatters the path that Roxas is running on. Roxas leaps into the air as the road crumbles as Dark Pit locks his cannon onto him and fires its deadliest attack. However Roxas manages to uses his Light Shields much to Pittoo's surprise. Dark Pit discards the EZ Cannon and prepares his blades.

Roxas: You know for an angel you can't seem to keep up!

Dark Pit: Oh yeah let's see you keep up with this!

Dark Pit fires more arrows, Roxas is only narrowly able to avoid all of the attacks.

Roxas: Close shave!

Sora and Pit's doppelgängers leap at each other and clash blades and push each other back. Dark Pit tries firing some arrows, but Roxas leaps on a tree and combos Dark Pit with his Keyblade and uses a move called Dual Arcanum and meteor smashing him to the ground. Dark Pit is narrowly able to avoid Roxas stabbing him on the ground and uses the opening to uppercut Roxas launching him into the sky with his Electroshock Arm.

Roxas lands on top of a mountain and recovers.

Roxas: Ouch that hurt.

Roxas notices Dark Pit who was using the Power of Flight and uses his Dark Pit Staff and fires some shots at his enemy. However Roxas nearly dodges them.

Dark Pit: Bring out the Lightning Chariot!

A door opens and the Lightning Chariot comes out and Dark Pit rides them. Roxas attempts to flee by gliding away.

Dark Pit: Trying to escape me huh, coward? No chance!

Phos and Lux Fire lightning shots at Roxas. The chase continues until Roxas was backed into a corner. Roxas attempts to use his Light Shields but the chariot breaks through it. The Lightning Chariot head towards Roxas again but this time Pittoo does a backflip off the chariot as it crashes into the Nobody.

However Roxas manages to survive the attack thanks to Second Chance but was severely damaged from the attack. Roxas manages to heal himself with Curaga.

Roxas: Time to finish this.

Meanwhile Dark Pit lands on the ground thinking he won.

Dark Pit: Can't help but for feel sorry for you.

Before Dark Pit can walk away he was hit by a big beam which damaged him severely. That beam came from Roxas who was using Event Horizon while gliding into the air much to Dark Pit's surprise.

Dark Pit: What?! You survived that attack?! How?!

Dark Pit gets hit by more beams form Roxas's Event Horizon until it stops. Desperate to win an injured Pittoo starts shooting Roxas with his staff while screaming in anger. But Roxas dodges the attacks.

Dark Pit: I'm never going down that easily!

Dark Pit shoots out even more shots from his staff but Roxas once again dodges all of them and dive towards his enemy.

Roxas: You will to me!

Roxas slashes Dark Pit with the his Keyblades and disarmed Dark Pit of his staff knocking it aside. Dark Pit kicks the Nobody back and runs to get his weapon but do to his injuries collapses on the ground. Pittoo attempts to reach for the staff.

Dark Pit: I'm... not... going to lose.... today!

Dark Pit was about to reach for the staff only for it be cut in half by Roxas's Oblivion as it lands on Dark Pit's weapon.

Dark Pit: No way!

Dark Pit coughs out blood as Roxas stabs him in the chest from behind with the Oathkeeper.

Roxas: You know I've heard about this woman who was in the exact same position I was when she beat her enemy. And you wanna know what she said?

Roxas teleports his Oblivion to his hands and stabs Pittoo again causing even more blood to come out.

Roxas: She says "You're not worthy".

Roxas rips his Keyblades out and takes a step back as Dark Pit meets his his end.

Roxas: Sayonara.

Roxas opens another portal and leaves as the portal disappears leaving Dark Pit's corpse behind in a bloody puddle.

Results

Looks like somebody's watched the official Death Battle before.

This was indeed a close match, Roxas and Dark Pit matched each other perfectly. While Dark Pit had many weapons to keep Roxas busy, but Roxas's magical arsenal gave him plenty of options for pretty much any Pittoo could throw at him including superior healing techniques.

There both pretty even in terms of strength as both are naturally stronger than Sora and Pit who can cut through buildings and destroy boulders. And while Sora is stronger than Pit do to his feat, Dark Pit took out a gatekeeper in one kick so Roxas and Dark Pit are both pretty even in terms of strength.

Strength isn't every thing though while both doppelgängers have impressive reaction speeds as they've been shown to keep up with their respective original counterparts Roxas could scale to Sora who blocked hundreds of lasers in less then a second and dodged lightning. Of course the Lightning Chariot was impressive as it was made by a goddess so it can potentially keep up with Roxas, but he scales to Sora who's reacted to god being attacks before. Plus the Keyblade beams can be shot out in one second flat. That's 1.28 times the speed of light. MUCH faster than anything Dark Pit can react to.

And speaking of the Lightning Chariot it should increase Dark Pit's striking power as the chariot is strong enough to break Palutena's barriers and a dimensional portal but thanks to Roxas's Second Chance it can protect him from the fatal blow.

In terms of range tactics Roxas's serious combos are a bit to much for Dark Pit to handle and magic can do much more damage compared to Dark Pit's weapons. But then again Dark Pit does have some defenses of his own and can keep his distance and the Dark Pit Staff does way more damage form a distance. So overall Roxas had close-range tactics and Dark Pit had long-range tactics but neither completely outclassed the other.

Now for durability Roxas blows Dark Pit out of the water for this one. While Dark Pit scales to Pit who took a hit from Hades who's striking strength at best is 30 tons, Roxas scales to Sora who took a hit from Hercules who throw a rock monster into space which requires 24 megatons of TNT.

Though Roxas's magic is limited he can get it back by landing solid blows just like every other character form the Kingdom Hearts series, and there's still solid evidence that Roxas's magic and attacks were more powerful.

Overall while their both equally matched in strength and Dark Pit's  impressive weapons, intelligence, long-range tactics, and flight gave him an edge, he couldn't compete with Roxas's speed, durability, close-range tactics, and magical arsenal. I can't help but feel sorry for Pittoo who doesn't have the key for this fight.

The winner is Roxas

Trivia

The connection between Roxas and Dark Pit is that their both the doppelgängers created from their respective hero counterparts. (Roxas to Sora and Dark Pit to Pit.)

The both were originally supposed to fight each other back in Season 5 however I scrapped that and put them against different opponents due to better connections. (Dark Link against Roxas and Shadow against Dark Pit.)

The part when Roxas kills Dark Pit was actually talking about Wonder Woman and quoted her the same way she did when she killed Thor in Thor VS Wonder Woman Death Battle.
