Mega Man X VS Bomberman
Welcome to Video Game Vs Battles season three finale where video game characters come in and I analyze their combat skills and abilities to find out who would win a battle.
Today's matchup will be Mega Man X the greatest creation of Dr. Light and successor of the original Mega Man VS White Bomber the Bomberman I will analyze both combatants based on their video game appearances I will not be using anything from a comic book, or movie, or tv show, or any other non video game appearance. With all that out the way let's begin.
Mega Man X VS Bomberman
In the 20th Century of 200x Mega Man is the super fighting robot programmed by Dr. Thomas Light to save the world from the evil Dr. Albert W Wily who is on a quest for world domination and Mega Man was always there to stop him. Eventually Light and Wily's war had come to end and Mega Man and Light presumably won years later after the events of the Mega Man series (I have know idea what the dates are) Light began creating a robot unlike most robots of his time this robot was created with a unique system akin to that of a conscience, that allowed him to think, feel and act completely on his own, and highly advanced mechanics that far surpassed anything of the current day. His name is Mega Man X. X was created with a purpose for Light's dream to give robots the ability and freedom grow in the exact fashion of all living beings. However, Light knew that he would not live long enough to fully test X's potential, so he had X sealed in a capsule on September 18, 20xx (well there's a date right there.), not to be awakened for thirty years. He soon passed away however before he died he made a some capsules to guide X on his journey for peace. A hundred years later in the year 21xx, X was found by scientist Dr. Cain. Cain, not being an expert in robotics, was baffled by the design specifications Light had included on the computer as even a century later they were ahead of anything the world had ever seen. From these specifications and with the help of X, Cain began developing his own version of next-generation robots, which came to be known as Reploids. However, the Reploids never received the same ethical testing as X. Apparently because of this oversight, over time more and more Reploids began to act strange and, eventually, become violent against humans and even other Reploids. These Reploids were deemed "Maverick" (Irregular in Japan) and, as incidents of Reploids going Maverick increased, the human government decided to found a department which was supposed to deal with the Mavericks, the Maverick Hunters. Feeling responsible for this situation, X joined the Maverick Hunters and became part of Sigma's 17th Elite Unit. While other operatives such as Sigma and Zero were elevated to the higher classes, X remained at B-class. This was most likely due to a tendency in X to hesitate in battle instead of fully committing. This tendency caused other Maverick Hunters, such as Vile, to look down on X as weak. It has been noted, however, that X has "limitless potential" should he choose to access it and that Sigma, Zero, and Dr. Cain have all seen his potential from the beginning. While X was a member of Sigma's Elite Hunter Unit 17, he befriended many other members of this unit, particularly the S-A class hunter Zero. The Hunters were busy though, as giant Mechaniloids (robots less intelligent than Reploids) began attacking Abel City. The Maverick Hunters were baffled as to who was behind the attacks. During one of the battles against the berserk Mechaniloids it became apparent to Sigma that X would hesitate to use his weapons if an ally was in danger. After speaking to Dr. Cain, Sigma discovered that his worrying is what makes him so advanced. It was then that Sigma became obsessed with X. X and Zero began investigating these events to discover the hacker causing Mechaniloid outbreaks throughout Abel City. The two hunters traced the signal being sent to the Maverick Mechailoids to the missile facility, where they discovered that the hacker responsible for the rampaging Mavericks was none other than Sigma, who then proceeded to launch all the missiles stored at the facility to Abel City. X and Zero fought Sigma, but were damaged in the encounter, allowing Sigma to escape, although not before X, with some of his limitless potential awakened, burned Sigma's characteristic scars onto his eyes. Sigma eventually turned his lieutenants Maverick, and launched an attack against Abel City, leading into Mega Man X.
"That's right... It's begun again... How long must this war go on?"
If you guys remember or don't know Bomberman fought Taiza Hori aka Dig Dug in the first season episode two make sure you check it out if you have not. Anyways he's an alien robot from the planet Bomber who is an organization protecting the galaxy however Bomberman cares little for the environment he's supposed to protect making him an unprecedented opponent.
"I did it."
Combat skills/weaponry
Mega Man X is programmed to be unlike most of Light's robots including his predecessor Mega Man. X's main weapon is the X-Buster just like the Mega Buster, X can transform his arm into the X-Buster and can shoot out light orbs and he can charge it into one powerful attack. Much like Mega Man, X has some incredible abilities Shotgun Ice which fires a shard of ice that can freeze and/or damage a target. Upon collision, smaller shards will be fanned out in the opposite direction. Boomerang Cutter, when equipped, X can fire crescent-shaped boomerangs that fly in a short arc before returning to X (they will arc upward if X is standing and downward if he is in the air). The Boomerang Cutters can be used to grab far away items and will sometimes return weapon and life energy from defeated enemies. X recovers any Weapon Energy used from Boomerang Cutters that return without being destroyed. Storm Tornado X fires a long, horizontal tornado that remains on the screen for several moments before heading in the direction X is facing. The tornado is very effective against larger enemies, as it can hit multiple times with one shot. When fully charged, X is surrounded by a screen-high vertical whirlwind that can hit enemies from above and below before leaving the screen. Electric Spark, X fires a small electrical burst in the direction he is facing. It can be used as a semi-rapid-fire weapon, as three sparks can be on-screen at once. If the spark hits a wall or an enemy, it splits in half and travels up and down the surface it contacted. When charged, a pair of spark columns fire horizontally in front of and behind X. Homing Torpedo, X fires a small missile that seeks out the nearest enemy. If there or no enemies nearby, the weapon will simply fly in a straight line. Despite its "torpedo" moniker, it can be used both in and out of water, much like the amphibious Dive Missile from the original series. Fire Wave, X releases a constant stream of flames from his buster that continues as long as the FIRE button is held down. When charged, X will unleash a wave of flames that continue along the ground as long as it is on-screen and the terrain does not change. Because Fire Wave is fire-based, using either version of this weapon underwater will render it useless. In this game, Fire Wave is Chill Penguin's weakness. Sonic Slicer, X fires two blades of energy which reflect off of walls, ceilings, and obstacles. These blades can ricochet a great number of times before disappearing, but the angle of reflection increases on every hit, and it is different for each of them. Once the blades reach the sky or an enemy, they disappear. Up to two pairs of Sonic Slicers can be fired at a time. When charged, five energy blades are fired into the air, then fall back down. Rolling Shield, X fires a blue sphere of energy that rolls along the terrain and bounces off walls. When charged, a shield is created around X which can destroy minor enemies. The shield will remain active until it hits an enemy with over three hit points. In addition, X cannot fire the normal Rolling Shield while the Charged Version is active until the shield disappears. Nova Strike is the Giga Attack of the Fourth Armor and the Ultimate Armor in the Mega Man X series. X first surrounds his body with immense energy, then performs an invincible flying tackle that plows through (and destroys) enemies almost effortlessly. Aside from its offensive capability, the Nova Strike also permits quick mobility throughout most levels. X copies abilities just like the original Mega Man.
"I'll finish this. Right here. Right now."
Bomberman's main weapon is bombs that's just about it, these bombs can go off in 2-3 seconds the can not be diffused he can kick and throw his bombs and when he charges it up the bomb can make one big explode. Bomberman also carries an amount of power ups throughout his adventures he uses Accelerator which increases his speed, Bomb Kick and Power Glove which like I said before let's him kick his bombs, Bomb Up gives him extra bombs, Armor gives him temporary immunity, the Explosion Expander gives his bombs a power boost, and last but not least with Super Bomb he can use it for one huge devastating blast. And he means business. Bomberman can also hatch and ride wild Rooeys a kangaroo like creature who is fast, can jump so high, can step over bombs, how ever the Rooeys can die if catch in the bomb's explosion. With all these power ups Bomberman can be a predictable opponent.

Combat skills/weaponry comparison
When it comes to their combat experiences both robots are skilled in combat however Mega Man X has more combat skills then Bomberman.
When it comes to their weapons X's abilities are more powerful than Bomberman's bombs.
With skills programmed by Light gives X a big advantage. Mega Man X gets the edge in combat skills/weaponry.
Edge given: Mega Man X
"I have to work for the reconstruction of the world... I have no time to waste on you. If you show up, I'll defeat you."
Powers and abilities
Being a robot, X possesses strength, speed, endurance and other abilities well above the normal human capacity, although his physical limits are never revealed in the games. He can performs various specially defaulted actions like Dash, Wall Kick and Air Dash. He also has upgrades in which completed set are armors. The true scope of X's abilities are constantly under speculation by many of the characters in the series. X seems to constantly change and evolve. In many instances he seems to draw on some unknown power within himself. Both Dr. Cain who examined X as well as Sigma who is obsessed with X and Zero's capabilities don't understand a large portion of how both Hunter's internal systems work. What is known is that these hidden abilities make X immune to the Maverick Virus and let him match any opponent. It is also likely that the armor that Dr. Light left him may be tools that allow X to slightly tap into his "limitless potential". It can then be assumed that X's true power is capable of release only on his standard frame. However, this only happened during X's fight with Sigma in the last chapter of "The Day of Σ", and only for a moment due to the damage received from Sigma. In strength X is at least Class G+ (Much stronger than Proto Man, who lifted a large fortress with only one hand) in speed X is at least Class G+ (Far stronger than base) Class 10 (Can lift futuristic vehicles) in speed Massively FTL (Superior to the original Mega Man, outruns black hole-based attacks on a regular basis) with Massively FTL+ travel speed with teleporters Massively FTL+ (Is a Dark Elf wielder) High Hypersonic+ (Faster than Bass and Tengu Man, can outrun lightning attacks) and in durability X is at least Solar System level (Tanked hits from Lumine and can create black holes with himself at the focal point) Solar System level (His durability is greatly enhanced) Planet level+ (Survived blows from Vile and Sigma, concentrated a blast capable of atomically annihilating Japan with only a damaged buster).
"Let's do this!"
Bomberman's hobby of blowing things up can make him a predictable opponent. Bomberman is able to left bombs twice his size as he charges them. In terms of speed Bomberman is quite slow the only time he went fast is when he's riding a Rooey which is super fast can jump high and can step over bombs. Bomberman is careless and sometimes can accidentally trap himself near a wall with a place with a placed bomb. Despite his abilities Bomberman is young and naive and he can be predictable.

Comparison
When it comes to their strength both robots are tough however X has the strongest strength feats
When it comes to their speed X has a bigger advantage being as superior as his predecessor Mega Man who outran black hole like attacks.
When it comes to their durability X is capable of surviving Vile and Sigma.
With his abilities like the original Mega Man, X outclassed Bomberman in almost every way. Mega Man X get's the edge in powers and abilities.
Edge given: Mega Man X
"Take that!"
Verdict
Alright everything is set with a fight between these two robots will come down to Mega Man X's skills vs Bomberman's arsenal this fight will take place in a Normal Zone from Bomberman. And there will be no prep time. (This fight is gonna be short.)
The fight
Mega Man X appears on the scene and observes his surroundings then outta nowhere comes a bomb. X manages to dodge it before it exploded. Bomberman appears in front of him an prepares for another bomb to throw. X dodges it and fires some shots but Bomberman dodges them and uses power glove to kick the bomb at X however, X charges his X-Buster and fires at the bomb destroying it in the process. X begins to run as his opponent prepares for his next power up.
Falling platforms began falling towards X's location the Blue Bomber dodges them as looks and noticed staring at him with bomb up. X uses Boomerang Cutter at Bomberman finally dealing some damage on him. Once the platforms are gone X uses Shotgun Ice and fires some ice at Bomberman who is prepared to use three bombs. However the bombs were frozen solid. Bomberman get's angry and kicks the solid ice bombs away.
As the battle continue Bomberman grabbed a Super Bomb while X is using all of his abilities. By the time the Super Bomb was 4 times Bomberman's size he threw it at X. Desperate to survive X charges his X-buster and performs a Nova Strike and fires a big laser much to Bomberman's horror. The Nova Strike hits the Super Bomb and it caused a massive explosion.
When the dust clears it was revealed that X used Rolling Shield to defend himself and discovers Bomberman's corpse. With his opponent defeated, Mega Man X teleports away.
I declare Mega Man X the successor of the original Mega Man, the greatest creation of Dr. Thomas Light the victor.
Winner: Mega Man X
In the battle Bomberman may have some power ups at his side however X outclassed him in every category with all the abilities makes Mega Man X the winner of this battle.
