Welcome to the Video Game Vs Battles where video game characters come in the ring and be analyzed their combat skills and abilities to find out who would win a battle

Today's matchup will be Link the savior of Hyrule VS Sora the savior of Kingdom Hearts. I will be analyzing both combatants based on their game appearances for Link it's The Legend of Zelda series and for Sora it's the Kingdom Hearts series. I will not be using anything from a comic book or movie or any other non video game appearance. With all that out the way let's begin.

Link VS Sora

As a young child Link starts his journey as a child or young adolescent Hylian kingdom. he is usually portrayed as having been orphaned at an early age. Link's mother was killed in an attempt to escape to the Kokiri Forest with Link as a baby in her hands running away from the fierce war in Hyrule. Eventually she had Link be taken care of by the Great Deku Tree but she died in the process in an unknown way. Years later Link lives with his uncle and grandmother but eventually he left home to fulfill his destiny as the savior of Hyrule or another land. Later on it's been stated that Link is the last descendant of the Knights of Hyrule, and as such is destined to rescue Princess Zelda. In many ways Link earns the Triforce mark on the back of his left hand, either to signify possession of the Triforce of Courage or, in some cases, to simply signify his exemplary courage. Because Link bears the Spirit of the Hero, all of Link's incarnations each possess an unbreakable spirit. One feature in Link's personality that is greatly emphasized is his courage. He is often depicted as a humble yet brave and courageous boy who steps up to the task of saving the kingdom of Hyrule (and many others), a task to which he seems destined. As such, he is often associated with the Triforce of Courage and the goddess Faror. Early on he is chosen to weld the Master Sword.

Once upon a time their is a young child named Sora who lived on Destiny Islands. Sora and his friends Riku and Kairi lived together and owned their athletic skills along side characters from Final Fantasy series. At this time Sora and Kairi hang out as they talk about going to another world. Later Riku teases Sora do to his romantic feelings for Kairi, the trio planned and started building a boat to go to another world. However there was one fateful night that will change their lives forever a group of dark creatures known as the Heartless attack Destiny Islands and then light showed up in a form of a Keyblade with this Sora battled the Heartless including a giant monster and ended up in a world called Traverse Town and ended up running into Goofy and Donald Duck and together they traveled all worlds and save them from darkness.

"I know the Keyblade didn't choose me, and I don't care. I'm proud to be a small part of something bigger - the people it did choose. My friends. They are my power!"

Combat skills/weaponry

Link is an excellent swordsman being able to take on anything way out of his league. Link wields the Master Sword also called the Goddess Sword it was made by the Goddess Hylia with this sword Link can slay demons and use it deflect light energy magic, it is completely indestructible, it also has Medallions, which can launch fire, freeze his enemies, and cause an earthquake. His best defense is the Hylian Shield. But that's not all Link has in his arsenal. His boomerang attacks his foes five times before returning to Link's hand, he is also a skilled archer the Hero Bow fires trick arrows just enough to make Hawkeye proud he can fire them with fire, ice, sliver and light, his bombs take five seconds to explode and sometimes they can be water bombs those bombs take at least 7 seconds to go off in the Super Smash Bros series, so annoying thank God that in Ultimate the bombs are remotely detonated but moving on, Link also has some boots to help him out he's go iron which I'm assuming that it lets him go slow, doses it? Let me know if what the iron boots can do because I have no idea, anyways hover let's him hover in the air and the pegasus makes him go fast, he also has a Hookshot/Clawshot which let's him grab things. Link has fought the forces of evil for ten generations and will continue to keep fighting.

Sora wields the Keyblade also known as Kingdom Key it can be a wand a s key and a sword. Sora throughout his adventures like Firaga (Fire magic), Thundaga (Electric magic), Blizzaga (Ice magic), Cure (Healing magic), Graviga (Gravity magic), Stopga (Time stopping), Glide like Peter Pan, Ragnarok, and can enter Drive forms but he can't enter it without help from Goofy and Donald. Sora also has Reflect which is one of his deadliest move ever he can use it to block attacks. With all this magic Sora battled the Heartless and save all worlds

Combat skills/weaponry comparison

When it comes to combat both combatants are skilled swordsmen however Link has more combat experiences than Sora do to his ten generations of experience

In terms of their weapons both chosen ones are really superior however despite the Keyblade made with magic the Master Sword is made by a Goddess so that definitely deserve this one

Link's method of fighting gave him a much needed advantage with his arsenal and strategy. Link gets the edge in combat skills/weaponry

Powers and abilities

Link possesses incredible superhuman strength in The Legend of Zelda: Acarina of Time Link use his Golden Gauntlets to left a thousand tons of gauntlet as it weighs 166 pounds per square inch this means he can withstand over 1000 tons of pressure. In Super Smash Bros Brawl Link was able to dodge an attack from Mario who was running at him at full speed. In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Link was able to take down Ganon, he is also strong enough to take down and throw armored Gorons, with Z-Targeting=Very Fast Reactions that goes to show how fast like can react, Link has Single-Handedly beaten Armies, a puzzle solver, and has been able to take down Ganondorf and Demise in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Link is also Less Predictable Fighting Style, is an Expert at Finding Weaknesses, a smarter fighter and Can fight up close or at a distance. Link is an intense fighter and always has a strategy planned.

In order to learn save all worlds from the darkness Sora had to learn he needed to be strong fast and tough. Sora was able to cut through 7 buildings with ease in Kingdom Hearts II and launch them like projectiles. Sora has defeated 1000 Heartless and once even took on an army of them but unlike Link who did it by himself, Sora had help from Donald and Goofy, he held back two of Cerberus' heads, and went toe to toe with Hercules who is strong enough to throw a giant rock monster into space which had been around 1,600 tons, he even defeated Cloud Strife main protagonist from the Final Fantasy series. Sora is fast enough to run up a building and used Reflect to block all lasers from every single angle. Hw battled the Heartless and fought his arch nemesis Xehanort and his Nobody for those who don't know a Nobody is a somebody without a heart, but a Heartless isn't a somebody or a nobody though they may have been a somebody filled with anger. Sora is fast enough to dodge magical lightning and real lightning from the sky, last but not least he can take a hit from anything and anyone and Sora's ability to take a hit might be one of his strongest characteristics. He survived the getting shot by Clayton from Tarzan, Chinese dragons being bitten from Cerberus and the fires of Hades. However despite how strong he is he often relays on outside help all the time. But with all these abilities Sora will continue to fight for all worlds

Powers and abilities comparison

When it comes to their strength both magical swordsmen are really strong however Sora defeated someone who is way stronger than himself

In terms of speed Link and Sora are quick enough to dodge natural attacks however unlike Link who dodged an attack from Mario, Sora was quick enough to dodge lightning that moves at about  at around 220,000,000 miles per hour much faster than Mario. Sora can also block lasers from every single angle

When it comes to durability both have proven to be strong enough to take a hit however unlike Sora, Link hasn't taken a hit from a godly like character, Sora has shown to take a lot of punishment and still keep fighting

When it comes to their abilities both were mostly even however Link won't be able to resist time manipulation powers and for Sora he can heal from his wounds even if he's hurt.

Sora's magical abilities, strength, speed and durability and the able to take a hit gives him the leg up he needed to succeed. Sora gets the edge in powers and abilities

Verdict

And know the combatants are ready with a fight between these two godly/magical chosen one sword wielders will all come down to Link's arsenal combat experience and strategy VS Sora's magical powers and durability. This fight will take place in the Hyrule Kingdom

And their will be no prep time

The fight

Link is walking through the fog across the bridge on to the other side as he walks Sora starts walking with the Keyblade in his hand the two combatants walk passed each other and stopped. Link pulls out his Master Sword and Sora holds the Keyblade up to his face. The two turned around quickly and clashed swords Link jumps backwards in the air and shoots lasers from his sword but Sora blocks his attack. The two started clashing swords Sora manages to to get some hits on him but Link counters by using his up B move from the Super Smash Bros games causing Sora to be sent flying backwards.

Sora lands near the edge of the waterfall as Link charges at him, Sora shoots some fire magic at his opponent, Link manages to dodge the attacks and fights fire with fire with his fire arrow and counters the attacks. Sora gets in close so and attacks Link who is hiding behind his shield, Link uses his Clawshot and grabs Sora by the leg and throws him in the air and down the waterfall. Link is walking on the bridge but Sora summons thunder and the breaks the bridge of where he's standing causing him to fall in the process. While falling Link and Sora starts sword fighting and clashing with each other in the air while falling to the ground, when continuing the fight while fall Sora shoots ice magic from the Keyblade at Link who manages to block them with the Master Sword. While at the climax of almost on ground level, Link a down stab with his Master Sword and attempts to stab Sora in mid air, however Sora blocks his attack with his Keyblade. But blocking his attack only sends Sora falling faster to the ground. Sora hits the ground and lays flat on the ground on his back. Link does another down slash but Sora uses time stopper and froze Link at the verse last second before getting stabbed in the chest. Sora then slowly by passes a frozen Link while still in his down slash stands, Sora gets up puts his Keyblade in the low water in the dirt and does a spin kick in freezing Link and sending flying in the process.

Link got hit a tree and gets back up and recovers, he sees Sora charging at him, Link throws his boomerang but Sora dodges it. The clash weapons again Sora manages to knock the Master Sword from Link's hands disarming him in the process. Sora strikes Link as he is hiding behind his shield then knocks him back several times. As Link is being cornered Sora prepares for another strike but gets hit in the head by Link's boomerang, Link grabs his Master and strikes at Sora. Link then does a boomerang tornado at Sora who is knocked into a corner, the tornado strikes at Sora. Just than Sora appears right behind Link as it is revealed that he just used teleportation to escape Link's trap. Sora flies in the air like Peter Pan. Link starts shooting more arrows but Sora dodges them all and continues gliding around and shoots Ragnarok but Link uses his pegasus boots and dodges it than runs up a mountain and jumps at Sora's hight and knocks him out of the sky and on the ground in the process. Sora lands on his feet as he looks up and sees Link on a hill and throws another boomerang tornado but Sora slices through it like it was nothing turning it into dust. Sora then jumps and runs at Link. Link and Sora clash their weapons again then Sora uses defense. As Link comes from behind Sora uses gravity stop and holts him. The Keyblade wielder sends the Hero of Time down the hill.

Link lands on his feet as Sora is seen running down hill charging a beam from his Keyblade. Sora fires the beam but Link blocks with his Master Sword and swings it back at him. Sora dodges then gets in close. Link and Sora swing their swords again and again and again. Link trips Sora causing him to lay flat on the ground. Link jumps high and does another down slash and came down fast and successfully does his move on his opponent, but Sora stabs Link in the chest with his Keyblade at the last second and barely dodges the slash he shoots another beam from the Keyblade, killing Link in the process as his lifeless body lands next to Sora.

I declare Sora the chosen Keyblade wielder the victor.

In the battle Link did have the advantage in experience, arsenal, and strategy but Sora's magical arsenal provided multiple counters for anything that Link can throw at him. Sora outclassed Link in every other category, with his powers like teleportation which means gives Sora the edge he needed. Even if Link could get in close he couldn't keep up with Sora's speed and the Keyblade shoot it took only one second flat. Sora's strength, speed, and durability out classed Link giving him a win in this battle.
