Welcome to Video Game Vs Battles where video game characters come in the ring and I analyze their combat skills and abilities to find out who would win a battle.

Today's matchup will be Hades the God of War VS Dracula the vampire. I will analyze both combatants based on their video game appearances I will not be using anything from a comic book, movie, tv show or any other non video game appearance. With all that out the way let's begin. (Also special thanks to JohnathenYoungs for the idea.)

Hades VS Dracula

During the events of Uprising, Hades revives Medusa and her forces to serve as distractions to keep Palutena and Pit on their toes. After Medusa's defeat, Hades reveals himself by ripping off the credits and saying that he is the one who revived Medusa as well as telling Palutena that the real fun is about begin. Hades first begins his campaign by manipulating Pit into killing off the Phoenix while making him think he is after the Wish Seed. However, revealing that he knew the Wish Seed was a fake, Hades reveals the Wish Seed's existence to the people so that they can kill themselves over a wish-granting item that does not even exist. The subsequent attacks of Viridi, the Aurum, and the Chaos Kin ultimately force Pit and Palutena to ignore Hades in favor of stopping the more immediate threats while he makes a constant presence both through his army as well as with snide jokes and nonchalant insults.

During the Aurum invasion in Chapter 15, he sends Mimicuties to toy with Pit. However, he does aid Pit during the attack on the Aurum Hive by having his minions commandeer one of their battleships and ram it into the Hive. Hades's reasons for fighting against the Aurum were purely due to his selfishness, as he considered the Earth to be his to plunder and his alone. In Chapter 17, his army attacks the Aurum Brain alongside Viridi's forces, Pyrrhon, Pit, and Palutena's Army.

After Pit is turned into a ring, Hades's forces continue harassing humankind, though Palutena, her army, and Pit's Body become the enemies of humankind as well, under the control of the Chaos Kin. Hades takes advantage of the situation and collects the souls of humans killed during the three years Pit spent as a ring. Upon Pit's return, his forces continued to harass Pit (who is aided by Viridi), humanity, and Palutena's forces (which are under the control of the Chaos Kin). He tries to steal the Lightning Chariot both for himself and to stop Pit and Viridi from obtaining it. During Chapter 20, his forces assault Pit on his way to Palutena's Temple in the Lightning Chariot. After Pit destroys the barrier surrounding the temple, Hades takes the opportunity to attack it and Pit, all the while mockingly suggesting that Pit should kill Palutena instead of the Chaos Kin, but Pit ignores him.

In Chapter 22, both Hades and his forces assault Dark Pit on his way to the Rewind Spring and mentions how he would love to get his hands on Dark Pit's soul. Eventually, everyone learns Hades's goal of using the souls of everyone who died in the series of wars to create his army and increase his own power, an act that is interfering with the natural order and is threatening to all. Dark Pit manages to elude him and makes it to the Spring but is attacked by the revived Pandora. When Hades arrives at the Spring, he is greeted by Amazon Pandora, and is shocked to find out it is Pandora herself. Realizing the Spring's power, he plans to destroy it to prevent it from being used on Pit, but fails as Pandora is defeated once again.

Though Pit initially takes up the Three Sacred Treasures to mount an attack on Hades, the god proves too powerful as he destroys the weapons with a single attack and swallows up Pit. Hades proceeds to fight off Viridi's army before sensing that Pit is damaging his heart. Just then, Dark Pit uses the Lightning Chariot to pierce through Hades's chest, rescuing Pit. Hades quickly tries to grab them, but they vanish due to Palutena's intervention.

Later, Hades confronts Pit again when the latter is given the Great Sacred Treasure. Though it seems that Pit has the upper hand in the extended battle, Hades ends up turning the tables and destroying the suit. However, a recently revived Medusa comes to Pit's aid at the last second, making Hades retaliate and kill Medusa with a single punch. The delay gives Palutena an idea to charge up the remaining cannon of the Great Sacred Treasure, which Pit fires on Hades, ultimately defeating him.

"Sorry to keep YOU waiting. But now that I'm here, let's get this party started. Welcome to MY Underworld, Pitty Pat. You too, pretty Palutena."

The man later known as Dracula was originally born Mathias Cronqvist. Sometime during the mid to late 11th century, he served in a company of knights alongside then Baron Leon Belmont. With Mathias's brilliant military strategies, and Leon's skill with a sword, their company was unstoppable. Little is known of Mathias's early life or his family, save that they seem to have been longtime practitioners of Alchemy and had advanced further into the study than most alchemists could have ever dreamed. Mathias was very well educated, and quite skilled in the art, though he never told Leon or any of his other compatriots of his knowledge, with the notable exception of Rinaldo Gandolfi, whom he had met at an unspecified time. Mathias married a woman named Elisabetha who he was deeply in love with. While away on a campaign against heathens in the east, Elisabetha died due to illness. Upon returning and learning of her death, Mathias was overtaken with despair so profound that he became bedridden, presumably worrying Leon considerably, as Mathias was the strategist and tactician of the company.

During that time, Mathias grew angry at God for allowing Elisabetha to die such an early death while he was away risking his life and fighting in God's name. He thought it was unjust and unfair for God to take away what mattered most to him, when he had given God so much, and when Elisabetha was such a pure and blameless woman who has not deserved to die. Mathias began searching for ways to become immortal and show God that he didn't have a final say in everything, and that he could defy God's decrees by existing outside them, and scorning God in his eternal life. He learned about the Crimson Stone, considered to be a treasure among vampires. Through some means, the stone came into Mathias's possession, and he planned to use it to ascend to immortality.

Through his acquiring the arcane relic, an evil deity known as Death bound himself in servitude to Mathias, as Death would only follow he who controlled the Crimson Stone. With the stone, Mathias could not only control the powerful spirit creature, but also absorb the souls of slain vampires and add their powers to his own. As an effect of this, humanity would be lost, and he would become a vampire himself. The young Knight then had all the resources he needed to plan his scheme to become an immortal. Mathias eventually came in contact with a powerful Vampire Lord named Walter Bernhard, who had somehow obtained the Ebony Stone, another vampiric treasure that locked his forested realm and castle in eternal night, thereby making him the most powerful vampire. The only thing of value that Walter desired was the Crimson Stone, which was believed to be lost for ages, but was secretly held by Mathias.

The vampire was bored due to his own immortality, and in order to distract himself from that, he enjoyed playing life and death games with brave humans. To raise the stakes of the game - to make the human more interested - he would steal that which is most precious from his target. Mathias suggested targeting Sara Trantoul to Walter, the fiancée of Leon Belmont. The knight would make an interesting player in Walter's game, because according to Mathias's stories, his combat prowess was second to none. Walter, who didn't realize he was being tricked, ordered his forces to invade Leon's domain in order to capture Sara.

All went according to Mathias's ingenious plan; Leon went to Walter's castle to save Sara, and due to a series of planned events, was able to defeat Walter. When Walter was dying, Death appeared and took his soul and granted the vampire's power to Mathias, who had materialized in the castle. It was only in his final moments that Walter realized what was happening, and what Mathias's true intentions were. Due to absorbing Walter's soul, Mathias became the most powerful vampire, though the Ebony Stone eluded him, as it was destroyed in Leon and Walter's battle.

Mathias then declared that he had never spent a better night, and gave Leon his gratitude. A confused Leon demanded an explanation, to which Mathias replied that he needed a powerful vampire's soul, and he knew that Leon had it in him to destroy Walter so that he could take the soul. Leon sensed a rage from the Vampire Killer, which he used to kill Walter, and asked in disbelief if his best friend had abandoned humanity. Mathias confirmed this and revealed his motive. He admitted that everyone involved in the ordeal were just pawns in his plan to become the most powerful vampire and curse God forevermore because of God's cruelty. Mathias then offered Leon eternal life as he too suffered over the death of his beloved. Leon refused, because eternity without the one he loved would be empty, and Mathias's twisted plan had cost Sara her life. Mathias believed that Leon out of all people would be the one to understand him, but when that wasn't the case, he became a bat and flew away, and the two would never meet again.

Mathias went in hiding in foreign lands and he continued to curse God. Eventually, he named himself Lord of the Vampires and King of the Night.

At some point during Mathias's unholy life, he built a magic castle in the province of Valachia where he would recruit humans and other beings who had turned their back on God, or were shunned by the light. Mathias granted some of them the forbidden knowledge of Devil Forgery and allowed them to practice their rites in his castle.

One day, he met a kind woman named Lisa, with whom he would eventually become romantically involved. She reminded Mathias very much of Elisabetha, which was mostly the reason why he had fallen in love with her. Lisa loved Mathias very dearly despite his views on life and they would eventually have a son together named Adrian Fahrenheit Ţepeş, who would be later known as Alucard.

Eventually, rumors started to spread that Lisa's medicinal practices were a form of witchcraft. This caused her to be arrested and sentenced to death by the authorities. Lisa was captured and crucified, an event Adrian witnessed but was prevented from intervening in. As the execution would have traditionally occurred during the daylight hours, Mathias would not even become aware of it until hours later, and when he learned of this, it drove him over the edge. Eventually, he changed his name to Dracula Vlad Ţepeş and plotted his revenge against mankind for ruthlessly taking away what mattered most to him.

"By becoming a vampire, I obtained eternal life. That was my goal. It was my revenge against God!"

Now normally I would do something like combat skills/weaponry but these guys are basically immortals and I don't know what else they have I mean they've been around for a long time and I do think they are pretty even. If you guys didn't read my new rules I said if I think their pretty even than I can skip combat skills/weaponry if I wanted to. Okay I hope you all understand why anyways let's move on to powers and abilities.

Powers and abilities

Hades is so superior to Pit at one point he destroyed the original Three Sacred Treasures, in his clash against Pit and the Great Sacred Treasure and later smashed the Great Sacred Treasure, he even killed Medusa in one punch. In strength, Hades one time flattened several mountains in a single swipe, superior to Pit, who destroyed the Aurum Hive. In speed he out speed-blitzed Pit and his travel speed could only be matched by the Great Sacred Treasure's Pursuit Mode. In durability which is impressive by the way Hades can actually at one point after Great Sacred Treasure cuts Hades in half he just grew his legs back that is insane, Hades tanked streams of attacks from the Great Sacred Treasure and held his own against Pit and three Goddesses at once that is insane. Hades is funny but a nonchalant prankster who rarely gets serious and is rather confident in his abilities. This is probably the ultimate reason for his defeat. But still Hades is the toughest God of the Underworld and will always led his way to victory. (and also a fight to the death.)

"I'm not even sure I could be resurrected in this state. There's the real tragedy. This dashing physique, this literally godly body is gone forever? Ladies everywhere are no doubt weeping as we speak! Your fault!"

Dracula has many multiversal abilities. I will discuss his dark magic skills keep in mind I won't bring up all of them. As the Dark Lord, and King of all Vampires, Dracula possesses unrivaled mastery over Dark and Chaotic Magic. As he who controls Chaos, Dracula's power is unmatched only a few foolish demons ever dare challenging his Throne. Hellfire A classic attack Dracula is fond of. With a wave of his cape, the Count releases a trio of hellish fireballs to scorch his opponent. Dark Inferno A more powerful variation of the Hellfire attack. Waving his cape, Dracula fires a pair of dark, meteoric orbs of darkness that bring great destruction. Dark Metamorphosis With this spell, Dracula greatly enhances his vampire Blood-Draining abilities. Dark Void With this spell, Dracula can teleport as a black mist of bats. Demonic Cleansing Dracula summons a gigantic pillar of scorching hellfire to destroy his opponent. Dark Blaze Dracula summons pillars of dark magic to destroy his opponent. Soul Steal An incredibly powerful spell that allows Dracula to rip and absorb the souls of nearby enemies, devouring their essence and vitality and converting it into power. Blood Storm In a mockery of the Belmont's Hydro Storm, Dracula can provoke a rain of acid blood. Meteor Shower Dracula can cause a barrage of flaming meteors to descend from the skies and destroy his opponents. Demonic Meggido The Demonic Meggido is Dracula's ultimate magical attack. Spreading his arms and charging his power, demonic runes manifest before Dracula as his magic concentrates into the form of a gigantic sphere of destruction, which is fired at the opponent provoking a huge explosion. Dracula can also fire this attack as a gigantic spherical wave of destruction with him as its center. Dracula can also shape shift into a wolf, a mist, and a bat. His strength is clearly multiversal he is far more powerful than Galamoth, who himself is much more powerful than the Time Reaper, who was destroying the very fabric of time around at least two timelines. His power is what maintains the existence of The Abyss, which is composed of 6 separate Hells which can be entire universes of their own. Far above Menace, who destroyed the entire Abyss upon dying. Dracula is also far more powerful than numerous demons under his command, such as Paranoia, who is capable of firing Lightspeed Attacks, as all demons under his command are manifestations of his power. Dracula is weak against Holy Weaponry, though only specific Weapons like the Vampire Killer and Alucard's Sword can kill him. Anything that's holy (or godly) can kill him. But overall Dracula is the most powerful vampire ever.

"By becoming a vampire, I obtained eternal life. That was my goal. It was my revenge against God! We have risked our lives and fought for the sake of God... But God mercilessly stole away the one I loved most... When all I ever wished for was Elisabetha's safety. If limited life is God's decree, then I shall defy it! And within that eternity, I shall curse Him forevermore!"

Powers and abilities comparison

When it comes to their strength both are heavily strong however despite him at a multiversal level I don't think Dracula's multiversal strength can stand up to a Greek God like Hades. Dracula is stronger though.

When it comes to their speed both have intense speed however Dracula has been shown to be far faster from what I found.

When it comes to their durability both have impressive skills in this category however a healing factor like Hades might not come in handy when you're fighting someone immortal like Dracula.

Based on the skills and power it looks like Hades and Dracula could actually have some powers that can end the other quickly and easy. Nobody gets the edge in powers and abilities.

Verdict

I do think the fight can be very interesting between a Greek God and a Vampire is quite impressive. This will all come down to power vs power. This fight will take place in a big hunted castle but the fight will be sort. And there will be no prep time.

The fight

Hades and Dracula face each other in a hunted castle.

FIGHT!

The dark lords charge at each other using their abilities at one and another. Dracula uses Dark Inferno to set fore on Hades but Hades was like "Whatever" and attacked Dracula.

Dracula attacks Hades as well and shoots out fire balls to get at Hades. The God of the Underworld dodges the fireball attack and throws a punch at the King of all Vampires. Dracula warps into some bats and flies into Hades dealing some damage on him numerous times and then knocks him back.

Hades than does several combos at Dracula and knocks the vampire king the air and down back to the ground, but Dracula uses more Dark magic at Hades again. Dracula attempts to suck up Hades is blood only to get smacked in the face by Hades's hand.

Hades and Dracula once again use their powers to try to outdo the other, Hades would use his brute force and tank anything Dracula can throw at him, however Dracula has better plans. He attempts to use Soul Steal but to take Hades's soul but it's impossible as Hades is covered with everyone else's souls

Dracula tries again but this time using Lightspeed Attacks in an attempt to out speed blitz Hades. Once he saw an opening Dracula summonses meteors at Hades. The meteors actually hit him but he can tank them.

Soon enough one of the meteors cuts off Hades's legs off in the process. Hades grew new legs and gets angry and gets into his final form for an attack. Dracula strikes back.

The attacks clash Dracula even used all of his Dark Magic when he could however Hades grabs him by the neck and throws him around all over the place. With their dark powers combined into one clash Hades and Dracula are even however I don't think think that Dracula's dark magic can stand up to a god. Hades would eventually get the advantage at this point causing blunt force drama and insane amounts of damage. Than Hades walks up to an injured Dracula, grabs him by the throat let's him go and does a giant clap to Dracula's head squishing it in the process.

KO!

And thus I declare Hades the Lord of the Underworld, the funniest villain we know, the victor

Winner: Hades

Dracula may have had the advantage in dark magic but he couldn't stand up to Hades's strength, speed, and durability. Yes they were both pretty even in that category but I don't think a vampire like Dracula could stand up to a Greek god like Hades, he was way too tough for them. Dracula got T.K.Oed (that was really terrible right there.) The winner is Hades.
