Hey guys it's Phoenix Mason and today I'm going to be doing a preview. If you've haven't seen many Death Battle previews basically how it works is that I show off a few information on the characters before the actual battle itself. I guess that's how it works but anyways I hope you enjoy this preview for Gengar but anyways here it is.

The world of Pokémon. A place where Humans and Pokémon live together in harmony. Pokémon can be kinda dangerous at times but none are as dangerous and scary as the Ghost Pokémon known as Gengar.

The original Ghost type Pokemon that gave kids nightmares. Gengar have excellent maneuverability being able to hide in people's shadows, pass through solid objects, and float in the air. Gengar is great at haunting opponents preventing them from escaping with Mean Look, putting them to sleep with Hypnosis and then using Dream Eater to regain health or Nightmare to make opponents take damage over time. Gengar normally lives in dark places such as hunted houses, caves, and pretty much anywhere that's a dark place.

According to his states Gengar's attacks are at 65, defense and hp at 60, special attack at 130, special defense at 75, and speed at 110. But Gengar has some impressive move sets.

His main attack is Shadow Ball a black ball that it shoots at the opponent with a 20% chance that the attack would the opponent's lower special defense. Sludge Bomb releases multiple greenish-brown globs of sludge from its mouth at the opponent with a 30% chance of poisoning its opponent. Shadow Punch creates an giant energy fist construct or two in some variations. Astonish is an intimidation attack where Gengar appears out of nowhere, raises its arms and making a scary face while shadows appear on its body and around its face. It has a 30% chance of causing the target to flinch if Gengar makes the first move. Curse sacrifices half of its HP, a Gengar can cause its opponent to lose a fourth of their max HP once a turn.

Gengar is quite a tough foe but we'll get into more attacks once the full battle is out.
