Dig Dug VS Bomberman
Welcome to the Video Game Vs Battle series where I analyze video game characters to find out who would win a battle
Today's matchup will be Dig Dug the Pumper Digger Vs Bomberman the White Bombing Alien Robot. Today I will be analyzing both combatants from their video game appearances. I will not be using anything from a comic book, movie, tv, or any other non video game appearances. With all that out the way let's begin.
Dig Dug VS Bomberman
Dig Dug is named Taizo Hori which means "I want to dig" Dig Dug spends most of his games he digs underground looking for treasure and slaying dragons with his digging skills
"I was once part of the border patrol, so I have some tricks in the store."
Bomberman is a white robot from the island planet Bomber he throws bombs throughout his games. Despite defending the galaxy, Bomberman is careless and can be so naïve he could sometimes blow up the environment he's supposed to protect

Combat skills/weaponry
Dig Dug's main weapon is his pump which can use it to pump his enemies to death (specifically dragons and walking tomatoes) the pump can also go up to 10 psi per pump once Dig Dug impales his enemy he will pump you and make you grow larger and fatter after that two pumps later the victim explodes but the pump can sting enemies for a short time. Dig Dug's other weapon is jackhammer which he uses to dig underground the jackhammer also is strong enough to tear apart an island it can go four directions and is fast & efficient. Dig Dug uses these weapons throughout his battle.

Bomberman's main weapon is bombs that's just about it, these bombs can go off in 2-3 seconds the can not be diffused he can kick and throw his bombs and when he charges it up the bomb can make one big explode. Bomberman also carries an amount of power ups throughout his adventures he uses Accelerator which increases his speed, Bomb Kick and Power Glove which like I said before let's him kick his bombs, Bomb Up gives him extra bombs, Armor gives him temporary immunity, the Explosion Expander gives his bombs a power boost, and last but not least with Super Bomb he can use it for one huge devastating blast. And he means business. Bomberman can also hatch and ride wild Rooeys a kangaroo like creature who is fast, can jump so high, can step over bombs, how ever the Rooeys can die if catch in the bomb's explosion. With all these power ups Bomberman can be a predictable opponent.

Comparison
When it comes to their weapons both combatants are very skill however Dig Dug's pump outmatches anything Bomberman's bombs had where as the pump can make them bigger
In terms of weapons Bomberman may have a better arsenal but Dig Dug can control his opponent like he controls his environments
Dig Dug's methods of fighting and weaponry gave him a leg up though Bomberman's bombs have a better range Dig Dug's arsenal can counter anything that is thrown at him. Dig Dug gets the edge in combat skills/weaponry.

Powers and abilities
Now there's not that much powers and abilities to go over but okay. Dig Dug can go in four directions fast, while under ground Dig Dug like I said before can control his enemies just as he can control his environment. His pump can go up to 10 psi per pump. Once he you get catch you not only get impaled and get fatter to explode but you pop as well. Dig Dug can be a difficult opponent for anyone to beat not with just brute strength but also maneuverability.

Bomberman's hobby of blowing things up can make him a predictable opponent. Bomberman is able to left bombs twice his size as he charges them. In terms of speed Bomberman is quite slow the only time he went fast is when he's riding a Rooey which is super fast can jump high and can step over bombs. Bomberman is careless and sometimes can accidentally trap himself near a wall with a place with a placed bomb. Despite his abilities Bomberman is young and naive and he can be predictable

Powers and abilities comparison
When it comes to their strength Bomberman is incredibly strong capable of letting big bombs
In terms of speed Dig Dug is fast in the dirt Bomberman is not fast himself and needs the Rooey to be fast
When it comes to their maneuverability both terrors are equal but Dig Dug can sure be tough especially underground
Dig Dug's ability to maneuver gave him a huge advantage but it has to be underground. Dig Dug gets the edge in powers and abilities

Verdict
The combatants are ready this will come down to Dig Dug's digging skills VS Bomberman's bombs and power ups this fight will take place in Dig Dug's field
And their will be no prep time
The fight
Before the fight begins Bomberman walks around in a felid and comes across Dig Dug. Then the fight begins when Dig Dug attempts to impale him with his pump but Bomberman shields the attack by pulling out one of his bombs in front of him and runs. Dig Dug see this and digs underground the bomb explodes and than Dig Dug attempts is to make Bomberman fall in the water but Bomberman manages to ride a Rooey and run, Dig Dug uses his jackhammer and destroys three parts of the island but Bomberman dodges do to riding Rooey is super fast. Bomberman rams Dig Dug three times eventually dropping a bomb in front of him. Dig Dug flees underground as the bomb explodes.
Bomberman and Rooey follows Dig Dug underground and drops a bomb in front of him. Dig Dug manages to dodge it. Bomberman grabs some power ups, Dig Dug uses his pump but Bomberman and his Rooey dodges it by jumping high when the landed Dig Dug impales Bomberman's Rooey and pumps it four times exploding Rooey in the process and knocks Bomberman on the ground in the process. Bomberman grabs some power ups. Bomberman chases Dig Dug throughout the underground Bomberman kicks the bomb at Dig Dug who reflects it back at him Bomberman adds three more at the bomb. White Bomber and Taizo Hori flee from both sides as the four bombs exploded
As Dig Dug continues fleeing and digging his way to the surface, Bomberman grabs a Super Bomb four times his size, he throws it causing a big explosion stopping Dig Dug from reaching the surface and lands in front of him in the process. Bomberman holds another Super Bomb three times his size. But Dig Dug manages to impale him with his pump and pumps him twice and dig forward. Bomberman recovers and kicks the bomb at Dig Dug but Dig Dug knocks it back at him. By the time it reaches Bomberman it explodes killing Bomberman in the process. Dig Dug reaches for the surface after defeating his opponent
I declare Taiza Hori aka Dig Dug the victor
Winner: Dig Dug
In the battle between Taiza Hori VS White Bomber, Dig Dug is a difficult opponent for anyone to beat taking the fight underground gave him a high advantage which forces Bomberman to rely on his power ups and although it looked like Bomberman had an advantage Dig Dug proves he can control his opponent just as he can control his environment causing him to win this battle.
