Welcome to Video Game Vs Battles where video game characters come in and I analyze their combat skills and abilities to find out who would win a battle.

Today's matchup will be Blaze the Cat the guardian of the Sol Emeralds VS Sash Lilac the Water Half-Dragon freedom fighter I will analyze both combatants based on their video game appearances. I will not be using anything from a comic book, or movie, or tv, or any other non video game appearance. With all that out the way let's begin.

Blaze VS Lilac

After a binding light incident Blaze the Cat wakes up and finds herself in another dimension. Blaze relies that the Sol Emeralds have been stolen by a mustache old man and put her world is in danger. Desperate to save her world Blaze sets out to find the Sol Emeralds, eventually finds the same mustache old who stole the Sol Emeralds who turned out to be (wait for) the evil scientist himself Dr. Eggman who is up to no good once again. Blaze commands Eggman to give up the Sol Emeralds but Eggman refuses resulting in a battle. Eventually Blaze defeats him and takes by one of her Sol Emeralds however Eggman gets away with six of them. Blaze realizes that she really is in another dimension and sets out to find the rest of the Sol Emeralds and return to save her world however she is lost, then Blaze spots a rabbit named Cream along with a Chao named Cheese. Cream starts to be friendly with her and invites the cat to her house. While there Cream introduces her mother Vanilla to her new friend Blaze who is shocked to be invited to a house by someone she just met, Vanilla and Cream talk about the Sol Emeralds as they Cream suggested that Blaze should talk to a blue hedgehog named Sonic for help, Blaze tells them that she can handle this on herself however Blaze with no other option decided to let Cream come with her as she does need a guild do to the fact that she's lost. After defeating Eggman a second time Blaze gets the second Sol Emerald and does not look at Sonic (who was actually there and saw the Sol Emerald) what so ever instead she runs off. After collecting another Sol Emerald Blaze and Cream encounters a red echidna named Knuckles. Knuckles senses a interesting on her hand Knuckles thought that Blaze has the Chaos Emeralds which she has no idea of what they are. Knuckles then tells Blaze to give the Emeralds to Sonic. But Blaze tells the guardian of the Master Emerald that she has no Chaos Emeralds. Blaze attacks Knuckles and (LITERALLY) berries him into a pit full of rocks and leaves. Eventually Blaze and Cream ran into Amy Rose and has a conversation. Amy tells Blaze that she should ask Sonic for help, Blaze is annoyed after being suggested by someone else to find Sonic, Blaze then says she can handle things on her own. Eventually Blaze and Cream are finally found by Sonic and his sidekick who has two tails named Tails. Sonic and Tails began to question Blaze about her habitats than so realizes that Eggman Nega her arch nemesis is on this world too. Blaze refuses to answer the hedgehog and the fox and leaves along with Cream. After the encounter Cream suggested that she should have asked Sonic for help however Blaze once again says that she doesn't need his help and to not be concerned. Eventually Blaze and Cream find Amy again. Amy tells Blaze that she doesn't always have to work alone and should have a friend to help. Blaze again says to not be concerned and can handle it herself. As the conversation continued Knuckles (who escaped the rock pile after an encounter with Sonic and Tails) returns for some payback however Amy stops him and destructs him while Cream escapes with Blaze in the sky (and like some cats Blaze is afraid of heights). After getting five more Sol Emeralds Blaze confronts Eggman however Sonic ended up following her to Eggman. Eggman explains his plan for his "ultimate power". Angered by this Blaze threatens and vows to kill him however Sonic finds this cold. Blaze tells Sonic to leave and she can handle Eggman herself however Sonic refuses to leave. Sonic attempts to question and tries to stop Blaze from going too far but Blaze attacks Sonic. After the fight Blaze is desperate to protect her world and eventually finally listens to Sonic and error of her ways. Afterwards Tails brings some bad news that Eggman kidnaps Cream and tells Blaze to come alone. Desperate to save her friend Blaze goes after Eggman while Sonic goes after Eggman Nega. After her battle with Eggman Blaze reunites with Cream and finally acknowledges as her friend. After getting all the Sol Emeralds Blaze prepares to save the day however Eggman and Eggman Nega drained all the powers from the Sol Emeralds. Sonic who has all the Chaos Emeralds finds Blaze who despairs over failing to restore balance between the two worlds. However, Sonic and his friends help Blaze realize the meaning of friendship, which in turn recharges the Sol Emeralds. With them restored Blaze transforms into Burning Blaze. Sonic helps her out and with the power of Chaos Emeralds he becomes Super Sonic. With the transformations Sonic and Blaze defeated the Eggmans and saved both worlds and destroyed there Eggmanland plans in the process. As their worlds are restored, Sonic and Blaze chat about how they and their friends will miss one another. Blaze says it is best she leaves like this, but thanks Sonic for his help. Before Blaze leaves, Sonic promises her that they will meet again and the two shake hands just before their dimensions pull them back to their worlds. Back home, Blaze realizes that carrying the world's weight on her own shoulders could lead to irresponsibility, and so she vows to live life with a more open heart.

"I am the guardian of the Sol Emeralds... It is a fate that forces me to live with my curse, my flames... Because of my powers, I have always been alone... It's also why I must do this alone! It is my responsibility!"

Sash Lilac was an orphan all though there is no information about her parents all I know is that her egg got stolen by one the Red Scarves, who raised her from hatching. After some years, she meets Carol and after a brief rivalry, they become best friends. With Carol, she competed in martial arts tournaments for cash prizes on behalf of the Red Scarves, apparently making a significant amount of money from them. It is unknown if this was the extent of her involvement in their activities. What is known, however, is that at some point, gang leader Spade 'crossed a line' that neither Lilac or Carol were willing to go over (hinted to be murder). Feeling the Red Scarves had left them no choice, the two abandoned the gang to go independent. Prior to leaving, an incident occurred between Lilac and Spade, though it is not known if this was linked to Lilac's departure from the gang. What is known is that Lilac feels a degree of guilt about the event, and claims she didn't know what she was doing (a claim that earns her Spade's scorn, hinting that he hasn't forgiven her for the event.) After leaving the gang, both Lilac and Carol became involved in thievery, regularly stealing from the rich during their pilgrimages to the Kingdom Stone. Lilac insist on only stealing from the rich. At some point, she built her own tree house, which would serve as Lilac and Carol's home. By the time Lilac was 15 the energy source of Avalice, the Kingdom Stone, started to fade their strength. With this, an energy crisis started on the three kingdoms, and a war was about to start between them for the last energy within the Stone. While that, a space dreadnought crash landed on Avalice after being attacked above Avalice by the Coalition of Planets. Sooner, Lilac find Torque, one of the Coalition's commanders, being attacked by Shuigang's forces. Selflessly, she rushes out to help Torque. After that, the Kingdom Stone was stolen and Torque's disguise fall and he informs her about Brevon and his plan to steal the Kingdom Stone and double the size of his army and continue his conquest of the universe. Lilac and her friends jumps on this adventure to stop Brevon's plans and retrieve the stone as a neutral party sent by Shang Tu. However, Lilac and her friends were arrested by Shang Tu police after they discover the truth about their past as thieves and members of The Red Scarves, being taken as criminals and spies, not even believing on the evidence brought by Torque, trying to convince Shang Tu about Brevon's invasion. Even escaping right after, Torque was captured by Brevon, and Lilac's friendship with Carol and Milla is put on a test. She went alone to rescue Torque, but she also was captured on her attempt. After that, she was tortured by Brevon to force Torque answer his's questions. Soon, Carol and Milla appear to free Torque and Lilac and escape from Brevon's facility, but they splitted up after escaping, and Lilac was taken back to Shang Tu by their police. She couldn't escape because she was still very weak from the torture. Brought back to Shang Tu, Lilac was informed they examined their evidence, and asked Lilac to make an investigation about another fragment found on Pangu Lagoon that have some kind of connection to their evidence, in exchange of restoring her strength and honor. At the end, it wasn't a fragment, but an entire robot that holds the key to unfold the truth about the dragons that came to Avalice in the past, as well the Kingdom Stone itself. With this new information, it was a priority to stop Brevon's invasion at all costs and retrieve the Kingdom Stone and return it to its place. Soon, Lilac meet back with her friends and they head to Brevon's Dreadnought and kill the power to free the Kingdom Stone. But in the middle of the confusion, Carol and Torque were cornered, and even getting rid of the ambush, Carol had to return back to Avalice with Torque, or she would die. After seeing the scene, Lilac once again run alone to stop Brevon, but she sees Milla very ahead of her. Even running the max she could, she couldn't get there at time to help her to stop Brevon. At the end of the fight, Milla has weakened Brevon and destroyed his Mecha Armor, but then was captured by Brevon, because she wasn't powerful enough to fight him alone. But Lilac finally appeared and in a surprise attack, she freed Milla from Brevon's hands and Unleashed all her rage and power upon Brevon. After the confusion, the dreadnought auto destruct systems was activated, and Lilac escaped from the Dreadnought with Milla, while Brevon escaped heavily injured just like Lilac was after escaping after being tortured, but the Kingdom Stone was shattered with the explosion of the dreadnought. Now in a new form, the Kingdom Stone can be used by everyone in the planet, the Energy Crisis was solved and the war stopped right before really start. Taken as criminals and spies, now Lilac and her friends are taken as heroes.

Combat skills/weaponry

Blaze is a very skilled fighter. She is arguably one of the strongest female characters in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, being the only female so far who has been able to tie with Sonic in combat. Fiercely dedicated to her duty, Blaze is as intense in battle as she is graceful and an equally skilled combatant. Most of Blaze's combat moves focuses on using graceful and delicate movements, similar to ballet moves, to strike precise and hard blows at her opponents. When attacking, she tends to use her feet when launching physical blows. Most of Blaze fighting moves comes from her pyrokinesis and relies heavily on their execution. By using her pyrokinesis in conjuring with her moves, Blaze can create unique and dynamic attacks that deals destructive damage on her targets, making her a fierce force to be reckoned with in combat. Blaze's primary offensive maneuver involves turning herself into a tornado of fire by spinning around. Her techniques Burst Dash and Spinning Claw lets her charge fire and then launch her at full speed along the ground as a fiery tornado that destroy anything it collides with, similar to Sonic's Spin Dash, but it does not keep its speed or goes faster. She can likewise perform an attack similar to the Homing Attack, called Fire Claw, where she quickly launches herself at the enemy and attacks them. By using her pyrokinesis, Blaze can make her able to briefly hover in the air with her Burst Hover by igniting fire under her feet. By also enveloping herself in fire, she can increase her speed further by launching herself as a large fire projectile, called the Fire Boost, which destroys any opponent caught in her path, similar to the Boost. Also, her Axel Jump and Axel Tornado allows her to jump into the air and twirling, making herself a fiery tornado that damages anything she makes contact with. In Sonic Rush, she appears in front of Sonic in a burst of flame to take the blue Sol Emerald. This could mean that she can teleport through her flames, or by a way that may or may not be related to Chaos Control (or a form similar to Chaos Control possessed by the Sol Emeralds). In some instances Blaze is shown being able to levitate in the air. Such cases are seen in her battle against Sonic in Sonic Rush and in her mission with Classic Sonic on Planet Wisp in Sonic Generations. Blaze is also shown to have much knowledge on the various aspects of her world, such as its history, ancient languages and legends, and knows much about the various aspects of the Jeweled Scepter. Also in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), she explained to Silver how the Chaos Emeralds work, indicting that she know very well the emeralds just like her own gems.

"I said this is my problem. Don't bother me."

Lilac has a very strong force of will, completely free of evil or temptation. She can withstand extreme physical torture, and not have her will wavered. Even while being electrocuted with near-fatal voltage, she told Torque not to reveal anything to Brevon. Even Brevon himself said that he believe he could "Hack at her limbs all day" and she would "still find a way to bite back". She is a master level fighter, being trained and operating with the Red-Scarves, and later with formal training on Shang Mu. Lilac has won multiple fighting tournaments, and is well-adept in hand-to-hand and super-powered combat. Her skills rival that of Spade's, and she was capable of defeating The Warlord Brevon himself in a one-on-one duel. Lilac is a naturally born leader, able to inspire others with her charisma, adore, and idealism. She is even capable of turning total strangers, even enemies, into comrades with just her words alone. Lilac seems to possess above average intelligence. She was capable of understanding Torque's techno-babble and explaining it. As a Water Dragon, Lilac is a skilled swimmer. However, a genetic defect prevents her from breathing underwater like pure Water dragons. Despite not having gills, she can hold her breath underwater (and not anywhere else, oddly enough) for longer than others. Lilac has a strong set of close-range attacks that involve hitting enemies with either her boots, her twin ponytails or with martial arts maneuvers. Her signature move, the Dragon Boost, gives her an instant burst of speed, capable to reach Mach speed in a few seconds, and she has a number of extra abilities that help carry her momentum across a variety of different terrain types. Her main weakness is the lack of a ranged attack, being limited to melee attacks, although this is mitigated somewhat by the Dragon Boost granting her temporary invulnerability. Hair Whip it is Lilac's standard attack. A normal whip like maneuver that can also slice depending of the material. Can be done in very high combos. Low Hair Whip a low, but faster version of Hair Whip. Axe Kick is another Martial Arts maneuver seen on the upcoming Freedom Planet 2. (which doesn't come out until 2019.) Can be used either upwards, or smashing downwards. Drop Kick is a direct attack from the air. Uppercut Slash (SHORYUKEN!) is a more damaging version of Hair Whip. Dragon Cyclone is an attacking double jump or grounded spin attack. Stunlocks the opponent while hitting it. Can also reduces full speed. Dragon Boost (aka Comet Boost) is a direction held directs attack. Can be used to fly for a few seconds like a comet, stunlocks the opponent and KO them without armor with relative ease on its enhanced charge. Dragon Wings this enhanced variation of Dragon Boost was first seen on Freedom Planet 2, and shows metal wings on Lilac's back right before perform the maneuver. This maneuver seems to be stronger than the enhanced charge of Dragon Boost from the first game and still causes stunlocking. Dragon Cancel Boost it cancels Dragon Boost mid-way and releases an aerial shockwave. Stunlocks for a second.

"Your machines won't save you from the dragon you've unleashed. I will destroy everything you throw at me! I WILL MAKE YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE!"

Combat skills/weaponry comparison

When it comes to their combat skills both are skilled fighters however Lilac has more combat experiences than Blaze having to have former combat training

When it comes to their skills both are incredibly equal since Blaze and Lilac have similar skills to Sonic.

Because of her former combat training and skills this puts Lilac ahead of Blaze. Lilac gets the edge in combat skills/weaponry.

Powers and abilities

Blaze is born with the power of pyrokinesis, the ability to create and control fire in any way she desires. This ability is so deeply rooted in her that her soul itself is alit with flames. Though Blaze initially had trouble controlling her flames, she has since become very adept at using them, handling her flames delicately enough to creates small embers in the palm of her hands or defrost frozen creatures without harming them. Her control over fire is not limited to her own flames, but also those in the environment, allowing her to bend foreign flames to her will. With her pyrokinesis, Blaze can conjure up flames at any place on or all over her body for various offensive effects, such as turning herself into a burning projectile, forming a cloak of flames or increase the damage of her blows. She can even ignite and raise large columns of fire from the ground from afar. Offense aside, she can also use her pyrokinesis defensively by conjuring up fields of fire around her as protection. She can also use her flames to propel herself forward, increasing her speed and/or granting her limited flight. Blaze's pyrokinesis also gives her limited heat resistance, making her invulnerable to certain types of flames, such as those in the environment. Because Blaze's soul is alight with flame she can serve as a vessel for Iblis who would otherwise reject anyone not a member of the royal family of Soleanna. Even so, she was not able to completely contain Iblis, as his power would still emanate from her. Like many other characters in the series, Blaze is able to run at super speed, though she is not as fast as Sonic or Shadow. Regardless, she is still remarkably fast and possesses high speed movements and fast reflexes, something which even Sonic has acknowledged. As the guardian of the Sol Emeralds, Blaze has a deep connection to the emeralds. Like Knuckles, she can sense the Sol Emeralds' energies, and can as well sense disruptions in the world she resides in. Before she understood the meaning of friendship from Sonic and his friends, Blaze was unable to harness the power of the Sol Emeralds, but after embracing the friendships she had forged, she gained the ability to tap into the Sol Emeralds' energies and use them to empower her. As Burning Blaze, her powers include the traditional flight and invulnerability abilities, as well as an enhancement to her pyrokinesis, which includes the ability to throw fireballs. She is able to either fire small fireballs in rapid succession, or charge her fireballs to make them larger and more powerful. She can also perform the Burning Fire Boost to give herself an increase in speed and to plow through obstacles. She also receives a significant increase in speed and strength; her speed is enhanced to the point where she is able to keep up with Super Sonic, and she is strong enough to send the Egg Wizard flying with a single uppercut. Just like Super Sonic and any other super form it has a time limit and once the time is up Burning Blaze turns back to normal. Despite how tough she is Blaze usually works alone and is always so judgmental to others. Still Blaze is one of the best female Sonic character we've ever seen.

"You're right, Sonic. But... How are we supposed to fight them without getting in each other's way?"

Believed to be the last water type dragon, Lilac is a half-dragon, but has many of the abilities and physical attributes of a pure-breed dragon. She can move, think, and react at supernatural speeds. Lilac can move faster than gunfire, out-pace Brevon's most powerful robots, and even dodge multiple blasts from enemy fighters. Lilac is well known for her speed, and reach half of the speed of sound with a single Dragon Boost. She is faster than Carol on her motorcycle and can even catch up to an enemy ship taking flight. As result of her super speed, Lilac can use of it to crash through metal, wood and stone with relative ease. She can also physically overpower robots that could smash an ordinary creature, as well physically defeat Brevon. For such speed, Lilac needs to be resistant, and her body is naturally adapted for such repetitive movements, intense physical activity and for longer time without fatigue herself. It's very difficult to defeat her by tiring her out. She is vastly resistant to physical damage. She can survive falls from great heights, intense pressure, strikes from beings with superhuman strength, energy blasts, and extreme heat without sustaining injury. However, she is not invulnerable, and sustained extreme damage while being tortured by Brevon. Lilac can preform a high-speed dash in mid-air without the aid of a vehicle. She can use this for short-distance flight at high speeds. Lilac regularly utilizes her twin ponytails in combat for whip-like and slicing maneuvers. Lilac has fish fin-like ears underneath the earpieces, but a genetic defect renders them useless and she's extremely hard-of-hearing if not deaf without her earpieces. Because of that, she depends on them to hear like a normal person. Her earpieces respond instantly to dampen loud noises which would temporarily or permanently deafen normal people. Lilac is not invincible despite her durability surviving falls and heat without injuries she has been weakened do to being tortured by Brevon. Still Lilac is one of the toughest dragon we've ever seen.

Powers and abilities comparison

When it comes to their strength both are really strong however Lilac has more superior strength than Blaze.

When it comes to their speed I'd say their both equal having moves that make them go faster even fast enough to keep up with Sonic. To be clear they are both not as fast as Sonic but I think they are capable of catching up to him at times.

When it comes to their durability both are much durable however Lilac has shown surviving manger falls, very extreme heat, and powerful attacks time and time again although Blaze was able to take a hit from opponents like Eggman and Iblis Lilac's is very extreme.

Although Blaze's creativity with her flames gives her the lead Lilac's durability gives her a leg up. (Okay so Blaze has flame abilities and Lilac has water abilities and normally water beats fire I don't know if Lilac has the advantage let me know what you think in the comments. If Blaze has fire and Lilac has water who gets the leg up? Someone please let me know in the comments.) Lilac gets the edge in powers and abilities.

Verdict

Alright everything is set with a fight between these two female speedsters will come down to Blaze's flame welding and super form VS Lilac's water welding, strength, combat training, independence, durability, creativity and evolution this fight will take place in the Dragon Valley. And there will be no prep time.

The fight

Lilac was seen standing on a mountain. Before she can go explode the wind blows just than a fire spin lands in front of her much to Lilac's surprise. The flames disappear as it was revealed to be Blaze.

Blaze than charges her flames from her hands while Lilac prepares her water abilities. Blaze and Lilac face each other in their stances. Lilac uses a hair whip 6 times but Blaze counters her attack kicks down hill, Lilac manages to halt her fall and runs back up and kicks Blaze in the face. Blaze got mad and summons her flames of disaster and uses them on Lilac however Lilac dodges the flames that was coming from the ground and jumps up and attempts to hit her with a air kick. Blaze catches her leg and throws her down hill again. Lilac halts the fall but Blaze boosted through her and rams her through temple pillars however Lilac does an uppercut sending Blaze in the air and does a another air kick and this time lands a hit. Blaze lands in the grass and takes a breath, Lilac than does a couple of hair whipping combos and then does a boost and rams her opponent to a tree. Blaze does a Spinning Claw and knocks Lilac back. The cat and the half dragon clash with a Fire Boost and Dragon Boost. Once they clashed they both were sent flying.

The two eventually ended up underwater Lilac wakes up underwater floating and sees Blaze on the ocean floor. Blaze swims up to meet her opponent. Once there Lilac attempts to drown Blaze with a Axe Kick however Blaze counters with a Fire Claw and sends Lilac flying out of the water, Lilac lands on the ground as Blaze emerges from the water and jumps at Lilac. Than the two female heroes catch their breath, after that Lilac grabs Blaze with her hair spins around and throws Blaze up into the sky. Blaze lands on top of the temple as Lilac boosts and lands in front of her. Blaze and Lilac than clash with al lot of attacks. However Lilac gets the advantage and throws Blaze on the ground.

Lilac laughs as Blaze is on the ground and said "Do you really think you can win that easily?" As Lilac continues laughing Blaze gets up and punches her to the face on the ground and told her to shut up. Lilac kicks Blaze between her legs and grabs her by the neck choking her in the process. As Lilac attempts to chock Blaze to death the Sol Emeralds came and surrounded her much to Lilac's surprise than the Sol Emeralds get inside of Blaze Lilac gets pushed back than Blaze becomes Burning Blaze, Lilac gets back up and witnesses her opponent's super form. Blaze then angrily looks at Lilac while in the air and says "Witness your true fate!" (Quote heads up that's actually a referenced to Screwattack's Death Battle Doctor Strange VS Doctor Fate.) Blaze then throws a bunch of at Lilac and landed giant hits hits on her sending her flying in the process. Lilac then does one more boost. The two clashed once again causing a giant explosion.

Lilac lands on the same mountain where the fight began as Blaze in front of still at her super form state. Both are taking deep breaths finally Blaze charges at her at full speed however Lilac dodges and kicks her on the back down hill. Blaze manages to halt the fall and charges back at the top, Lilac does a more superior Dragon Boost and flies at her opponent as Blaze uses a superior Fire Boost. Blaze and Lilac charge at each other at full speed yelling while at it. When they clash there was A giant explosion seen in the distance. Once the explosion was over both Blaze and Lilac were out. Lilac gets up with no injury what so ever and sees that Blaze back into her normal state but has died during the clash (do to the super running out of energy) Lilac stands over her defeated opponent as the wind blows.

I declare Sash Lilac the water half-dragon the victor.

Winner: Lilac

Although Blaze has the flame advantage she couldn't compete with Lilac's former combat training, and durability although Lilac has been beaten and tortured by Brevon she can still take hit and keep on going making her the winner of this battle. (Plus this battle can go either way.)
