FINDING AUDIO

so this was requested by the lovely DheekshaGokul so I hope this chapter helps you! I will be showing you guys a good way to find quality audios and what type you might be wanting to look for.

first off, before you edit anything, you have to find your audio first. you have to decide whether you want it to be a sadder type of edit or a happier type of one, so do that first. you got it? okay, now for the fun part in finding the perfect audio.

when I am looking for audio to use, there are multiple ways I find the right one. what I usually do first is just simple scroll through my own music library to see if there's one there that I already have I can use. It's the simplest way to find audio, and it's really nice sometimes cause it gets you away from using the "common" audios if that makes any sense.

the second way I find my audios is through youtube or instagram. there are channels that are dedicated to posting good audios for you to use, and they are incredibly helpful. here are a few that I use sometimes:

for youtube audios, just type in something like "editing audios" or just simply "audios" and you get TONS that show up; here are a few videos that I found helpful for audios.

and then lastly, my favorite way to find audios is to just see an edit used with that specific audio. I used to use vine all of the time, but now since they took that away...I just use youtube and instagram. doing this gives me audio that I like, and it also gives me ideas on how I should edit my video. of course, don't steal the exact style of that edit, but it helps give you inspiration.
