Our country has been struck with grief.

Last night at 2:07 am, the beloved Queen Talia unfortunately passed away. Her sickness worsened after the rebel attack four days ago, and it became unbearable. We grieve for our lost queen, but realize that she is in a better place now, and her imprint will always remain on Illea.

The palace released a statement that said the Queen passed in peace, surrounded by her family. Her last words are rumoured to be, "I have pain, but I have peace." Little is known about the emotional state of the royal family, but there will be a mass dedicated to her memory tomorrow afternoon.

When asked to release a statement, Prince Jonah replied, "This marks a new beginning in Illea. I pray that all who have passed are resting peacefully."

Since our last publication two days ago, there has also been another life lost. Rida Mayari, a selected from Honduragua, passed away the previous morning. Inside sources have reported that Prince Jonah has requested a decree to build veterinary clinics across the country in Lady Mayari's name.

Acclaimed guard Michael O'Brian has been sent back to Ottaro in critical condition, we ask for prayers for him and his family.
